If I knew what was wrong with the pool I wouldnt have hired royal blue to begin with. You would be better off looking elsewhere for pool service. Even the text firing me was so condescending. Adam very kindly chose to go out of his service area (on his day off, no less) to help me in a stressful situation. He performed the services, reassuring me and the future owners that everything was working like it should. Then they called us liars. now they are threatening to put a lien our home. I can document every assertion made in this post. We contracted with River Mist Pools because even though they were higher, they were very nice folks with a stellar reputation. We could live with the fact that they took literally twice as long to build our pool than the timeline they presented to us because we know that this is construction during the summertime in Texas and things happen. However, at the end of the process, our beautiful pool was about tree inches too shallow (it's supposed to be 5 feet deep) and it was quite unlevel. I want to make clear that the very first time River Mist filled the pool, both my family and the River Mist guys recognized that the pool was not level. They immediately agreed to repair the pool and we all decided to do the repair the following spring to give the pool more time to settle. The repair was supposed to take two weeks but instead took five. They finished and re-filled the pool in May (again no issue there...I understand). But then River Mist began demanding their money. I offered to pay River Mist 5K of the remaining 10k but I wanted to hold the other 5k until I consulted with an attorney about my position in this matter (which I'm in the process of now). My feeling is that since I didn't get exactly what I contracted for why should I have to pay full price. . I've already paid 108K. Am I entitled to a discount on the remaining 10k? This is where the issue stands now. If I could go back in time, I would choose a different pool builder. Nice folks but...

For our entire project and at each stage either Brandon or Kim, or both, were onsite almost every day as the different sub-contractors worked on and completed each step. They were on top of everything, and were gracious when we asked to add something or make changes that were important to us, even if it wasn't important to them. We also added some concrete decking and drains to make things more pleasant and roomy for us. We were happy with the cost as well. Not only is Blue Diamond Pools a great pool contractor, but Brandon and Kim are fantastic people and owners. There is no one else I would call for my pool needs.
