Our family picked up a to go order during the Covid-19 pandemic. They were great about telling us the precautions they were using to stay extra clean and safe. The tacos and street tacos were great. Blue Corn Tacos is some seriously authentic Mexican tacos, with great options to chose from. I am a big fan of the chile rellenos, which is apparently their best seller, and my husband likes their carne asada. I have tried both their blue and white corn tortillas, and the blue is far superior in my opinion. I don't even normally like corn tortillas that much, and I loved them. The prices are nice, with two tacos being a good meal, and the service is quite fast. The only reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five is because they use styrofoam take out containers, and they don't have any form of recycling even though they sell drinks in glass bottles. If they were to fix those two things, this would be a five star place to me. read more

This is a small family run restaurant. You always get a friendly smile and welcome from the owners. Longmont has many Mexican restaurants and I have eaten in most of them - but Blue Corn Taco is the best. The menu isn't huge, but the food is great. Always fresh and served quickly. Many varieties of Street Tacos, special taco's, Burritos, etc. my go-to is the Burrito with chicken fajitas filling. read more

We tried this place for the 1st time today, and will be going back regularly! Delicious, well-presented food and friendly, happy personnel behind the counter, a night-and-day change from the previous food business at that location. Another lovely experience with a mom and pop place which can't be bothered to update its status OR leave a freaking voice message when it's closed. Planned around eating dinner here. Checked on yelp, checked on facebook, checked everything several times. Hours all listed as normal business day hours for the establishment. Called--voice mail. No message, but restaurants do that when busy. Got to the place and there's a handwritten sign on the door : we decided to go on vacation. Not good. read more

Great addition to north Longmont! Stopped in, hoping to find breakfast, but they don't do that now. However, they talked us into have a relleno taco (luscious chile relleno on a bed of rice, smothered in green chile and served on a fresh blue corn tortilla) for breakfast, and I couldn't have been happier. On my quest to find the best Mexican food in Longmont I tried Blue Corn. Their blue corn tortill tacos are AMAZING. Everything I've tried there is amazing actually. Breakfast burritos are excellent too. The service is also excellent, I forgot a whole bag of food once when I ordered a bunch of things for work, and the owner chased after me into the parking lot to bring me the food. Tasty food and it's all served on a homemade blue corn tortilla with rice. I loved this place and have gone back numerous times since discovering it. Very friendly couple who have been in the restaurant biz for a good long while and finally opened their own place. The prices are GREAT too; like $5.00 for a plate. So to satisfy my green chile/taco/burrito cravings, I've been trying a number of Mexican cafes in north Longmont recently, and have generally been happy, but I am most impressed with Blue Corn Tacos. Based upon a prior review, I also tried the Chile Rellano Taco and it was great! But we also had Carne Asada Street Tacos, and they might just be my favorite! All tasty and fresh, the quality stands out. Makes me remember the Tacos Pastor of Playa, and every bit as good. Definitely a must-try, I'm guessing that like me, you will be back! read more

OMG!OMG! I think I found the best most authentic tacos in Longmont! I have literally tried every taco place in town from restaurants to food trucks and Blue corn Tacos is by far the best yet! Had an amazing vegan taco lunch today. Three blue taco tastings (nopal, fajita veg, and mushroom mole) with black beans and guac and chips. Tortillas are made to order. Guacamole tastes like fresh avocados. The fajita veggies taste like fajita veggies instead of grill top. They are definitely making everything from scratch. This is a type of upscale fast food place (think along the lines of Panera). Even so, Blue Corn Tacos is better than most of the sit down Mexican food places in town.
