This is a huge restaurant with full bar, multiple taps of beer and an equally huge menu. My group was coming back from a non-high fence hunt. We were cold and hungry. I suggested a drink and some pizza. From the moment we pulled into the large parking lot, it was one surprise after another. The huge lodge building that serves as the restaurant, gift shop, bar and music venue was decorated nicely for Christmas. It was quite the sight. As we approached the building, we heard the sounds of live music. Inside, the crazy display of trophy deer mounts was almost dizzying. It literally took a couple of minutes to adjust to all the hustle, bustle and visual effects. The next surprise was the huge menu. If you can't find something to eat, you aren't hungry. All the items on the menu sounded delicious and the food being picked up by patrons at the counter looked great. We had second thoughts on having pizza when we saw all the fish fry options and other menu choices. However, we ordered pizzas and got our buzzer; to let us know when our pizzas were ready. We went around the corner and orders drinks from the bar. Wherever we were in the establishment, helpful staff gave us the information and assistance we needed. Our wood fire pizzas were really tasty. We preferred the Hot Honey Elk Pepperoni Sesame over the Meat Lovers but both were solid choices. Personally, I wasn't a huge fan of the sauces, but the crust was good and the toppings were ample. Overall, I need to return to try more of the menu (thinking steak). The prices seemed on par with similar establishments, the drinks were reasonable and the service was good. Definitely will add a trip back during a future "up north" excursion.

But you need to ask for that even if you say, "the works". Burger was good, it's really inexpensive and fast. I can see why there is a following for this place. Cash or check only.

We checked their menu online and it was clearly on the bottom of the menu, as AYCE Wings. When we got there, we were extremely disappointed. Apparently, it was AYCE chicken nuggets, not wings. And we're not talking like boneless wings, we're talking school lunch chicken nuggets. Reluctantly, I ordered them. It was $10 and you got a choice of two wing sauces. When I finished the basket of nuggets, the bartender/waitress passed by my empty basket (along with my empty soda glass) numerous times, until I asked for more. I wasn't offered any different sauces or if I needed more. I have been here once before and was really happy with the burger I got, but this last experience will have me thinking twice about going back.
