I will NOT spend my money here. They will NOT get my service again. I would give no stars if I could. We had our RV for over 5 years and this store sold it to us. We had problems with the sales person Bill, from day 1. He moved to a new job and company, before our sale to then hand us over as we were passed around. Understood, things happen. We needed the outdoor fridge replaced from purchase date, to be sent a fridge to large, a small freezer and a y fridge that was also to big and door would not open in the hole. Bill then returned as our service co-ordinator. We took our camper in last month for warranty work .. for possible upgrade...an awning coming off and a broken AC). We had to call over and over leaving messages with NO return calls, two weeks I. Still not made it in the shop. Three weeks in messages with no return calls, to finally reaching him to be told our keys were lost and the repair person was no longer working on our camper. This phone calling with no response continues... Six weeks later received a text it was ready for pick up, called left message, finally spoke to Bill asked if AC had been changed ... we were told it was cleaned and working... we asked him to check it before we drove there... he called us back and stated "oh, your right, it's still blowing hot air. Will order a new one". We were working on possibly coming in to purchase a new one... but as this continued with the service department... our mind was made up... we will drive elsewhere. So we did, sitting in another town working on a trade in on Wednesday we called to see its status, Bill off for the day (we also called him Monday, to check on its status, no response,) spoke with service manager Chris who stated our "Your RV is ready for pick up. When are you coming to get it"?. We had the other company pull up the work completed ... no where on it stated AC had been changed. Thursday we drove down unloaded our RV to have Jermey the salesman we were going to work with approach us and ask "so you would prefer to go elsewhere and spend more money then buy from us?" why Jeremy, what I spent less or more is none of your business and it's not always about money. So AVOID THIS SERVICE DEPARTMENT. This is what you will be dealing with If your working with BILL. As for SALES AVOID JEREMY, not conferenced about approach or customers but rather making the sale. read more

Bought an RV from them had it delivered and the left rear stabilizer jack was not mounted on the main frame. Called them to come fix it and they said they didn't offer mobile services. Never called back. RV was not towable to dealership. Should have been caught during their inspection. Never showed how to use jacks or the defect might have been observed. Very poor service. Bought a Brinkley G3500 in 10/2024. During the PDI had several issues. The controller screen was cracked and the lower door on the driver side was messed up. Melinda at Blue Compass parts has since been telling me waiting on Brinkley to approve and for approval to order the parts for warranty. Well Brinkley has assured me the approval for the leaking faucet and lower door is approved. Melinda when told by Brinkley on 2/13/2025 of this, she said the parts department has to order and also they are short staffed due to employees leaving. Melinda said be patient and they will take care of me. I called back on 3/4/2025 and almost word for word the same thing from Melinda. Walton warranty approval and parts to be ordered again and to be patient. Today 3/24/2025 I called and told exactly the same. Per Brinkley/Landon, my warranty is approved already. Blue Compass in Spartanburg, SC absolutely do not care and they continue to lie for some reason? Maybe it's warranty pay schedule? Who knows? Bought a used 2019 trailer last year and paid nearly $4k for tbe extended warranty. Salesmen was a good talker. I will give him credit. guess what. nothing that has gone wrong is covered. I bought the RV Complete tire warranty for $900. I was just told I have to pay for any labor or service done to repair a screw in the tire. realty? What does a $900 a YEAR warranty cover? i learned something. in order to avoid a claim. Pass them around enough times they give up. Update to my review. I want to give a shout out to the super generous nature of the GM at Blue Compass North Myrtle Beach. I was told that, if I made the 6 HOUR ROUND TRIP to see the coach that wasn't there WHEN I SHOWED UP FOR MY APPOINTMENT up last week to see that exact coach, the GM would buy me lunch. I wouldn't buy anything here again. Bought a new 2022 Dutchman Voltage with a generator...from day 1 that hasn't worked. There are so many problems that can't seem to be addressed. My unit has been in the shop 5 weeks...3 there and 2 at generator place...picked it up and same problems. Now the folks that worked on it for me tried their hardest but the company is dragging their feet. Was supposed to leave for Sturgis today and that's not happening. Generator also has to be rebuilt...a new generator in a new toy hauler...smh Even if I get it back there will be no working generator..... read more

I wish I could give zero stars. The service at this place is HORRiBLE!!!!!! I have way too many bad experience to write in this one post, so just the highlights. All I can say is, my wife and I joke about having free storage because all you have to do is make an appointment, drop it off, pick it back up in 6-8 weeks when everything is supposeed to be fixed. Go pick it up, but the items are not fixed, everything is exactly the same as it was when we first dropped it off. This is a terrible cycle and it seems like nobody knows what they are doing. Wish we could rate them with negative stars. We had an absolute horrible experience with everyone at the Spartanburg SC location. As stated in previous reviews everyone lies and when you go there to look at the RV no one knows what is going on. We were told that we would have to pay a $500 hold fee to look at the RV because they only had 2 in stock. We reluctantly paid the fee because we knew we wanted a Brinkley RV and this was the closest dealership to where we were at the time. We set up an appoint to see the RV and nobody was there to show us the RV. The sales manager said he would be there to show us the RV because our sales rep was out that day. Finally we were told by the receptionist that the RV can be previewed. We went out and looked at the RV after about 30 minutes another sales rep showed up, but he did not want to help us. He couldn't answer questions and would not go over any of the features of the RV. We should have just left at that point, but we didn't because we really wanted the Brinkley RV and wanted it quickly. So we proceeded with the purchase. No one wanted to help us (our sales person was out and we never saw him) so we ended up speaking with the finance guy (John) which was a big mistake since he continually told us lie after lie. Unfortunately we agreed to purchase the RV from Blue Compass (we are full of regrets). They make you pay a $695 fee for prep and inspection which was a joke. The person that showed us the RV was not that knowledgeable and only covered some of the RV features. The RV was not cleaned properly and there were items that did not work correctly (not sure how they passed the BC inspection), we have contacted Brinkley directly and they are helping us resolve the issues. It took all day for the BC team to process the paperwork and transition of ownership. We arrived at 9 am and did not leave until 3:30 PM. Needless to say it was an exhausting day filled with frustration. So many issues to go into now. Our advise is just don't do it. read more

I have purchased 4 RVs from these guys over the years. 3 in Danville, and 1 in SC. John and the rest of the family have always treated me great. It's a family operation and you can tell that just by going there. They are very busy, not their fault, other than they have always been more than fair and honest with every deal. Human nature is to complain on here but never give a pat on the back when due. I plan to trade my 2019 Montana in the next few weeks and I will be going to these guys to get it done. I just purchased a 2021 Keystone Avalanche from RVoutlet, and I'm sorry to say the experience has been just awful! I wish I had looked on here first before I bought. The first time I went in, I stood in the lobby and asked the lady at the front desk if she would find someone to help me. No one ever came out. I ended leaving, and going to Camping World, and the process started out great until I caught the salesman in a lie! I went back to RV outlet....first salesman showed me a few trailers, then passed me on to another salesman. He was OK....but I didn't realize until after I started the purchase process he was done with me! He didn't call to make sure I was happy with my trailer, nothing. I understand that issues arise with a trailer, but trying to get them fixed has been a nightmare. I call the service department, and leave multiple messages. It takes them two to three days to call me back. I will say that the service tech I have spoken to is nice, however he has no follow through on returning calls/emails in a timely manner. It has been over two weeks that I've been trying to get my toilet fixed, and the service department hasn't called/emailed! I ended up going to Campers Inn here in Myrtle Beach...the guys there are really helpful, and sent someone out to fix my toilet as soon as they could. Before I forget....I told the salesman that I didn't have a truck to pull the trailer since I would be living in it full time. He assured me it would be no problem if I needed someone to come out. When I did call....the service tech told me they do not make service calls I would have to bring in the trailer! All in all this has been the worst experience I have ever had with a major purchase. I'm retired, and a few of my friends have talked about doing the same thing. I have told them, and I will tell everyone "DO NOT BUY FROM RVOUTLET"! We spent a year and a half looking for the perfect RV (toy hauler). Johnny (our salesman) was so patient with us, taking us around to look at RV after RV. Over the year and a half we probably looked at 15 -20 RVs and finally settled on a Jayco Octane SL 312. The sales process was so smooth, no stress - just the price of the RV, taxes and registration, that's it. The walkthrough with Brad and Eric was thorough but we discovered that the radio didn't work, so they ordered a new one. When we came back for service a few weeks later, the new radio did not work either. So, they ordered another one. Josh, in service, said he would drop it off at our house during his lunch break. Who does that these days? We are so impressed with RV Outlet USA and would certainly recommend them to anyone. read more

We purchased our 2019 travel trailer from them and it was a great experience. We agreed upon the price plus taxes and tags and that's what we were charged. There were no hidden fees. After a rough time getting them to respond to my attempts to schedule warranty service, we finally got it worked out. I got my TT back and everything was fixed except for one warranty item that required manufacturer approval. I took the trailer back to RV Outlet USA of NMB after the manufacturer approved the change. Had a tv issue and they wanted me to bring the camper back to them 45 minutes away while we are on vacation. No thanks, send a repair man. They finally did. We still don't have a useable table because keystone did not make the table adapters properly. No follow through. I call and wait on hold, finally leave a message and no one returns my call. Back in May my wife and I had heard that there were some great deals to be had on leftover 2022 RV's. After spending some time looking around we settled on a Cruiser 2280 Twilight Signature. Unfortunately, RV Outlet USA of NMB (Blue Compass) did not have what we were looking for and we ended up buying one from another Blue Compass dealer in a different region and had it shipped to us. Unfortunately, we received the unit with multiple issues. We immediately reached out to the Blue Compass NMB in Longs where Chris, Bill, and the entire service team took over and made us feel comfortable with our purchase. Bill's communication with us through the entire process was exceptional. He truly went to bat for us with the manufacturer to make sure they/we had what we needed to make things right. In March, 2019, we had several repairs made to our 6 year old 5th wheel trailer. We paid around $4,000 for all the repairs - reasonable price for what was done. On a trip this month, our automatic leveling system became inoperable (had not been on scope of work in March). We called to arrange an appointment for repair/replacement only to be told that they were now limiting repairs and services to trailers they sold. Our trailer was purchased at a dealership both of Richmond, VA (the area where we lived at the time) so it is logistically a nightmare to return there. We were able to get the needed repair done, but discovered during the process that the cause of the failure was due to a screw being drilled into a crucial element of the leveling system during the repairs in March. Moral of the story, don't expect help from these people if you don't purchase there and don't expect any help when they create other problems. read more

I'll have to say my two visits to RV Outlet, the second one yesterday to have my A/C checked, are 180 degrees different than the other two on here. the staff was courteous and responsive and my ac repair took about an hour and some change. Way less than I expected. The service manager and the guy working on my fifth wheel (he helped us set the trailer up last September) were top notch.
