I was the first person to review Blue Collar Bushwick, and I'm happy to say that, years later, I can stand by my five-star appraisal. I went back and ordered the Eddie's special burger (as did my bf) and a loaded fries to split. The service was very friendly and no-nonsense, the dining area was clean on a Saturday night, and there were upbeat tracks playing out of the kitchen. Once the food was ready, we devoured those things. It was one of those silent meals where you don't even bother trying to say anything because your mouth is too busy making bites, and you know you're both too hungry to care about niceties; you've gone full beast-mode. My housemates and I ordered delivery from here on Friday at around 4pm. The good: food was hot and they described the fries as like McDonald's but better. I found my OK onion burger to be a touch too salty! I think I prefer 7th street burger's vibe more, although the burger from Blue collar didn't hurt my stomach like 7th street often does. I got the new onion cheese double burger and the fries. It ended up being $17. The cheese burger was a decent size but a bit too salty. The fries were bland and honestly I was thinking of throwing them out as they weren't worth the calories. This place is so close by to my place and the worker was nice. Probably my favorite Smash Burger in NYC. Always consistently good. The patty isn't as greasy as a lot of their competitors are. The sides come in good portion sizes, sometimes I can't even finish all the Tater Tot's. Prices are reasonable but not an everyday thing. read more

Food is absolutely great! Consistency is in their recipes so that's a plus! Only downside is one is unable to place an order for pickup through the restaurant. I honestly thought I've reviewed Blue Collar before but apparently not. First off these burgers are juicy, tasty and THICK!!! Especially if you're getting the double cheeseburger. Come on now, pictures don't do these burgers justice. At first I thought it was small so I was like "Hmmm let me get a double" I sure as heck ate with my eyes because I can't even finish it. I'm dry heaving from being super stuffed. This is what I get for being so greedy. As a matter of fact, everything is in generous portions here so even though it's pricey I'd definitely say it's worth it. The chicken tenders are huge. The fries are plentiful. The cheese cups are filled to the top with cheese. The hotdogs are as thick as a sausage. Gosh darnit I can't even finish this review. I seriously can't make this up, this place is super dope with delicious burgers and more. I'm so full, I feel disgustingly satisfied lol. We live in bushwick and decided walk over and check out blue collar. We ordered 2 double cheeseburgers, chili cheese fries and a cookies and cream shake. The burgers reminded me of shake shack. The fries were pretty good and the shake was okay. I did notice that the prices on the menu in person weren't updated so it was more expensive than I expected. Overall, still pretty good. read more

I enjoy blue collars food, but more and more often it arrives sloppily made and messy. Breading falling off chicken tenders, undercooked soggy fries, burger drenched in sauce. My biggest gripe though is at this point they forget the 1.50 cheese sauces I pay for more often than they send them; frustrating. Just seems service and attention to detail has gone down over the past two years. Still pretty tasty, so I keep coming back and hoping it improves again. read more

Ok so first off! I ordered on postmates but please note, my postmate driver was very quick and efficient this time around. The burger is sloppily made and very small for a burger and not a slider. Patty seems very small like smaller then shake shack or many other places. They charged me $1 extra for onions and I swear there was one super skinny ring of onion on the burger lolol. The frys felt like they were a day old, tough and chewy, they were cold which is weird because like I said the postmate was quick and the burger was hot. Overall, mediocre at best. Food was alright. Service was good. Way way overpriced. Purchased a double cheese burger, fries, and a milkshake and it came down to 26 dollars. Sheesh. For food comparable to any fast food chain it really shouldn't cost this much. The burger was relatively small for being a 15 dollar burger... I ordered a veggie burger with fries and onions. It wasn't bad, the packing and taste reminds me of in and out burger. I ordered through DoorDash and my dasher was pretty quick and I live near by the food was cold. I recommend eating it in the restaurant if possible. Also store provided a special sauce for onions rings and it was half full. I was good but looked already use the onion ring to sauce ratio wasn't enough please fill out container next time. Blue collar is kind of a mix between McDonalds and Shake Shack. The burgers are shake shack style and actually really delicious. The fries are about the same thinness and texture of McDonald's fries. I personally am very into the chicken fingers and their special sauce, and their shakes always hit the spot. My only issue is that the fries can sometimes vary in freshness. It's evident when they've been sitting for a while. The tots are always perfect, though. All in all, great local spot! read more

I had a veggie burger and my boyfriend got a cheeseburger. They were of about average size compared to other similar restaurants (5 guys, etc). We both had fries which were so good -- star of the show! The only reason I won't give 5 stars is I couldn't seem to detect any of the "special sauce" on my burger and neither could my boyfriend. I ordered a double bacon cheeseburger, a side of fries, and a strawberry shake for my lady. First of all, let's talk beef. The patties were cooked very very well. Crispy on the outside but still juicy and tender. The bacon was plentiful, though not as crispy as I would have liked. The fries were pretty darn good too, can't lie. They almost tasted like McDonald's fries, except better. I didn't get a chance to try the strawberry milkshake, but I presume it was delicious, because it had a very short lifespan. My only issue (and it's a minor issue at that) is the cost of the food. The burger was just over $10, the fries were approximately $5, and the milkshake was nearly $7. Slightly on the pricey side, I can't lie. Price is the only thing that kept me from slapping them with a 5-piece. Overall, really good though. read more

They truly do not give an F about their customers. So many times I've ordered from them (yes I keep going back with hope they'll change) and they're 30-40 mins over the delivery estimate plus the food is not at all hot.
