I've tried to contact them for days. The phone is never answered, nor does voice mail pick up. What good are they if you cant contact them?

Bryan is as nice as his wife, and he checked my alternator, and gave me some suggestions about my run down battery.

I managed to get off New Circle Rd onto another side road and was able get a tow truck and they recommended AAMCO and took it there. I was late afternoon and the shop was getting ready to close for the day. So I spoke to Al the next morning. The shop was booked up for the day (July 3rd) and Al said it would be Friday July 5th before they would be able to look at my car. I checked with them Friday morning and asked them to check my air conditioner while they were diagnosing the transmission, Al said the would. A short time later Al called and let me know the diagnosis and the cost. My car was ready very soon and the price was very good. I am a happy customer! I drove home to west Tennessee with no further problem.

Transmission issues. The dreaded phrase that strikes to the very heart of a car owner's bank account! I had the car towed to Aamco with fear in my soul! Al was able to look at my 04 Trailblazer the next day. He called to say he'd determined the problem was electrical, rather than transmission-related. (In my book, "electrical" is the SECOND scariest word in car repair.) He explained in detail how long he would spend looking for the wiry, sparky culprit, how much it would cost, and when he would stop to review with me what he'd found and if I wanted to continue if it couldn't be fixed quickly. Later in the day, he called to say that the problem was fixed and that it had been so straightforward, I'd only be charged the labor fee he'd quoted me earlier in the day! Now--I know I got away with a small bill, which alone would make me happy. But Al was extremely up-front with me about cost and time, was sensitive to my concerns about both, and (most importantly) did NOT take advantage of the fact that I was ready to shell out much more to get the problem fixed. I would recommend this shop to anyone, particularly if you have concerns about transmission issues.

He kept putting me off, saying he was 2 weeks behind. Finally he agreed to let me bring it on May 1, 2023. I called that morning and he wasn't in until 9 am. He called me back & said he was running behind could I wait till Wednesday & bring it. I did. Never heard a work so 5/19/23 I called to get status. His 'story' was he couldn't get parts, they were on backorder. Only parts needed were Power steering pump lines that were rotted and leaking and a transmission seal. I told him there are Internet websites where you can order parts. He says "yeah I know but they're on back order" (??). He was lying to me. I can tell when somebody is not being honest with me. So I had to go June 5th to get registration from glove box so I could send in the tax & license renewal. He still hadn't touched it. The glove box was messed up, not opening/closing right and covered in greasy hand/finger prints. I told him we really needed the car as both of us were sick and had so many appointments. He said the parts may be there on Wednesday. Surprisingly, he called me on Tues and said we could pick up the car. I went over the several things he had said was wrong and he said he had fixed all them. I picked the car up & he only charged $120. I asked him about the Glove Box not working right,, to which he replied " I don't know anything about the glove box, I was under the hood. The receipt he printed out said "repair transmission seal"...that's all. Got home and daughter noticed some serious scratches on the hood that was not there when we took it in. The entire time I worked with him on this car -over a month- he was rude, had an attitude and treated me like trash. It's like my money wasn't as good as somebody elses. I will never use him again and will tell everybody I know about his shoddy work and pissy attitude. He needs to hire somebody with a personality to manage his business and he needs to keep his head under somebody else's hood.
