I expected way more from a $20 burrito, especially from a place that supposedly specializes in them. With all the hype online, I thought I was about to have something worth the money. I ordered a California burrito, usually my go-to, but this was an absolute disaster. Easily the worst burrito I've ever had. It was sad, limp, and barely warm. Mostly just a thick, doughy tortilla stuffed with sour cream and the tiniest amount of meat. It was so overloaded with sour cream it was almost inedible, like biting into a cold, soggy mess. The salsas somehow made it worse. Watery, bland, and weirdly bitter. I felt genuinely grossed out eating it. I used to think Alberto's was the bottom of the barrel, but this place takes the crown. Jilberto's down the street is cheaper, bigger, better, and actually tastes like food. I wouldn't wish this burrito on anyone. Update next day we've got food poisoning from here. read more

We ordered via Grubhub today, the order was filled incorrectly & items missing. I had the chicken quesadilla, the meat was to salty to eat, I had to throw it away. The Pollo asada burrito was only a small amount of chicken & guacamole, nothing else. Again that chicken burrito was way to salty. The rolled beef taco & chicken taco meals were also salty, my young niece's could not finish them. We will not be ordering from this resturant again, first impression and you lost us. I was curious about this new place, as I had never seen it until recently. The layout and decor were all in blue and white; bright. I took a look at the menu and saw how most of the menu was Mexican dishes. Cashier asked me if I had been there before. I said I hadn't. He then proceeded to ask me I wanted recommendations. I said sure and he recommended the carne asada fries and the burrito. I got the regular size carne asada fries. He asked me if wanted sauce and I told him to give me the spiciest one, which is the habanero. I asked if I could have tomato added to it and he said yes. Food took a bit to be prepared. I got my food and ate outside. Off the bat, I noticed it wasn't the best presentation. This is probably because I wanted it to go. The cheese wasnt melted and just sprinkled on there. I wasn't a fan of that. I took a bite and nothing seemed special about it. Just regular carne asada fries. I added the habanero and was disappointed that it wasn't spicy, I get that it is maybe because people can't have really spicy. I was a decent portion, so I had some to take home. Great service, good portion size, meat was really good as well. Much better than Albertos or other similar Mexican type food I've had in the area. The restaurant was clean and well maintained. First visit was a test since it's been around the corner for a while now, just not a big selection and the price has kept us from going. The price is unfortunately justified for the quality and amount of food you get. The shrimp tacos were honestly the reason for the second trip because *chefs kiss*. As someone who cooks, grills, & ofcourse eats a lot they are worth recommending. The freshness of the corn tortillas were a nice addition to the tasty Shrimp & Adobada tacos. Carne Asada Fries are better than average but those Blues Famous Rolled Tacos were the right move with extra Shrimp. Just ask for a side for tortillas & thank me later. This restaurant gets 5+ stars from my family on all the things! This is quality food with freshness you can taste from the first bite!! I had the beef rolled tacos. First the tortillas have great flavor, the meat was perfectly seasoned, topped with fresh lettuce, pico, cheese and their house guacamole. Oh and don't forget their salsa that is made fresh daily (the green is my favorite). I've had them 4 times since they opened! My husband LOVES their steak and shrimp burritos with their special sauce (always get extra sauce, soo good!) and carne asada tacos with their habanero salsa. My son loves all of their fries, nachos and the chicken quesadilla. The owners are friendly and the service has been great! They're a very new restaurant still training staff but manage to dish out amazing food every single time. Needless to say, we'll keep coming back! read more

Oh man I'm going home for a nap! This was sooo good! I got the Blue's Famous Rolled Tacos and they were so full of flavor. They were hot and super crispy. The shrimp and carne asada meat on top were grilled perfectly too. I would absolutely get it again. They give you an option of which salsas you want I suggest trying all four. All of them have good flavor profiles even the ones that are spicy. My husband got the Oreo Fantasy shake and I got the Salted Caramel shake. Both were delicious! My husband ordered the Cali Burrito and he also said it was good. The staff were friendly and very accommodating when we went during lunchtime and they were constantly cleaning up and keeping the dining area presentable. The restaurant itself is nice and updated there's lots of fun art on the walls the go along with the name. There's two tvs and music going but it's not too loud so you can still talk and have a nice meal. I'm glad I went and I hope it stays for a long time. read more

I was eager to try this place for awhile and I've been trying to find somewhat good Hispanic food out here in Riverside. I ended ordering the adobado fries, they were ok I would give it a 7/10 only because it did scratch that itch and I was very hungry they felt a bit oily and the adobado felt like frozen meat that was cooked (nothing fresh) they weirdly enough added cotija and that was just a weird combo, I would recommend taking that off when ordering. Their breakfast burritos are sooooo delicious and their habanero sauce is finger licking good and actually spicy !! I am very picky when it comes to breakfast burritos because I don't like that they put mostly fluffed up egg, so I appreciate the authentic homemade taste . I will agree with the comments that there is an excessive amount of tortilla on it, I always have to remove some towards the end but the taste makes up for it. Service is great, the place is super clean, I got my order of 2 breakfast burritos within a reasonable time, this is my new favorite breakfast spot when I want something quick and delicious. We got the "Blues Famous Rolled Tacos"--and honestly, I don't know what's so famous about them. They looked nice, but flavor? Nonexistent. I doused them in both green salsas, and still, nothing. On top of that, they even forgot to hand my drink and forgot the onions and cilantro in my burrito. They don't even have rice in their burrito and I'm pretty sure the employees don't even read the orders properly, hence why they take so long and forget my drink.
