I will preface this by saying I was legitimately worried about how my experience was going to be based on my phone call to schedule my appointment. The woman I spoke with was short, condescending, and cold. I was hoping she was just having a bad day. She wasn't there the day we went so maybe she's not there anymore.... I could not have had a better experience bringing my best friend and her 13-year-old daughter for her first blowout. It was truly a 5-star experience. And this coming form someone who used to be a frequent flyer at Drybar! September, the owner, was there and she was warm, welcoming, friendly, and on top of it all. And she has fabulous hair too! All three of our stylists were kind and made an effort to get to know us. I was offered a glass of Prosecco while I waited and who can deny that?! My goddaughter is now hooked and I know we'll be back plenty of times to come. I live an hour away and while I could have gone somewhere closer to home, I am glad we went for a Drive because it was totally worth it! read more

This place was an unexpected treat for me the last time I was home. The stylist I had, Ava, was great and had a similar hair type to me so I think that's why we were paired. Everyone was very welcoming and made sure I was accommodated with water. The only reason I wouldn't give it 5 stars is because it seemed a little.on the worn down side - open and a little dirty. Great place to get a quick wash & blow dry! Typically the places I go to spend 1 hour for this service, but Blow Dry Westport does it in 30 minutes and does a great job! My daughter & I were able to get our services done at the same time. My hair wash was done very quickly, but also very thoroughly! I had two washes. My hair came out great! My daughter wanted hers straight and it looked beautiful. I will definitely come back. read more

Some of the staff is low key racist. I witnessed a women with curly hair come in to get a blow out. The hair stylist rolled her eyes when she walked in and made a fee comments that I found very unprofessional. If you have fine straight hair sure this might be a good place for you but if you have curly hair go else where... no one should be treated this way read more

I was a regular customer at Blow Dry and satisfied with the blow.outs I had - but two weeks ago I had a blow out and then the next day, it rained - I was not out in the rain but the whole blow dry collapsed I called to ask if there was something they could do for me since I paid $45 and a tip additional I explained that itself up less than one day and I was told by the owner that they would do nothing for me Except of course offer another full price blow dry She was curt and although I told her I'm a regular weekly client she was firm Not at all customer service Was it really worth losing a customer ? read more

blow dry is the best thing since teeth whitener and hair color, even Botox. Every time I walk in, I feel immediately at ease and happy. You can't go wrong with any of their totally cool, (really cool as in- no judgment, healthy praise, professionalism and wanting the best for you) hair stylists. Their easy breezy attitude coupled with their incomparable styling - makes their superb execution feel effortless. But it's not. These woman are no joke. They're experts. Not to mention the I'm In and out in 20 minutes- greeted with a beverage of choice, consulted, spill my guts out, transformed into hairtastic! The most luxurious 20 minutes of my week! Recently visited the Westport location. I had not been in quite some time as I always seem disappointed with my hair when I leave. I had a special night out planned so I decided to give it another try. When I left my hair as usual was "over dried" with fly always. The product leaves your hair feeling heavy and dirty. I don't think anyone needs two washes, just strips hair. The pulling, tugging and high heat are not necessary. My hair looks better when I do it myself. I go to a professional salon for my cut and color. I always have a blow dry after. Words can't describe the difference when I leave there. My hairdresser blows out my hair in SMALL sections and there is no pulling, tugging, extreme heat. She also doesn't "pre dry it and section it off with clips. Blow drying is an art and she is an artist. read more

For starters, this place is rarely open. Second, it is very pricey. Third, if you book and appt online, they call and tell you to come earlier or they cannot give you the person you booked with online. Fourth, all the good ones leave. Took my daughter here for her hair to be done for 8th grade graduation. We specifically called to be sure they would schedule her with someone who really knew braids. Well, we went in, and paid a fortune for nothing that we asked for. The girls are clearly not qualified to be charging those fees when they cannot do any of the current braid trends. Her hair fell out before the. Ceremony. The gal at the front desk was very rude and just unpleasant. They quoted us 3 different prices ranging from 25 to 75, laughable when you saw what they did to her hair. Will never go back, please beware! read more

I had an appointment to get my eyebrows waxed at Greg and Tony's with ivonne who is a pro. When I got there ivonne was not there due to a personal emergency. Greg and Tony's recommended I go to blow dry and have Melissa dot eyebrows I was very very hesitant since I have been a loyal customer to ivonne for 10plus years. When I asked about Melissa training and skill the response was oh she's fabulous - I gave it a chance - she is NOT fabulous and will never go there again. Her procedure and attitude are awful and I do not recommend her. read more

I so wanted to love this place. The good news: my hair looked great. The bad news: for less than an hour. Within the hour it had frizzed and curled, and looked terrible. The worse news: the blow out came with such extraordinary attitude from the stylist, if I didn't know better I would have assumed I had committed some egregious crime against her. The customer service here is terrible, which is a shame since the stylists are actually really nice and good. I booked my bridal party here for my wedding. I had a trial done and it was recommended that I also try makeup even though I didn't request it. I decided to include makeup in my trial run and did not like it at all-it was far too much. My mom also had a trial for hair and makeup that same day. I followed up saying I was only interested in hair and then on my wedding day, was told that we would have to pay for my mom's makeup as there was confusion that she wanted it even though we never asked for the trial or said we wanted it on the actual wedding day. It was $125! You would think when you are bringing in 5 clients and its a wedding, you wouldn't charge a customer for your mistake or force the makeup on a client. Absolutely terrible service-I don't recommend it!!! read more

Never go again! The girl who did my daughters hair never asked if she wanted her hair washed just started using the hot iron. Then did a terrible ponytail with a braid. It looked ridiculously high. She redid the ponytail. Then I was charged a $100. We will never go back again. Think twice about going here! read more
