Stopped in on a weekday morning to ask a couple of questions regarding my daughters upcoming November wedding. Simple and easy questions that would help me decide if I wanted to pursue the conversation with an appointment to discuss the brides flower and greenery ideas and commit to hire Blossoms to provide the fresh and beautiful color for this very special day. On a side note, I am a returning customer. Several years ago, Blossoms was hired for my oldest daughters wedding. I walked in 95% sure that Blossoms was the business I most trusted, admired and knew that would fill the brides vision for this important day. HOWEVER, it all changed when completed ignored by staff members mulling around the store in what appeared to be busy work. After 5 or so minutes, I approached the next passing staff member (Doreen) who seemed unimpressed with my presence. With every single simple question i asked, one included "Do you have any pictures on hand of recent fall weddings that Blossoms has done?", I was met with the same answer. . . . . "You need to make an appointment!". I have to make an appointment to inquire? BTW, my plan for this visit was to gather some information for the bride and walk out WITH AN APPOINTMENT. While in the store, I also showed interest in many pieces of greenery and displays and followed up with questions on year round availability. There was absolutely no effort or interest in my business or presence. Just a look of annoyance. There is no way that this beautiful occasion is going to be stained with such disrespect and arrogence. Disappointed and without another florist plan, I looked across Woodward and saw AFFORDABLE FLOWERS. I immediately was greeted and introduced to Carol who not only answered my few questions for the bride, but also took the time to show me a couple of pics of fall weddings they have done, set me up to follow their Pinterest Board, talked to me about fall flower and greenery availability and pricing AND MADE A FUTURE APPOINTMENT. Affordable Flowers earned my business with kind customer service, beautiful flowers and greenery, understanding and human respect. read more

Blossoms did my wedding flowers and despite my not being on site did an amazing job. I wanted grass runners with bright flowers and it was really really beautiful. My guests loved it! I can't recommend them more! Thank you so much!!! read more

Just received the absolute most beautiful arrangement of flowers ever!! The "vase" was a glass cube filled with sand art! The flowers were arranged across the top of the cube in a very artistic, unique sculpted way. Roses, orchids, flowers I had never seen! (Not a carnation or "wild" flower in the bunch!). Norman It was 40 degrees the day the flowers were to be delivered, not freezing or below. Also, your staff claimed to have called me two times, which they didn't I left a cell, then told me they didn't call because the number listed as the delivery number was the same as the order. The flowers were for my wife at my house. Your response to this note perfectly summarizes the attitude of you and your staff: your way or the highway. I contrast this with a recent experience with Restoration Hardware when they were a day late with delivery: they notified me and waived the delivery fee. read more

Blossoms was kind enough to create BEAUTIFUL floral arrangements for our charity event at The Townsend Hotel in Birmingham. We received so many compliments throughout the evening. Very poor experience here today. Was helped by the manager, tried ordering a small bouquet as a surprise. The transaction went well, she was very helpful. I had one simple request- I asked for them not to call her when the flowers delivered (an absurd store policy, who wants to receive a phone call about that?) and to leave the flowers and call me to let me know they had delivered. After some resistance and confusion from the manager Christina- I said forget the phone call if that's a problem, just leave the flowers. Naturally, this was botched and they called her anyway. The flowers were great, quick delivery. But I've never had such poor customer service, after getting attitude from the manager when I called and asked what happened, I was told to keep trying back the following morning until the owner was available. There's other places to get flowers folks- these people can't comprehend even the most basic directions. Really wish I could take this 1 star back too. read more

I have been a customer since day one, never disappointed, love the creative unique touches that only Blossoms can create. Parking was great in Berkley, it was sometimes challenging when they were located off Maple ( well worth driving around the block a few times if necessary) When I was in a hurry, I could just pull into the alley and pick up my fresh flowers, now located off Adams, parking is great again. Believe me, I know never to miss the sidewalk sales and after Christmas Sale, I stock up every year, and are pleasantly surprised the following season when I unwrap my goodies from the attic. A few months ago, I was able to come across a Grand Frosty the Snow Man and donated it to the Children's wing at William Beaumont Royal Oak, Norm sold it to me below cost, he agreed it was for a good cause. The Children absolutely loved it. Blossom's to my knowledge is the best in Oakland County and possibly the State of Michigan. read more
