I placed an order for a small arrangement for my daughter in law for raniculas (sp). It took an extra day to get them in stock which they explained to me. I was very pleased with the arrangement and delivery was timely. I have used these folks several times for flowers at Thanksgiving and Christmas for family and have not been disappointed. I called to place an order for my mother-in-law who is unwell. To cheer her up, to liven her home with a bouquet. This is Grosse Pointe, I was mistaken in expecting a level of sophistication of a florist of gone by days. I ordered peonies. These are the flowers, the great masters would paint in a still life. Majestic flowers. I ask for an expensive bouquet (3 figures). I ask for a picture to assure me that they have only put peonies and greens. My mistake. They really did. Only peonies and greens. They stuck flowers and greens in a vase with water, no bow, nothing. I did not know to ask for a bow. IT'S A FLORIST!!!! When have you gotten flowers without a bow?, even at the farmers market, they give you a bow. If you don't care, if you want a dull and lack luster arrangement, and think you ought to pay a higher price and are fine with micro managing the design, Go forth and give them your money. (Ha! she dared call that design!!!) Thank goodness those flowers not fresh, are still beautiful. Because some were full bloom already. TSK. read more

I was able to upload a photo, get a quote, and get suggestions on how to change around the bouquet in the photo to make it look its best, all from a training room in Ohio. BEWARE!!! I have used Conner Park Florist for years, (over 20)because they do a great job, however, recently I put in order in for my mothers birthday. I was routed to "for you flowers" and placed an order. They never arrived. The order was placed two days prior, I called after the first "missed delivery" they assured me they would be there the next day. After not being delivered again, I called the company. Very rude, no manager and was on the phone, mostly for over a half hour. I have no idea why a reputable florist would be associated with a crack pot operation like this. I needed flowers sent to a family member in the hospital but I live out of state. I was hoping to get the whole thing sorted first thing this morning but sometimes these things are confusing and take forever. Not the case with Conner Park! It took about 5 minutes for the entire interaction. I told him I didn't mind what kind of flowers but I wanted to keep it at a certain price point, and spelled out what to put on the card. 4 hours later I receive a text from my family member with a picture of the beautiful flowers and card. I love this florists. I would never use anyone else. These people have made my mom flowers for her birthdays. I told them a price-- and make it the best. I can not explain how gorgeous they are. They use top quality and go over and beyond. My mother could hardly hold them they were so heavy. They were bright and colorful. We used Conner Park for our wedding and were overall very happy with the experience. Their flowers are high quality and fairly priced. We loved the bridal party flowers and they delivered exactly what we asked for even though it was rather unique. I'm disappointed to say our centerpiece delivery was not the same as the demo we received based on our requests but they were still beautiful and Connie explained it was a one-time error that she obviously felt bad about it. read more

I have been a customer for over 40 years, sending flowers from Conner Park wherever I lived around the country. It made sense, then, to order two arrangements for my husband's funeral in the Grosse Pointe area. Wrong. I ordered two arrangements to be compatible with an urn. Both were lovely, but one was totally wrong. The designer Understood that "similar to" but smaller sized to be adjacent the urn really meant, oh, right, make it big and fat like the online photo. I found the giant sized version at the church and couldn't use it at all--totally a wasted $200 expenditure. When I called the florist following the funeral, the offer was a 30% refund, with the suggestion that there was a joint communication failure. Beware, folks, and get your preference in writing. The confirmation the florist sent arrived on the Monday after the Saturday funeral. read more

I can't believe how many good reviews there are. I called to make an appointment for a consultation for my wedding flowers and yes, my wedding is a year away. The woman I spoke to on the phone was so rude! She went on and on about how my wedding is close to the holiday season and they do a lot of Christmas displays and didn't know if they could have time for me! Then said "I mean your wedding is a year away!! Do you even have your dress or venue picked out?" For her information, I ordered my dress, have a down payment on my venue and church, and my bridesmaid dresses are almost all the way paid for! How rude!
