I have been to Blooming Nails twice since it opened last month, once for a pedicure and twice for a gel manicure. This place is awesome. It's brand new, very clean and organized. The staff could not be nicer or more professional. They all wear company aprons with name tags and are very quiet. There are 2 big screen TVs with a movie playing on them. The volume is kept off but the closed captioning is on so you can read along if you like. It's a nice distraction, especially during a manicure when you can't read a magazine. There is also relaxing background music playing. Comfy pedicure massage chairs. There is very minimal conversation between the techs and when they do speak to one another, it is very quiet. I have seen the same nail tech (she goes by Amanda) twice now and just made an appointment with her again tonight. I have awful cuticles and she does a great job of getting them back in shape. My gel has stayed perfect for 2 weeks with the exception of my nails growing out and the "roots" starting to show. The edges just started to curl yesterday. She takes her time and is very particular, paying special attention to the edges making sure they are all covered with color and top coat. I'm sure this is one of the reasons for the gel longevity. Great selection of colors. You also get a hot towel finish and neck massage as part of the purchase. The prices are pretty standard for the service ($30 for the gel manicure). They offer coupons online (a reg manicure and pedicure for $30, $5 off a gel mani if you also get a regular pedi, ect). They also offer a discount card that they sign everytime you purchase a service. After 12 visits, you receive a discount. I was Rushed through on 45$ spa pedicure. 10 minute hot stone leg massage might have lasted 3 minutes and my cuticles were not trimmed at all. When I asked if they no longer did that he tried to tell me he did cut them. He did not touch them. Never even had the cuticle trimmer in his hand. My friend who sat next to me received the same lack of service. Will not go back. Don't waste your money.. read more

I started coming here because my nail tech, Yuna, moved here from Miracle Nails. She is amazing! The salon is really new and clean and they usually have a good movie playing so you won't be bored. I also get pedicures here... They do try to upsell for spa pedis or whatever (like other reviews said), and if you get the regular one, the exfoliation isn't as great as Reddick's. But they generally do a great job, I'm going on my third or fourth week and my toes are still perfect! read more

Worst service everrrrrrrrr so I go here all the time but today they give me a girl who does not know wtf she is doing at alllll!!!!!!! So I am a licensed cosmetologist so I know how this is supposed to be done. First of all you DO NOT cut ingrown nails without soaking firs!!! And when I ask her to soak them she can't comprehend wtf I am asking her!! At this point they have already started soaking my nails off and they don't know how to do that right either!! The service here is unbelievable! The staff is prompt and extremely friendly (which says a lot as far as nail salons go), and they are gentle on your natural nail. Although they don't really specialize in designs (graphic nail art) the quality of the services are undeniable. Twice I have broken nails within a day or two of getting my manicure(my own fault) and they always get me right in for a repair, free if charge! Went here, as I have for years now, but I had a terrible experience. My toes were cut too short to the point of bleeding/pain. Then filed down even further!!! I said it hurt and I got a quick sorry. Lotion was applied to my legs and then his phone rang so he left and got up to answer it (across the room) and stood in the hallway. Then came back to rub in the lotion with again, no sincere apology. I get things come up but this was rude. I asked my nails not to be filed down and sure enough, they were. I don't know why this happened this time, but they're way overpriced compared to other BETTER places in the area. Please go elsewhere. read more

New clean & big space so you don't feel like you are on top of anyone else like other salons and it's right in Township 5 next to Costco. They are very friendly and they get you right in. They are always showing movies on the tvs which is great. It's a nice relaxing place! read more

This nail salon isn't my regular location. The technician clipped both my (big) toe nails too short, The (left) toe nail was bleeding and the technician didn't acknowledge this. I mentioned this, and she proceeded to clean it with an alcohol pad. Ouch! I also paid extra for a spa pedicure and wasn't compensated for the error. I will not return to Blooming Nails. read more

I stopped in there this past weekend and they were extremely busy. I wanted some information about there services. As I was talking to the female at the desk a customer approached and asked why her daughter hadn't been helped yet as she had been sitting at the manicure table. The female didn't say excuse me or any communication to me at all-she just walked away. That made my decision to not do business with them. When I walked out, a woman who had been waiting walked out too. Maybe they have growing pains but they should revisit there customer service skills!!! I got a gel manicure and pedicure. The gel stayed for 6 days then my entire gel pinky nail peeled off. I went to get it fixed at the salon and they fixed not only my pinky nail, but one other that started to peel. Now 8 days in, my ring finger nail peeled off. I won't be going back again to get it fixed or another manicure. read more

I visited for the first time approximately three weeks ago. They were busy, but I didn't have to wait at all. I went with the mani/pedi option. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the salon and the quality of the worked performed. The free mini massage while my nails dried was an added bonus. The polish on my nails hadn't chipped ar all after the first week! I had only regular polish...no shellac. It survived showers, regular hand washing, and me doing the dishes! I came here based on the positive reviews on Yelp. The salon is spacious, with probably 15 nail techs. I didn't have an appointment, so just a short wait. I got Ken, who was very good, in spite of trying to sell me extra services, which I expected. I would definitely go back, as the salon is clean, and the nail techs are efficient. read more

The only good thing I experienced was the wait time, on a semi busy day, I only waited 5 minutes with no appointment. I got a basic manicure because the options for dip/gel were not impressive. The polish was very streaky, and the file/buffer that were used were very used (these are disposable for a reason, and it violates new york health codes). The use of powder brushes to get excess powder off of nails is also a violation of the health code because there is no way to sanitize it properly, and the nail clippers, the cuticle trimmer and the cuticle pusher were all taken out of the drawer in front of me, had not been sanitized since prior use, which is so disgusting. When my nails were drying, someone came up behind me without announcing themselves and started to rub my shoulders, which I had already declined during my manicure because I do not under any circumstance want to be surprise touched by a stranger. I will not only never come here again, but I will deter my friends and family from coming here in the future. read more

My daughter had a bad experience with the quality of our mani/pedi's last week. They didn't do what we paid for and the whole experience was a rip-off. I paid extra for the callus removal which she barely touched. My daughter asked them not to cut her nails off, only to file them and either they didn't hear her or they weren't paying attention and they cut them all off. My daughter was livid. Also, our nail polish started coming off the next day because they didn't use a base coat on my daughter or a top coat on me. We will go elsewhere. Too bad because the place is nice and new and the technicians are very friendly. Just not experienced enough to do a good job. read more
