This was my friends' and my first time going here. I was getting a gel pedicure. The technician working on my toes seemed like she was still learning, as she kept checking in with the owner and another man whenever I had questions. During the removal of my old gel and acrylic, I believe she used the wrong drill bit, which burned me several times. Each time I felt discomfort, I informed her. After this, the owner stepped in to finish my service. When I asked if the owner could get someone else to fix my French tip due to it being non-uniform and sloppy, the owner called herself the "master." At this point, my expectations were low, so I just asked for white gel polish. The technician then did another removal on my toes, but continued to burn me with the drill bit. Throughout this process, she frequently asked the owner for guidance, which became frustrating. By then, my friend had already finished her pedicure with Amy. Eventually, the owner told the technician to let my gel on my toes soak off. When Amy came out of the break room and saw me still in the chair, she stepped in and finished my service. Amy did a great job and gave me a french tip design because she was more experienced. However, the owner's customer service did not meet my expectations. At checkout, the owner received a call. I was waiting to ask if my digital tip would go directly to Amy before hitting the tip button. She assured me it would give her the tip right after I checked out, but since she was busy in the middle of a service, somebody else was waiting for service. She never physically gave the money to Amy in front of me as she promised she would. In addition, she was very snappy after she concluded her call, telling me to pay even though my card was already out and I was still trying to ask my question. When I requested a receipt, I was ignored. Please save yourself the frustration and avoid this salon. read more
