We came back later and she said there's not enough in stock so we have to order it and it can take a couple of days. I asked, why can't you borrow it from the Chester CVS because when I was a pharmacy technician we could borrow it from our sister stores. they said it takes a couple days ma'am will call you. being that I had a raging infection and I didn't want it to spread in my upper arm or wrist. I called the store manager to get through because otherwise you cannot.. I made the complaint that why can't they borrow it from another sister store or call my doctor and ask for a replacement of another sort. The pharmacist finally got on the phone., Live and said, we can give you smaller doses to replace the one big dose for your daily needs and I asked why didn't they tell me this yesterday? she said well I don't understand why they didn't offer that to you. I did not work yesterday. This is a matter of seriousness because I could lose my hand so within an hour they gave me smaller doses. The robotic system called, says your prescription is ready you can pick it up so I believed it yesterday and it was not complete because it was not in stock. Miscommunication is a very bad thing in this business. . I was a pharmacy technician and I know the seriousness and we would always borrow from another pharmacy or sister store there is no reason why any drug stores should be out of stock for a simple common antibiotic the pharmacist apologized and it was great to get through to speak to the pharmacist when I called the store manager. If you rely on them to call you back in a timely manner, you have to wait till the end of the day. I had a lot of pain, suffering, and swelling for the past two days without having the antibiotic. I find communication very poor you cannot get through to the pharmacist, directly or the staff you must leave a voicemail and I could not drive to go and personally I had to send somebody but they do take my insurance and the manager did get me to the pharmacy so at least I'm grateful for that. in the picture, you will see my swollen hand. I could not use it cannot drive cannot function. I needed the antibiotic as soon as possible Before it spread.

I didn't confront her or report her at the time because I don't like confrontation so I decided to leave this review instead. I will file a complaint with corporate regarding the situation because her behavior made me very uncomfortable as a Hispanic person myself, and she shouldn't be working there. She is an older white woman with blonde/gray hair and it happened on 2/19/26 at 8:43pm. I don't expect anything to be done about it because it's her word against mine, but what goes around comes around and justice will find its way to her. I find it unacceptable that people have to deal with that kind of nonsense this day and age, but here we are. I won't be coming to this location anymore.

When I called Monroe Pharmacy to complain, and asked for a reimbursement, they explained that the reason for this was that they do not get the manufacturer's discount that larger chain type pharmacies (CVS and Walgreens) get. I wish they would have been transparent all along and told me that I would be paying more with them as a result, $65 more. I cannot afford to pay more than my insurance copay. Also, I want to feel safe and trust the pharmacy I do business with. Now, I understand that it's important to shop around and make sure the pharmacy you choose is offering you the best price in accordance to your insurance and neighboring pharmacies. Going forward I will call my insurance to ask what the copay is for each medication to make sure I'm not overpaying. Very disappointed and truly felt taken

First off, my dad was allowed to pick up this medication for me since on August 4th 2025, it was filled- despite a request to fill it sooner because I was moving. Anyways, I called and spoke to a pharmacist where I said that I gave my dad permission to pick up my prescription in which the pharmacist accepted. My dad picked it up later that afternoon with no issues. Although they switched Manufactures again, and personally don't like when that happens because sometimes I have side effects from the fillers. Side note though is that one may have to switch pharmacies if they don't have the manufacturer one wants in stock. Currently just started the prescription that was picked up and no side effects as of yet, but it is still annoying especially If I react to a certain manufacturer. Also was inquring about delivery options, but because they are part of target, they don't offer delivery. Anyways. 5 stars for the communication at least. Overall, I highly recommend CVS Pharmacy because of the professional and nice staff, and the communication between the patient and pharmacy. For the most part, I was communicated about a manufacturer change, and treated with respect. Highly recommend. Read my reviews below for details!

Central Valley Pharmacy, aside from being a great Pharmacy, I find they also have a lot of everyday items, deodorant, toothpaste, Q-Tips, etc, priced competitively with any of the chain stores like Walgreens or CVS. They also have a Hallmark Birthday/Anniversary/Get Well Soon, etc cards & I find all of this extremely convenient. (Big family, always a Card to send.) The staff & Pharmacists are always friendly, courteous & prompt. I've never had to wait more than a few minutes to checkout. It's almost a pleasure, which is why I am giving them 5 Stars. We would like to recognize and sincerely thank our Pharmacist, Debbie Mason and District Pharmacy Manager, John Zoldak for going above and beyond in helping our 95-year-old mother when her prescription was denied due to the recall of her store-brand glucometer. When the issue could not initially be resolved, the District Pharmacy Manager personally stepped in, making multiple phone calls and advocating tirelessly on our mother's behalf until the prescription was ultimately approved. Their actions truly exemplify compassion, dedication, and patient-focused care. Our pharmacist Debbie has become far more than someone who simply fills prescriptions -- she has been a trusted healthcare partner for our family. We are extremely grateful for the commitment, kindness, and exceptional level of care they consistently show to loyal customers like our mom. In today's world, this kind of genuine compassion deserves to be recognized and celebrated. Thank you for making such a meaningful difference.

What a Crap Show! I…read moreusually love Walgreens since it's part of the NYC Duane Reade family of stores but boy was my visit to this place a complete disaster! First off let's be real, the bread and butter of these big box pharmacies is in fact the pharmacy. We don't come here for the butter but for our much needed drugs to heal those ailments we have. I came visited for a simple flu shot and arrived with 2 people in line at the pharmacy. Pharmacist was flustered, frustrated and even barked at two of us that were there for the flu shot that she's too busy and we may have to wait upwards of an hour! Whoa!! Why have us make an appointment in advance only to say you don't have the time for us!?! The line did start to get large from the point I arrived and when I finally got my flu shot I was a bit concerned the pharmacist was so frustrated with her job that she might inadvertently give me another Covid shot because someone arrived after me for exactly that. I had to ask, "I'm here for the flu shot, that's what you got in your hand right!?" If there's a mom and pop small pharmacy in the area I completely encourage supporting that local small business because these big box pharmacies while they have a place in our world sadly it can be a mixed experience.
