Due to my own idiocy, I had to call them on two separate occasions to ask them about a problem I was having with my car - and they gave me sound advice on how to fix the problem myself. The mechanic didn't try to convince me to come in, he correctly recognized the problem and helped me fix it over the phone. Most recently my alternator began acting up. I called them on a weekday in the afternoon to see if they could take a look at it. Robbi (sp), advised I come in sooner rather than later, and they would try and squeeze me in and do what they could. I dropped my car off at 3 that same day and they had it done the next day at 12, amidst all their other projects (they were clearly busy). Robbi is great about calling and updating with what is going on, and their prices are amazingly fair. Can't recommend enough!

It doesn't look like much from the outside. A smaller frontage with a nice lobby. The customer service and quality of work is what set Auto Pro apart from the other shops I've visited. Billy, AJ and Zain were all very courteous. Billy walked me through the repair process and diagnosis. They gave me a timeline. Updated me with text message photos of the work. And finally, offered me a ride when the car was done. I would say it was a good experience and am willing to recommend this shop if you're in Troy looking for a reliable mechanic.

He was very up front and honest about what the possible issue was and how much the repair might cost. He was very professional, and did not make me feel dumb or uncomfortable for asking questions. I would absolutely bring my car here for any future repair needs.

Brought it in just before 4/4:30 pm and asked them to take a look to see how bad the damage was. They said they would look at it tomorrow since it was nearing the end of the business day. Totally understood and left my keys with them to walk home. While I was still on the phone with the insurance adjuster by the CVS next door, he called me to tell me they fixed it. I couldn't believe it. I was so worried about how I was going to be able to rent a car to get to work the next day. It turns out it was a missing nut/bolt (don't know where it could've gone). They replaced it, were super honest and didn't charge me for the lone screw. Whatever that screw would've cost them now has made me a loyal and returning customer. Thank you again, totally saved the day!!

Mark and the TLC mechanics were able to identify the problem and source parts within a few hours of drop off, and I was back on the road the next day. Mark did a great job of keeping me informed on the progress of my repair, offered contacts on where to find a discounted rental if I needed, and answered all questions regarding possible alternatives to radiator replacement. When it comes to price - I did my due diligence and called around to see what a similar repair would cost elsewhere. TLC came in 35% lower than the dealership. I'm very happy with the service and will be returning to TLC for future car repairs.

I recently had my vehicle serviced here. While the repair itself was completed, I was very…read moredisappointed with the communication and customer service throughout the process. A straightforward question about arranging service turned into an unnecessarily confrontational and combative interaction on more than one occasion. I later contacted the owner to address my concerns. His response focused on the timing of the vehicle's arrival and the impact on the technicians, as well as the possibility that there had been a misunderstanding regarding the towing company's guidelines, which was not the case. My concerns about the way I was treated during the interaction were never addressed, nor was my subsequent follow-up acknowledged at all. Since that interaction, I have received two additional messages in less than 24 hours regarding pickup of my vehicle, both requesting a callback. This level of repeated contact was not part of my prior interactions with the shop and was completely unnecessary. One call providing the repair information, estimated cost, and pickup details should have been sufficient. Good automotive service isn't just about completing the repair. Customers should also be treated with courtesy and professionalism. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this business. If you value courtesy, professionalism, respect and restraint, then choose another shop.
