Clothes all over the ground, every single isle, while also being kicked around cleaning their filthy floors. Even more staff today and still a mess? Too many staff trying to look busy. Everything's kind of mushed together as far as all the different types of clothing. Anything somewhat decent way over priced. A very small glass Tupperware container $7.99? It's not a nice thrift store at all anymore. Hire staff that actually work. Huge line while three staff are teaching a new person to use the one other register? The comment from SA about my complaint, didn't match my concerns at all?? Weird as if they didn't read it at all? This place is an overpriced junk store. Why so many clothes on the ground every time I've gone. I'm always hoping they'll clean up a bit, but it just gets worse! It's for a good cause, but you'd make more of a profit if it wasn't so junky and dirty! This store has all new staff, but it's the worst it's ever been!

The employees never say anything in particular but they look beaten down and it's clear the management is either creating or tolerating some negative environment. The turnover for employees is fast! The housewares section is dismal, very overprice. I agree it seems the good things must be being sold to pickers on the side or sent elsewhere. This is a wealthy area yet what comes in is generally very worn or low quality. Organization has gone downhill and racks are stuffed in there now. No decor and it seems dirty. It's my last choice these days.

Happy Earth Day 2026!…read more If you're a data driven person like me, you know or will look up the tons of clothing that are polluting the planet. Solution? Resell or donate the things you no longer find useful, no longer want, and/or no longer bring you joy. The beauty of being a stylish woman? Someone out there wants the things I don't. They really REALLY do. Create space in your wardrobe and jewelry box, get some cash in your bank account, it's all good. Reaching out to The RealReal to start your consignment has never been easier. Once you contact a representative, they can send someone to you home, send a truck to do a front door pickup, or email you a label to ship the items you want to sell. So convenient! Once they receive the items, you will receive notification. They will have their experts review the items authenticity, photograph them, and list them. You will get a link to watch your items as they launch and sell. The cash lands in the account of your choice. Your beautiful things are now someone elses beautiful things with renewed positive energy. It's all so very wonderful and you saved those things from clogging the landfills and littering the planet. It's a win win, my favorite!

I purchased what I believed were authentic Christian Louboutins from The RealReal, but the heel…read moreheight felt off too high. Since I had missed the return window, I listed them on Facebook Marketplace--only for the listing to be immediately flagged as fake. That raised a red flag, so I took the shoes to a well-respected designer consignment store in San Francisco. Their authentication expert pointed out three separate signs that the shoes were not genuine. So, not real real after all. When I took the shoes to The RealReal in Larkspur, I was directed to a text-based chat with a "specialist" who told me that because the return window had passed, there was nothing they could do. I'm now out over $400 for two pairs ( one with a broken heel that they said I should have come in right away about). Extremely disappointed. A company that claims to care about luxury and sustainability should at the very least stand behind the authenticity of what it sells. This experience makes me seriously question their values.
