As another reviewer stated, the items are very well curated. Yes, it's consignment so it's catch as catch can, but I can't remember the last time I went into either a thrift or consignment store and bought more than one item, if I bought anything at all. With Lola's it's a different story, I ended up putting items back because I was having too much fun, but didn't want to buy too many things -I only have a finite amount of space after all. I will definitely be back anytime I happen to be in the Fairfax area, which unfortunately is not that often.

Cons: some things were priced appropriately, I got a Brandy Melville cardigan for $24. But some things were definitely overpriced - I'd say a lot of things. Maybe half the things. Ex: a forever 21 slip dress for $22. Probably cost that much (or less) brand new. I found the staff person to be very cool in temperature. Not icy cold, but far from warm or personable, and I did not feel super comfortable because of that. She was a bit cold toward both myself and another costumer. Just not inviting at all, and I'm not itching to go back. But would I stop in if I were in the area? Sure. Would I drive 20 minutes again? Prob not.

My appointment was on a day that the store was closed. My purses were taken at the door - I was not invited in to discuss which purses were wanted or the selling prices. I was not given an opportunity to withdraw the purses if I felt the selling prices were too low. I was never given an inventory of what they kept or the prices. Security isn't great - when I went to pickup the 3 purses that went unsold, only 2 were located - the third was apparently shoplifted. The owner was unsympathetic and unconcerned.
