There were only a few tables in the cafe so we did have to wait about 10 minutes for a seat. Servers were super kind and delivered all of our drinks and pastries to our table. We ended up going with the Oolong Creme Tea and a Hot Chocolate. Both drinks were great, I was a big fan of the tea. It comes with a huge tea bag, so you can have multiple cups if you want to get your moneys' worth! For the pastries, we had the Almond Croissant and one of the scones. The croissant was moist and flaky, but the scone was a bit dry (it's not as bad if you drink it with some tea though). This is a cute little cafe inside Hillcrest Mall! If you are looking for a quick snack this is a good place to grab a bite and snap some Instagram pics while you're at it!

Their whole menu is designed to dine in and take out as well where they have breads from Blackbird Baking Co. and other tasty treats you can purchase in store. I actually have stopped by Trinity Market twice. Once was with my friend where we casually wanted to check out the place and see the wines and the food offerings. We didn't sit down or purchase anything but the staff and owners were extremely friendly and even offered us to try a wine (we declined though since we had to go back to work!). I decided to go back the next day for a light lunch snack and it was nice because they remembered me from the day before. It was quite quiet during lunch hours (I didn't mind though), but the whole vibe of the place is extremely casual where you feel that you are welcomed with open arms. The hospitality was amazing and I enjoyed my pizza and wine (asked for a white wine recommendation, which went superbly with the pizza!). The staff take care of you where they embrace the neighbourhood and everyone who walks into their shop. I know I definitely will be back to try more food offerings and wine (you can get 3oz of wine which is perfect for a light drink during the day!). Even on a Sunday morning, there was a steady stream of customers throughout the hour we were there. Parking is somewhat limited since it's mostly street parking, though the GO station lot is a convenient short-term option if you're visiting on the weekend. The café itself is bright and airy, with high ceilings and a clean, minimalist aesthetic. There are a variety of seating options, though I found the regular tables and chairs much more comfortable than the high-top seating. One feature I really appreciated was the small children's play area, a thoughtful and unique addition that's perfect for families. At first, I thought this would make a great study spot since some tables have power outlets. However, I later noticed signs indicating the café is laptop-free. During our visit, someone opened their laptop, and an employee promptly (but very politely) asked them to put it away, so they do enforce the policy. The drink menu is relatively small but covers the café staples, with vanilla, caramel, and hazelnut syrup options. My mom ordered a 12 oz hazelnut latte with just one pump of syrup, and it was perfectly balanced--lightly sweet, fragrant, and topped with beautiful latte art. I chose the Tropical Soda, which featured passionfruit and dragon fruit. It was incredibly refreshing and one of my favorite drinks we've tried recently.
