Given the recent uptick in Google Trends for searching plants the past year, it's safe to say that it brings happiness to many as well. My favourite local plant shop in all of Toronto. Prices are lower than other independent shops around, and it's conveniently at the heart of downtown Toronto. For such a tiny shop, they bring in many plant varieties that even Canadian Tire next door doesn't stock. The owner is also sweet and accommodating and would give you tips on plant care if you need it. Gorgeous little shop that offers a wide selection of flowers and plants and other related items. I came here during a time that was pretty busy and had to wait in line while the customers got their prepared orders. I did not call in advance so I waited a bit longer. I told them that I wanted to purchase 2 bouquets for X amount and they worked on it right away. The bouquets came out looking beautifully and it quite a struggle bringing it home on the TTC because they were so big haha. Service was good despite them being super busy. They say that April showers bring May flowers, but no one mentioned Tiny Flowers! I was in the area looking for a house warming gift and decided a house plant might be the perfect piece. On the hunt for a florist, I discovered this shop. I wasn't sure if they would have actual house plants but you'll be pleasantly surprised at the selection here. She has just about everything. It took a few minutes for me to identify what I wanted and she helped me pick out a pot for it. Customer service is spot on. She is super helpful and attentive. They have a variety of items such as house plants, bouquets, arrangements, succulents, and individual flowers. The price also isn't bad at all. This unique cactus was $12.99 and the pot for around $10, which you may have been able to find for cheaper but I was tight on time and I liked the look of it. I had to leave it outside (during the summer) for them to die/dry out because there were so many bugs in it. i was very disappointed and contacted the store about this. I had the opportunity to purchase two plants among a variety of other beautiful choices: one Ceropegia which is also known as the String of Hearts and an aloe succulent which, from a quick google search, might be 'the Twilight Zone.' They were both reasonably priced and the service was great. I believe we spoke to the owner and she gave me advice to care for both plants. I'm going to give this four stars because the lady was so sweet. I ordered a corsage from her and she gave her own suggestions on what would look best, i felt like appreciated as a customer and that she made an effort to connect with me and understand what im looking for. Always gave service with a smile. Though i got the corsage for a great price (15$) it didnt come out as i expected. It was beautiful thats for sure and very stable and well made. It just threw me off a little because it was basically a boutonnière attacked to a wristband rather than your traditional bunch of flowers that hide all the attachments. There's nothing wrong with the corsage but I recommend asking for pictures before agreeing on the order. Just to be sure. read more

I wish I could give this place six stars because the owner lady definitely saved my day! I bought a bouquet from another florist in the city and it was wrapped in the most careless and clumsy way. The two options I had were either brown kraft paper or green plastic paper. Needless to say, both didn't turn out well at all. She was able to offer me a better per unit price than anyone else in the GTA (and I spoke with almost 20 florists!), and the variety she had available was, by far, the best! I uploaded a picture of the trays I took home, however, it does not reflect her entire supply as there were other options to choose from. Be sure to call up Tiny Flower if there is any special or bulk order you're looking to do for any upcoming event! I was happy to drive into the city just for my order because of the quality and price, and because Helen is just so nice, accommodating and easy to communicate with. My son and girlfriend were out of town for my birthday so they had flowers sent to me. Tiny's was the nearest shop when they looked on-line. They were told that the arrangement would arrive before 1pm, well it didn't arrive until after 4pm, no big deal, I mean they did arrive the day they were supposed to. Well, the arrangement looked absolutely nothing like the picture that was on the website, I mean ABSOLUTELY NOTHING LIKE IT!! I had called to let Tiny's know about it and her immediate reaction was to blame 1800Flowers, saying that they had sent the supplies for the arrangement but had put them outside and they were all dried out and could not be used. She had said that she needed to go to the store and buy new flowers to make the arrangement. Well, I'm not sure where she went to buy these extra flowers but there were barely any flowers in the arrangement at all, it was mostly greens and the flowers that were in it were already drooping and dying. When I started to say that good money was spent on this and it is very sad looking, her solution was "If you're not happy with it we'll come pick it back up and issue your son a full refund". I said yes to that considering she didn't want to hear anything I had to say. They had called me before coming to pick up the arrangement, to make sure that I was home. I had asked, "did you issue the refund and was it for the full amount like you had said?" She had told me that she couldn't discuss that with me because that is personal credit card information. Um, ok, I wasn't asking about the credit card, I was making sure that my son was getting his money back. Well, turns out that they DID NOT issue a full refund. They refunded the amount of the arrangement but not the delivery fee and some supposed 1800Flowers fee (by the way, I called 1800Flowers and they said that they do not charge any such fees). So, Tiny took her dead, greenery of an arrangement back and kept $20 from my son. Not exactly sure what she's going to do with the arrangement that they left at my house for 2 days before picking it up, but if someone gets a purple rose arrangement that is dead, sorry for you. **Never once was foul language used nor any yelling. It's ashame when a business needs to lie. It's even more ashame when one can't just admit that they did a very poor job. Also, no business expect for this one keeps the tax on a return and Tiny's webpage states a $10 delivery fee but yet my son was chaged $12.99 pus an additional $2 service fee** This is in response to Tiny's bogus reply on Google reviews. In the picture, the top arrangement is what was ordered compared to the bottom arrangement which is what was actually received. read more

At one point when I had recently been discharged from the hospital, I stopped by this shop to buy some fresh flowers for my recovery. The shop is small but really cute and has a wide selection of flowers and plants for you to choose from. The prices are totally reasonable for the quantity and quality of flowers you buy. Service here is great too; the lady at the counter is always very kind and knowledgable. From then on, I stopped by here every once in a while whenever I had time after doctor's appointments to get some fresh flowers for my house. Always great to support a local business. I loved this little place so much that I finally decided to review it. Came in here first time about 8 mons ago to get an easy pothos for my place. I didn't have much hope as any plants I touched had been killed thus far. Surprisingly this pothos held up through the winter and is now growing rapidly, splitting new leaves every week. I came back recently to get a pilea which has been so popular in the plant world lately and the lady in the shop assured me that it was very easy to take care of. Had mine for a month now and it's growing every day. The lady running the place is its best kept secret. I wanted to like this place because they had good reviews and seemed reasonable. I went on yelp and clicked on their website. It did not work. So I had to call in to make an order. Which is difficult to do when you do not see the flower arrangement and cost online. They have instagram and the pictures on yelp. I thought the lady on the phone seemed helpful and pleasant. I tried to direct her to the pictures on yelp which was difficult and she named off prices. I gave her an estimate of how much I wanted the flowers to cost all together. I do not know if it was miscommunication but I stressed it a couple times. I emailed her the words for the note for the flowers and the address. I also asked her to send a receipt and picture of the flower arrangement. After I sent her the email with the words and address and gave her my credit card number that was it. And I checked my bill and it was about 20$ more than the top of the range that I told her. I emailed her a couple days after delivery asking for the receipt at least (since they did not take a pic of the arrangement to send me) and its been over a week with no response. Very disappointed. Also, I wanted it to be in a vase since the person I was sending it to was elderly, even just a small vase. The elderly person I sent it to ended up showing me a picture of the flowers and I was wondering why it was a larger vase and it looks like it was a bouquet that was just placed in a vase of water, than an arrangement in a small vase with foam. Who knows if that vase was the persons vase or from the shop. Be weary and cautious, especially when calling in to give your credit card number, they just have free range on what they want to do. Its better to order from a working website so you know exactly the cost and how it would look like. read more

Went in there looking for some flowers for my mother. the owner helped me pick a beautiful bouquet and my mother loved it. the owner was wonderful and understood the price range I was going for and they have a very decent amount of flowers to choose from. She took her time and made sure that the bouquet was beautiful. They also have a large selection of vases but I didn't choose to get one that day. Next time I go in to tiny flowers I think I'll pick up some of the succulents that I saw there because they had a very large selection of succulents. read more
