I hopped in for the first time and was amazed at how big their selection of clothes is. Lots of clothes, but it doesn't feel cluttered. I spent a good amount of time perusing the space and was in awe of not only the selection of clothes, but the jewelry. I went in with the intention of maybe buying one item, and came out with two that I couldn't leave behind. I got linen pants with printed flowers and a very high quality fitted black skirt. Honestly, If I had more disposable income I would no doubt shop here more. Lots of unique, quality items. read more

MY boutique in OC because they have so many clothes, gifts and home decor. I stumbled in on a Customer Appreciation Day where they had appetizers, drinks, live music, giveaways and discounts, all to show appreciation to their customers. This establishment has very unique and beautiful, good quality, clothing and accessories. As a woman of color, I went in and was treated with the same respect as anybody else. The person I spoke to was very kind to me and helpful. . I am seeing a lot of comments about racism and I did not experience the same. That is such a bummer that they did. The store is very accessible with private free parking. It's located in the cute old town Tustin area. The clothes are excellent quality and you won't get better service anywhere else! The ladies that work there are very knowledgeable on trends and give each customer a one on one experience. *I'm more of a browser and they will also let you just shop around as well. I also love that they will wrap gifts if you're shopping for someone else. The prices are more like Nordstroms or Macy's but that would be the case with higher quality items. If I could give this shop a zero, I would. It's absolutely disgusting how they racially profile those with darker skin tones or different races. I came here with my friends and was immediately disappointed and uncomfortable. The way they treated us was as if we were animals. I was immediately being stared at. If you're not blonde, don't even waste your time. Went here to shop @ this beautiful store as well as admire the gorgeous aesthetic. Was there 25 mins admiring garments, candles & fabrics as a woman who seemed to be the owner gave me a feeling as if I was not welcome in her store. I attempted to take a photo of a jacket that I adored to show my wife to see if she'd wear it. I was told I cannot take photos there. "Ok no problem. Understood." "Am I allowed to scan the promotional barcode on the tag to learn more about the brand, artist or sizing charts?" A snappy, "No, what are you doing?" Was her reply. So basically all I was "helped with or told" were things that I'm not allowed to do in your store and not one person is going to ask if I have any questions about anything? There's a sign as soon as you walk in that says "blondes only" which should have been my first red flag, as I am a 42 year old black man with purple and blue color locs in my hair. Uncomfortable the entire time there but wasn't going to let their negative energy effect my quest for inspiration and positive energy. On a brighter note, Shout out to the beautiful young woman who I believe works in the spa area of the store. As soon as she came from the back, she sat, offered a delightful smile and asked if she could help me or if I had any questions about anything. She even went as far as suggesting that I take a photo of a garments tag to obtain the information on the artist I was inspired by. Hmmm. I told her that I was told I'm not allowed to do so and proceeded to thank her for being such a wonderful associate and gave her a brief rundown of my experience there. She apologized for me "feeling this way" which was nice but i could tell she knew the deal. She was a peson of color so maybe she could relate. While doing this I noticed the store clerk get quite defensive behind my statement. I politely thanked her as well but at that point it was too late. I had pretty much stuck around to see how long it would take for someone to speak to me and decided that I would give my honest opinion to the 1st person who offered to assist me. I had rack selected roughly about $650-$800 in merchandise that I was considering purchasing. An assortment of awesome hand painted denim jackets, a few candles and sweaters for the fall. After that experience, I walked out but was still tempted by the magical scent of the blueberry candles. I walked back in and then it hit me, " Now Glenn,do you really want to spend your hard earned dollars at a retailer who isn't interested in having you as a customer or promoter of their business?" My pride along with the thought of my ancestors rolling in their graves wouldn't allow me to spend one dollar there so I put my candle back, thanked the awesome spa lady and defensive clerk and went on about my business. I really wanted those jackets, sweaters and candles but I'd much rather go to a different retailer who seems more appreciative of my black dollars. Very rude and racist customer service. I was thinking of buying a candle. I was told to leave even though I didn't even do anything. When I asked why, I wasn't given a reason. The only reason I can think of is racism, classist and ableism as I also have a broken front tooth. Thank God I didn't support these racist business owners with my money. Horrible establishment. My boyfriend, friends, and I all went in to look around. immediately, all of the employees, white blond, old women, followed us around condescendingly. They shot us cold looks and disgusted faces, exchanging judgy looks amongst themselves. We did nothing to upset them, but they treated us like we were criminals, presumably due to racism/classism. They followed us out the door, checked all the places we went to make sure we didn't steal anything, and even after we left the building, they stood by the door watching and staring at us. Even despite this, the clothes are pretentious and hideous too, like the people. 0/10. disgusting inexcusable behavior. looking at past reviews it's clear this has always been a problem. they reply with shallow apologies and excuses, but it's clear they don't care or bother to better themselves. stuck up and rude people. do not go here. read more

This is an incredible Rodeo Drive style boutique for exceptional women's clothes and the nicest sales team I've ever encountered! These are definitely one of a kind items that no one else will be wearing at the same event. Each outfit is so unique and stylish. Maria the owner couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating to my large group of gals. I brought my theater group of 35 of us, and we all enjoyed the fabulous fashion show on Saturday night with models, great food and special cocktails, it was the loveliest experience we could have imagined. Hope to be back really soon for shopping, the stylish sheer European like ponchos were just gorgeous. I had the most delightful experience today walking in to the BLONDIES BOUTIQUE! Located in the beautiful Old Tustin,I was amazed just about the exterior of the store. Walking in thru the unique doors,I was welcomed by beautiful Maria and thrilled with the entire store. From the unique clothes ,shoes, jewelry, home decoration to the music and the fragrance I had the most impressive experience!!! I was not push to buy anything (which I appreciated),on the contrary, Maria took her time to show me around and take me to the yoga studio. I needed several outfits for a beach wedding. After looking all over including lots of places online, I found 4 unique, beautiful outfits at Blondie's. They look designer at a reasonable price for their quality. Their buyer has a great eye. Maria really listened to what I needed and came up with so many excellent options. Enjoyed this store in the past, so I returned last Friday looking for a birthday gift. Two sales clerks and a customer were chatting, none wearing a mask. I browsed the small left area, anticipating they would don the required covering: Not so. When I stated they were not safely masked, the gal behind the counter said "oh, sorry" ...without reaching for one. Irresponsible. Lost my business. I'm disappointed with my experience...the style of clothing is fashionable but overpriced for labels nobody has heard of. The quality of the clothing definitely does not measure up to the high price. On top of that, one of the staff members (the older tall blonde woman with thin build) made me feel unwelcome- it seemed like she assumed I wasn't going to buy anything (I was actually interested in some of their non-clothing items) Her comment to me was rude.
