This store is soooo disappointing. The customer service is atrocious. When we were walking around…read morethe store, we noticed that they were manually unlocking the door to let customers in and out. This is a fire code violation. When we went to ask the man at the door about why they were manually unlocking the door, he replied, "Insurance, we have jewelry." When we went to ask about whether that's legal, he dismissed us by saying, "Have a good day, ma'am." Crazy choice considering the doors have to legally be unlocked. Also noticed that my sister and I were the only two not to be greeted at the jewelry cases. I wouldn't waste my time here. Go somewhere else. Hopefully it's just this location.

With the demise of Big Lots and Rite Aid, my two favorite stores for cheap holiday decor, HomeGoods…read moreand Dollar Tree have replaced them, sometimes for the better, and sometimes for the worse. The holiday selection at HomeGoods is far superior to almost anything around. It's a mix of Big Lots, Rite Aid, Michaels, and Macy's. The variety is impressive. My only issue is with such a small store, the holiday's usually take over a good 1/3 or even 1/2 the store making regular everyday things a little harder to find. What I do love is the name brands they carry. Last Christmas, the had some Lenox dishes. And while they are less expensive, a full set can still run a hundred or so dollars, but it's better than the 3-4 hundred at Macy's. The store still feels a big junky and disjointed. Not as bad as Goodwill, but sections can feel close. You also have to look carefully at what you're buying. We were looking for a laundry basket, and it took a while to find one that wasn't damaged. And not everything is cheaper. We found a better and less expensive garbage can at Costco, so do you price comparisons. The people that work there are nice enough. I haven't had to ask anyone of the floor for help, the checkers do take the time to wrap what you're buying if you ask them. And on a plus side, they actually have restrooms! This is good since the mall no longer exists.

Since we have two members within our household, that's two bottles a month! I decided to host my own wine tasting at home with those wine and Home Goods in city of Orange definitely made my life much easier by carrying all kinds of beautiful drink ware and home decor for me to entertain my guests. The prices at Home Goods are always great to begin with, and since tax is lower in Orange County than in LA County, I save even MORE money when I shop here. The cashiers here were very efficient and the lady helping me took her time wrapping all my ceramic plates and wine glasses. They also have REALLY cute reusable bags there, which is a HUGE plus for me because I collect all their bags! I can't wait to come back here the next time I am in the area.

The Duchess used to be a spot in Old Towne Orange that created a unique experience from items you…read morecan't find elsewhere. It has sadly turned into overconsumption. The design aspect is lacking and feels like little to no thought put into the process like it used to be. Every item in this store is something you can find on Amazon or the retailer website and find it for cheaper. There is also one lady that works here with brown hair that is always in the main home, she is consistently rude and unwelcoming. She comes across as dismissive and acts like customers are an inconvenience. Really used to love The Duchess on Cambridge before the new ownership, tried to give it multiple attempts with the new ownership hoping they would try to keep the business true to the name but unfortunately has fallen through.

I honestly feel this HG has one of the BEST selections and for some reason, with the lowest prices! I expected to pay over $160 at the register but was pleasantly surprised all my items only came out to be $85!!!!! Both the interior and exterior probably need some renovation, and from reading some of these reviews, their customer service evidently needs some improvements, however, I feel like I have found my favorite HG locations. Cake stand for $7.99? Spice jar for $4.99? Appetizer dishes at $9.99/4? Their infamous giant reusable shopping bags of designs I haven't seen elsewhere for $0.99? All of these and other items are now in my back trunk. :) Today was truly a great day!

After a week of no communication or confirmation I called to check status. I was informed the owner felt I didn't pay enough for shipping on their website and they jammed me up for another $30-$50 in shipping before they would actually send the items. We finally received them and they are trash. They are not made out walnut as was advertised, Its some cheap wood with a terrible stain job and actual finger prints all throughout the finish. They are not even spheres; they are completely misshapen. Steer clear of these scam artists!

First we called the Norco location, but they were not that interested in looking beyond what was on the floor. We understood. Then we thought of calling the Anaheim Hills location and had a totally different experience entirely. We were fortunate to get Cathy/Kathy on the phone and she looked on the floor first, but then took the extra step to climb on a ladder to find exactly what we were looking for, all while we waited on the phone. They had a few of them in a box stacked up high, and she just made it happen for us. We totally appreciated her taking the extra step and putting them on hold for us. We drove over to the store, they were waiting in a cart for us, we ended up spending a few hundred dollars at this location because of her willingness to be helpful and take the extra step.
