Good place to grab a beer and quick bite while waiting on the ferry. The clam chowder was good and the clam cakes were yummy!

A beautiful porch that surrounds the hotel. Seated immediately was a gift from the big man upstairs. They were definitely busy. But, we managed to get a seat for our 5 people. We were seated outside in the back of the porch. There was a lot of room to move around. Once seated we viewed the menu. We all opted for a few things. The street corn Quesadilla, lobster bisque, ancient grains bowl, Chicken Caesar Wrap. We opted for no desert and went elsewhere to spread the wealth. The food was good. They do what they can we the resources they have. It can't be easy with the way they have to get supplies in and out, and keeping things fresh. Overall everything was good. No complaints if you keep that in mind. The wait staff was ok. I think they maybe have been overwhelmed, which in turn our waiter went "missing" to the point where we had to ask someone for something and it turned out to be the manager. Otherwise everything was ok.

With as busy as they are, they don't have an enormous menu and I feel that it's better that way. I'm not sure how often they change the menu as the online page showed slightly different meals. The wait staff are plentiful and it's rather amazing how well they keep up. The way my family and I were treated upon arrival was extremely disappointing. The male host was unnecessarily disrespectful and unwelcoming from the moment we walked in, despite us being polite and having every intention of dining there. After getting a reservation online and returning, the female host/manager was also a little rude and dismissive toward us at first. That only added to the uncomfortable atmosphere we felt. Even the bartenders didn't acknowledge us. Staff would catch eye contact with us and just keep going. Thankfully, the experience improved once we were seated. Our waiter (Cam) was genuinely kind, professional, and attentive throughout the meal, and the food itself was excellent. The chefs clearly know what they're doing, because every dish was prepared beautifully and tasted amazing. It's unfortunate that such strong food and service from the waitstaff are overshadowed by the poor attitude at the front of the restaurant. A little basic respect and hospitality toward guests would make a huge difference. Growing up in the hospitality service (restaurant) then working in retail to aviation. We're all taught from the beginning. A person walks in, greet them with a smile and let them know you'll be with them shortly. Not ignore them then to be slightly rude. We all understand being busy. But don't take it out on the customers. Especially when they didn't cause your stress. I'm giving them a high score because Cam and the chefs were amazing. Even the chefs said goodnight to us and thanked us.

Great service, yummy food, good drink menu, photos of cute dogs on the wall... what more could you want after a long day at the beach? The tuna nachos were to die for. They definitely had some kick! The bread basket with the garlic butter was a nice touch. I loved my salmon and the bite I took of my partner's burger was juicy and delicious. The thick seasoned fries with the burger were also great. Unfortunately we filled up on everything and didn't save room for dessert, but we will definitely have dessert next time.

I updated for extra lobster. Sooo good. Now the service. Personable and attentive. Our waitress was genuinely pleasant. I'm sorry I forget her name. She's tall with dark hair and you will know it's her from welcoming smile. I'm not a drinker and she had the bartender make me the best margarita mocktail, after I told her to surprised me. The reason for the 5 stars is we came back the next day for lunch and they were busier and the service and the food was the same. True consistency. We usually come in the summer. I have my fav restaurants on the island. They are is now in my rotation. See you there.

We had the clam chowder, crab cake sandwiches, and fish sandwich. The clam chowder was good and definitely homemade, this was the only good dish of our meal. The crab cake sandwiches didn't taste like crab at all and were extremely mushy. It seemed like it was all just breading or filler, but we didn't get any crab meat in the sandwiches. The fish sandwich also lacked flavor and was mushy as well. This was an extremely disappointing meal. We will find another restaurant to go to while we are here.
