I know it's Yemen coffee but I was craving matcha! I'm most definitely going to try their signature coffees and teas based from Yemen next time I'm back here. The mango and strawberry matcha were crafted really well. I loved how they made it. It was not sweet at all and the mango and strawberry syrups tasted really good. I just had to mix the sauces with the matcha. It was just a hint of the fruity taste mixed in with the matcha. I loved how they gave me a signature Mokamo Coffee House paper cup holder that holds a maximum of 2 cups. It was very pretty to carry around. I didn't get food this time around. There were many desserts in their fridge display. They had Algerian Cigars, Algerian baklava, Heart of the Almond, Pistachio Baklava, and Messamen Honey or Cream Cheese, which were very unique to the store that caught my eye. I would try these when I come back next time. They were on the top shelf of the fridge display. All the other desserts inside the fridge were generic pastries like croissants, muffins, and cookies. The whole place was very quiet and clean with chilled air from the central air. I loved how it was very cool and clean, which was a good environment for remote work from the office. There were many outlets for charging. The chairs were sofa chairs with thick cushion for comfort. The tables were round and made out of brown wood. It was very luxurious. There was a bathroom in the middle. Condiments were on the shelves like napkins, straws, small plastic cups, and utensils. I would definitely come back next time for the Algerian desserts. Also this place is somewhat close to my home by feet so I can come back anytime.

The space itself is really cute, with the cafe in the front and then the charm area and other crafting areas in the back. They have a bulletin board that had upcoming events and workshops, and the whole venue was very whimsical. I ordered the crumbs cupcake matcha and it was delicious--definitely on the sweeter side but very yummy. The service was good and I was able to enjoy my matcha at one of the tables that they had. I would definitely come back to try more of their menu as well as do one of their crafting workshops.

Very comparable to the butterfly pea flower matcha at chamberlain coffee which I like a lot, but this one is less sweet so honestly even better! some notes: - no computers on Saturdays and maybe some other days - lots of seating - does have board games you can play though - also has really yummy looking Chinese pastries - will be going back for a pastry, games, and their coffee!

Not something that'd wake me up but something great for an afternoon fun drink rating: 4.8/5 - immediately one of my favorite cafe in brooklyn because it is genuinely so hard to find places like this in this area, where everything is delicious and made with quality, in a curated space designed with care and attention to detail - prices for the pastries were shockingly good - super spacious with lots of tables and seats! Could easily get packed but table turnover was quick - it's got two different spaces; the one in the front is more cozy and bright while the one in the back is darker with neon lights and retro vibes, almost as if it's a space for mahjong nights - definitely coming back soon! The owner is super nice and has the best recs for you if you're unsure of what to get. It's a smaller space, with two tables but I'll definitely come back to dine in! Drinks: So far I've tried their pandan matcha latte, ube latte and strawberry matcha latte. All their drinks are AMAZING and the Asian inspired flavors pairs nicely with the drink bases. They source their coffee beans right from NYC and you can taste the quality. The stars of the menu are their fusion flavored small bites: The scallion pao de queijos are the best on the go cheesy snack and have this addicting mochi/chewy like texture. Their joelho, a Brazilian savory pastry stuffed with ham and cheese, pairs perfectly with their homemade spicy chili oil. You definitely have to try it with the sauce!! Lastly, I had their ube pudim which is by far my favorite menu item! The pudim has a creamy texture, almost like a richer flan, and the ube isn't overly sweet. If I could only recommend one thing, it would be this!
