    I like to venture out and try new nail salons and this place was apparently bookmarked for quite some time. Unfortunately I was let down. I wanted to like this place so badly but so many things just let me down to the point, I had to remove this page from my bookmarks/places to go. Here are my pros and cons Pros - I was greeted coming in and leaving - I absolutely love my color choice - the tech cleaned up my cuticles so nicely Cons here's where it kinda gets unsettling - I made an appointment over the phone, but the person I made my appt with, sounded soulless. - I am approached by my tech and guided to where I would be seated, but never was actually greeted. I never knew her name. The only thing she actually asked me was "is this your first time here?" And I answered yes. After that it kinda just didn't feel so... first experience like? I don't even know how to explain it. - I never was offered a drink throughout the one hour service (I normally don't get one, but it would have been nice to have been offered one) since everyone around me had one. - After the service was one done or so I thought, my tech put in the cuticle polish at the end, and asked me to wash my hands. So I did. After drying my hands, my nails immediately smudged. I don't think I've ever ever had this problem before. Normally when I get dip at other places, we wait for them to dry and then touch to see if it is hard and dry, then wash. The usual. But this strange instance baffled me. We even used the mini fan to expedite the drying process. Utterly confused. 3 fingers were smudged so she buffed and repainted with the top coat, and then had to use the UV light. So.... why wasn't the light used the first time? I'm a little upset with how the process was done. Nothing was rushed but the service itself was a let down. Even for a first time experience. Other than that, tons of compliments on my color choice and cuticles look great.

    Came here on a weekday for a pedicure. They were prompt - started and ended on time. They have a variety of drinks available and my technician was friendly and competent. The salon is simple and down-to-earth. Only gripe is that there are 2 swatch books, and I had the wrong color applied initially b/c the same number was a different color in each of the books. It'd be helpful if they were labelled.

    I took a sick day and hit Bliss Day Spa. I was ready to relax and get pampered before my busy month really begins. I spent a whole 5 hours at the spa, and although it was the longest Mani/Pedi experience I've ever had, I can say my plans of a "Spa Day" were completely, and overly satisfied. Simoney was absolutely impeccable in her work - She did not miss a single thing. Every shape, line, and detail is P.E.R.F.E.C.T. She rocked my mani world, and I'll definitely be back for more! Thank you, Bliss Day Spa for treating me!

    I would like to say the staff was lovely and everyone was super nice. I went in at 3:45 for a full set ombré and pedicure i was extremely patient and didn't get out until 7:15 because they were short staffed. What upset me was how much i was charged for my nails. $75 for a full set, $10 for two powder ombré, $10 for shape, $5 length(which was way longer than I wanted), and $5 top coat??!!! I mean I was charged for top coat that's ridiculous. So my full set was $105 I was astonished. You can see in one of the photos she used to different nails so my pinky and point finger looked fine but my middle and ring finger was curvy. I'm just really disappointed if I'm going to pay over $100 for nails they should be something spectacular. Very unfortunate. (What I asked for)

    I've been here once before to get dip and nail art, super good job. Back again to have dip nail set removed, polish. Vickie did a good job with all of that On the spot Pedi added and Lucy did a great job there too ! Both of them constantly ask me how I was doing throughout if anything needed to be changed. Definitely my go-to nail place from here on forward. Can't wait to return.

    What I wanted but did not get after three hours

    I don't like posting negative reviews but I think this warrants it. I went in with powered dipped nails that I wanted removed for a fresh set plus a a pedicure. I will say I didn't have an appointment and would have left if told me to. Anyway, I get a seat at the manicure bar and then spend THREE HOURS from slowest nail removal and application I've ever received. I was there from noon to three. Hour one was just removing my nails. At first I was patient because I though she was trying to make sure my nail bed wasn't damage but well over hour two she was still putting on the tips. I had a movie and headphones to distract myself but it was getting bad. The manicure seats for clients are not meant for long term sitting for people, large folks, or those who have sciatica. I'm a larger person who I don't expect to feel comfortable all the time but I had to stand up after the first hour because could feel pain shooting down my hips and legs from the seats. I don't think the manicurist was lazy. I could see her working slowly trying to get it right. I just think she's inexperienced and more disappointed that other manicurists didn't step in to check after hour. I saw multiple other clients come in and go during my time and I don't remember of them stepping in. It's a small salon. I know they saw me there wincing. Only the receptionist checked in who couldn't advise the manicurist. Finally after three hours had a nail color I didn't ask for with the promise that the top could would be what I want and nowhere near the progress of any other salon. I paid for my nails as they were plus tip. My nails have a shine while others are dull. The edges near the cuticle are chipped and uneven. 8 days later my nails are already popping off. 3 hours and 60 dollars later for nails I looked like I glued on myself. All in all, I can't recommend this place.

    The Amazing Jenny - she takes her time and gives the best pedi's ever. Seriously. Everyone here is so polite and friendly. Great location, too! Edit - they have added massage chairs!! Yippee!!

    Made a dip appointment based on the reviews and I'm so glad I did! Jenny was my nail tech and she did an amazing job with my manicure. She took her time and was very gentle. She assisted me in picking a color that I had in mind, which was perfect! I will be back!

    Bad business. I already explained to her I wasn't comfortable coming back because the nail techs are inexperienced and unprofessional.

    Beware: extremely inexperienced and unprofessional staff. I made an appointment for 6:15 and when I arrived the woman at the front seemed surprised I was there. They say me down but nobody did my nails until 6:45. My pedicure and manicure were done separately, meaning I was there until 8:30, while someone who came in after me had 2 nail techs working on her and was out before me. Both nail techs were very sweet, but just like the other recent reviews, very inexperienced. For such an expensive pedicure ($37), I was incredibly disappointed. She left my legs wet and cold, didn't dry them off after rinsing them and draining the water. She only scrubbed the heels of my feet for about 30 seconds for callous removal and didn't touch anywhere else on my foot. No cuticle treatment of any kind, no cleaning under nails. It was honestly the worst pedicure I've ever had, but she didn't speak any English and a few other staff there were talking down to her so I didn't want to complain. My nails looked fine, she cut one shorter than all the others (eh, whatever). But then the NEXT day 2 of them chipped, and 3 days later one broke off completely. I figured that would happen as she seemed inexperienced too. When I was finally leaving, multiple staff were arguing about tickets and who got what service. It was an incredibly awkward and uncomfortable experience. The real kicker is I reached out to the business for a refund. I sent pictures and explained my above experience. She offered for me to come back, but I explained I do not feel comfortable going back to this salon as I don't trust the nail techs are experienced enough and the whole experience was uncomfortable. I asked for a refund and she stopped responding to me immediately. I sent 2 messages requesting a response and finally she answered to say that they do not offer refunds. Very bad business. Will never be back and will warn others of my experience here.

    Stay away for now New ownership guess they are still growing. Lacks professionalism and skill. Stay away for now and allow them time to grow. I'll check back in a few months to see if they have made progress

    Do they use sanitary plastic liners in the pedicure bowl?

    We don't. But our pedicure bowl is stainless steel with no whirlpool jets, making it much more sanitary than traditional jetted fiberglass bowls. We clean them with antibacterial soap and hospital grade disinfectant after every pedicure.

    Would my husband feel comfortable coming in for a pedicure?

    Absolutely, he'd probably love it more than you. Lol

This had never been an issue before. 2 years later I'm still dealing with the dark scarring from them. When I reflect upon my experience here, I initially dismissed how unsanitary the room was but I feel it's worth mentioning now. I had seen all the good reviews before going, and dismissed it while I was there, and I was in and out so quickly and I was mostly hairless after, so at FIRST I was like ok well she did a good job and it was fast. However the ingrowns nightmare came for me soon after despite me doing what I always do to prevent it, and years later I'm still embarrassed by the scars it left.

It was a little hard to find but her daughter guided me there on the phone while I was lost. Initially it was a little off putting as I thought they might not be as sanitary because the wax was dark colored. I later found out she doesn't use wax but sugar. This process reduces irritation to the skin & is less painful. In my 35 years of life, I have only been waxed once when I was 19 for a pool party. I vowed never to do it again because of all the pain & skin irritation I experienced afterwards. There was minimal pain & absolutely no skin issues after this procedures. I was in & out in less than 20mins. Highly recommend, especially for avid waxers. ENTER FREELY, they've been Approved:)
