Our service was sub-par, but I understand it was almost 8, and the service providers wanted to leave, I'm sure. Moreover, we were honestly hungry and wanted to eat. I've eaten there before and never had an issue. I specifically asked about the oysters and how much? How many come in an order? and so on. He proceeded to quote me a price that was not on the menu, and it was not listed. I asked about substitutions, and he said sure we can do that. Once the bill arrived, I was totally lost. Let me preface by saying I had no problem paying the bill and paid my bill. What I expressed to the server and the manager was that, as a customer, I have every right to know exactly what I am paying for and how much. The manager stated that, "Oysters are expensive and change in pricing." I agreed and stated, "That's fine, but I like to know exactly what I am paying for!" I expressed the poor business practice as it removes the customer's choice to choose. But I realized that I was another "face" and it really didn't mean anything. I honestly love seafood and love my hometown, but I mean, I would never, and I mean never, visit this establishment again.
