This is the gem of the area if you're looking for crawfish. Some of the best you'll find! It's a no nonsense shop. Plenty of parking, but seating is tight. Be ready to wait if you show up at a busy time. They could definitely fit some more outside if they wanted. Food Crawfish are hands down what it's about. One can choose how much they want; the spice level - mild, medium, spicy; the sauces you would like - red, pink, melted butter. Choose how many corn, potato, or sausage you would prefer. The shrimp are good, though a bit more work as they are not deveined prior to boil. I will add though that the spice level seems to be more about how much is out on the outside rather than what they are cooked in. Still great crawfish though! Drinks Soft drinks and water are available. BYOB so bring what you want! Service Phenomenal service, very friendly and family oriented. They will welcome new comers and frequenters all the same. I came in Sunday the 17th for Easter and YALL the crawfish were fantastic. They were huge, fatty, and seasoned perfectly. I got 4lbs mild with corn potatoes and pink sauce. We decided we were taking our crawfish game seriously this year and when I heard about Juju's I just knew we had to take the three and a half hour drive out to try it! Every place in Austin way over charges for crawfish by the pound and it's sad because they can't even hold a candle to actual good crawfish. Juju's does not have this problem. We showed up shortly after opening on a Sunday and were delighted to find $6.59/lb crawfish with three spice levels to choose from. We always choose spicy because even "spicy" in Austin never actually tastes spicy. Fortunately Juju's knows how to do it! We added on three sausages as well not knowing how big they were, but they were so delicious they definitely got eaten. The crawfish were HUGE, and not like they piled two big ones on top of a bunch of babies, no, they were all huge. Almost every single one had ginormous claws filled with meat and the tails were massive. We got their pink sauce to dip them in and I highly recommend! They are byob or have soda cans to purchase and you definitely want to get there at opening it shortly after because within an hour this place was fully packed and people were constantly showing up for to go orders. The service was fantastic and our server was really sweet. I only have one issue with Juju's and it's that you've set the bar way too high and I'll forever be looking forward to the day when we drive back over for more! There were no other main dish items on the menu when I dined there, but who needs anything else when you have the best crawfish right there?!?! There are only a few tables. Be prepared to eat on a tailgate or arrive when they open for your best chance to grab a table for yourself. My wife found this place through her friend who is from Louisiana, so we went to give it a try. I must tell you that I have never tasted crawfish as good as Juju's in Houston! The place is around 70 miles east of Houston near Beaumont in a small town, but the one hour's drive was totally worth it. We had two 4 lb servings of hot and perfectly seasoned crawfish along with corn and potatoes with three kinds of dipping sauces which were lip-smacking delicious. You will get ONLY CRAWFISH at this little shack - so you should be a crawfish lover to visit this place. You can BYOB and get some canned drinks for $1 each. The owner is a wonderful lady and you will meet really jolly people here having a good time.
