I hired them to install the window treatments for all my windows, one of the panels from the sliding door broke off so I called them... I called them ten times and left messages, they finally answered the phone when I said I would post a bad review on yelp... the guy that answered said they were having problems with their phone!!! Bull!!! I told him what the problem was, he said to send him pictures and he would let me know.... I sent the pictures and it took him two weeks to answer, then he asked if he could come by on Monday morning, I answered asking if he worked on Saturday, it took him another two weeks to answer... if you want these people to do any work for you, yea they might answer you quickly! We used blinds etc several years ago. More recently, we had to replace our windows and learned that with the new windows, we needed some different brackets to re-install the shades we had (purchased from blinds etc). We called the manager a few times to see if he could help us order those brackets. The manager said he would look into it and call back. He never called and upon further attempts to call him, he never picked up and never returned messages. I just had some head rails replaced-very reasonably priced-and had some shades put in to replace vertical blinds on two sliding glass doors. Vince measured, gave me a quote, sold me these, and also came back for the installation. With both appointments, he showed up on time, was nice, professional, and even taught me the proper way to remove and reinsert blind panels. Was just an okay experience. Guy who sold me my shutters said it would take only 5weeks. I had some regular blinds put in on other windows also. The man who put them on told me that they didn't fit right and it was up to me what to do. He seem nervous. Like it was his first time installing blinds. I asked what he thought was best and he couldn't tell me. So I had them cut them to fit into the window. However I had to call for them to get around to reinstall. I also had to call after 8 weeks of not hearing anything about the installation of my shutters. They were able to get me in a week and a half later. After I had called weeks before for a date. The day of installation I had my husband call to confirm the time they would be at our house. The gal said 9-11am. Around 12pm I still hadn't seen anyone so I called to see what the problem was. The gal had no idea. She called around to find out. She got back to me saying the man was violently ill. She had someone else come that next day. The man was nice and did a great job. This was our experience. Wasn't great wasn't horrible. read more

The price was decent, selection was acceptable, delivery/ installation was terrible. We ordered bass shutters and during the installation process many of our shutters got chipped and dinged. I called Blinds Etc and they sent the same installer back to retouch. He forgot to retouch the day of installation for whatever reason. After having the installer come over 3 different times to try and fix, in addition to having the company owner come once their solution was to apologize and add putty, sand and paint. When we complained, all we got was $100 off a $2,400 project. They were polite and kind during the process, but did not offer further assistance other than putting putty on the chips and dings that THEY created. I also had to ask for the discount as they didn't offer it to me as a courtesy. Also, I had a remaining balance that was slightly over $1000. They wouldn't let me pay over the phone as the balance was too much and I needed to do it in person. All of a sudden, like magic once the job was over they called me several times within one day to collect payment and were able to process my payment over the phone. Mind you, I had asked several times previously if I can do it over the phone and they said no. I was better off going with another contractor and paying slightly more and have my shutters be free of chips. What good is the product if they are chipped once installed? I recommend not using their services. read more

This place is a go to ! I called at least 15 different companies to get quotes on a simple repair for my vertical blinds and cheapest I found was 150$ for anyone to come look at them. I called Blinds Etc. And the owner was so nice and respectful he even gave Me a few suggestions that actually helped me fix them . Last year in April I used this company to get blinds all around my house. They are pretty but some of the blinds are so wobbly from the top area I do believe it's they type of blind I chose that has a lot to do, im not sure what is there to be done to fix. We recently moved into a new home. We took estimates from 3 different companies. I won't say who the others were but one of the companies submitted an attractively low bid. Come to find out later, most all of their measurements were incorrect.
