This place is amazing, I went here with some friends who raved about this spot. It did not disappoint, it has a friendly vibe. It's not too big or small and the chairs were comfortable. When we walked in we were treated by some gentlemen seated and one of the owners came over and chatted us up. We discussed what we liked and were offered a seat. We discussed the different kinds of cigars and the gentlemen who greeted us provided some of their tequila. the conversation was great as was the spot. A word of warning if you are female-bodied. Although there were about 5 gentlemen in the spot, when I went to use the bathroom the toilet seat was down. It took me a few minutes to understand what I was looking at, as I saw a few guys use the bathroom. It was no trick, the bathroom was clean, and the seat was down. We were treated with a warm welcome by staff as well as frequent consumers. We were suggested to try a mild cigar in which my boyfriend and I chose the vanilla flavor. The cigars were perfect for beginners I believe and tasted sweet. I at first was Leary about whether there would be enough ventilation however it was as perfect as a smoking lounge could be. It was smokey but not overwhelmingly smokey. The decor was great and felt as if I were walking into 50s parlor. The music playing was also perfect addition to the vibe. My boyfriend enjoyed our time there, it was a great place to have drinks and a smoke before dinner. It's fine if there's no clear menu but am I supposed to just trust the store to give me the correct price? How do I know if I'm being charged the correct amount if I have nothing to base it off of? I have no problems with paying the cost for something as long as I know what those costs are. Notes to the owners. Be upfront about pricing for everything. If something has a cost say so. I want to start off by saying that I loved this place. The people here are so warm and inviting. You are allowed to bring in your own bottle / bottles of liquor for a small fee. I was there for New Years eve and I had a blast. I sat by the door and I do believe that may be the best seat in the house. The staff seems to know their cigars and the music / DJ was awesome. This would be a 4 star rating except for the one thing that can not be overlooked. The ventilation system is poor and insufficient. I wish my review focused only on the positive because believe me this place is an awesome chill spot full of wonderful patrons and a great vibe, but I have to present a full review. I visits this place yesterday. I have already decided that this will be my new place to hang out and just lounge. No one in there was there to cause trouble. No one was there that was too drunk and cursing people out. Not one bit of trouble. Instead, I found it to be a place of love, peace and harmony. They allow you to bring your own cigars and alcohol but not without paying a very inexpensive fee. I had great conversation there and met 3 people that were all cool as f***! The staff was super professional. Tahir was working the bar area. He was extremely friendly and always available whenever you had any questions. I will not hesitate to come back to this place. I can see myself becoming one of the regulars here. Depending on how many times I go within the next couple of months, I may consider investing in a locker there. As a tiny asian girl, I probably don't fit the standard profile of people who go there... but the owner greeted us immediately, insisting on shaking all our hands, and made us feel welcome. He patiently asked us what we wanted, made sure we had seating, and then got us started. I think each cigar that we got was $20? Don't quote me on that since I wasn't the one who paid & I don't know which one we got... This place is BYOB & after getting us settled, he brought us some glasses for our beer. We hung out for a solid two hours where no one bothered us, though the owner did check up on us every once in a while. There was a game going on on the TV & everyone was kind of doing their own thing. There wasn't any water there though, so make sure to bring some - as you would expect it's dim, smoky, and can get a little warm. I travel from Philly from time to time and this is the place I stop when I go to NY. I was immediately welcomed by people that I have never met and was treated like one of the guys. The atmosphere is great. From the décor to the people you will be impressed with what this lounge has to offer.
