Classic Granite and Marble - After. A lot of outlets to work around and get perfect. I will have to go back and change those to White.

NOTE: I worked with Moe Satari at CGM and purchased my countertops via Cabinets to Go…read more Moe was patient and effective resolving issues created after the wrong color tile was installed for the shower floor and the wrong kitchen sink was delivered to the job site (not CGM errors). Getting the sink originally specified would have delayed our project 6-8 weeks. The incorrect tile color was still great, but required a change to the countertop stone selection. Moe walked me through the CGM slab yard and helped find a countertop slab which worked with the tile in the kitchen and bath and was also an option available for Cabinets to Go clients. I love it even more than my original choice! Moe also worked with the fabrication team and CGM management to find a solution which allowed us to use the sink we had on hand vs. having to re-order. This saved time and money. When white caulk was used in the bath vs. the clear used in the kitchen, the look wasn't what I wanted given the charcoal gray stone chosen. With CGM, I experienced zero pushback and no excuses getting that error corrected promptly and properly. Too bad this approach isn't more typical of those in the construction trades! How a business addresses problems says so much about their integrity and customer service. I'd definitely use CGM for future countertop installations. It was a good experience all around.

This is our 2nd time working with Mo @ Capital. This time was to add a connecting backsplash behind…read morethe stove to the existing quartzite. As natural stones comes, it near impossible to match. While Mo was no magician he was however super patient and took me to see a number of remnant blocks including the ones from our original countertop and backsplash project. We spent a few days looking at pieces until we came across one that would work. Thank you Mo for your patience and help.

Don't even think about it. We were looking for a replacement of small deck and i was quoted (over…read morethe phone, didn't even offer to come by) double the material cost of other contractors AND I was told that they deal with larger projects. I'm pretty sure that's why he jacked up the material quote over the phone. So............if you aren't swimming in cash and your project won't bring these snobs at least $15K look elsewhere. Looking at the other two reviews on here, I see I'm not alone. I was quoted $15K for a 100 sf deck....check elsewhere folks.

We signed a contract w Deck Creations in Sep of 21, they promised to start no later than 16 weeks…read morelater and started about 30 weeks later. They promised a completed project 4-6 weeks after starting and finished in about 18 weeks. During that entire time we had both a large dumpster and porta-potty in our driveway. We engaged them to design/build both a composite deck and paver hardscape area. During the deck construction the subcontractor was fired and at least one inspection was failed by the county. We were contacted directly by the subcontractor about re-hiring them, this made the situation particularly awkward. The deck was finished by another contractor who had to tear down at least half of what was previously done. The hardscape area was completed by a single subcontractor. The resulting space was short about 2.5 feet in width, leaving us ***** sq feet less room around the fireplace than contracted. This was space was especially important to us since it is around the fireplace(center) of the hardscape area. During the process I never got the impression that our project manager had command of the project or was really looking out for us. Ultimately, Deck Creations admitted that the space was indeed short the space around the fireplace sitting area as designed. They offered no remedy, only to waiver the small final residual payment and leave the project. I honestly believe I would have ended up with a better outcome by hiring subcontractors on my own. I also regret not taking the time to understand the details of the contract they had me sign. In hindsight I should have paid closer attention to the extensive protections afforded to them at my expense.
