They have a decent but not overwhelming selection of annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs, herbs and vegetables. I have found their prices to be slightly higher than the big box stores, but to support a local, family business, I'm okay with that. For example, four pack annuals at Strange's are $1.79. At Azalea, they're like $2.49. Friendly service. Located in the old Azalea Shopping Center parking lot.

Service was disappointing, very disappointing. Not one bit welcoming nor friendly. I made a specific detour on my way home to NoVA to stop in and was made to feel foolish for being excited to be there. I removed the photos because they seem to be drawing positive attention and that was not my intention. I am also removing one star since there hasn't been any response from management. Do better.

This place has the sweetest gift shop and beautiful flowers in and out. While I love stopping by to…read morebuy a gift or plant (or two), I've officially decided this may not be the spot for me. After the multiple times I've been in, I can't help but feel that the workers are uppity and rude (for a lack of better words). I was hopeful this was an isolated incident and recognize we're human after all, but after my last stop in, waiting in line to check out while the cashier spoke poorly of other employees to her coworker, waves me up minutes later without a hello, how are you, and didn't even respond when I asked how SHE was... I decided this spot is just not worth it solely due to this type of energy being a repetitive, widespread occurrence each time I'm in.

I stopped in this small nursery to take my chances, as I didn't want to go to a "big box" store during Covid. Although the inventory was scanty, they had everything on my wish list!! I found pansies (my brother says that they're a misnomer - they should be called sturdies or toughies since they last through the winter, anyway...) in many colors, purple, white, blue, yellow & orange and some Dusty Miller for my front stoop. I also found a Crispy wave Japanese fern & a Christmas cactus for the house, and the helpful woman at the shop even found my rosemary (only a few left) ! How serendipitous! I saw shelves of succulents that tempted me, and some gorgeous poinsettias, which I will go back for shortly! So if you'd like to support a small, local business, plant yourself here!

I feel like we were robbed. My sister was very well loved and received over 50 arrangement, Peace Lilies, bouquets, bleeding hearts, wreaths and such beautiful flowers from other florist. The amount was just incredible. This mess of a wreath stuck out as unfinished and unprofessional. I was embarrassed to say the least. Other florist really delivered the MOST, beautiful. I LOVED how their landscaping is an inspiration heaven. We parked next to the most beautiful snapdragons and succulents and flowers I couldn't identify (but I took a picture and one of the workers immediately identified it and showed me the options they have in all of the gorgeous colors). We were asked by no less than 6 employees if they could help find what we were looking for, if we needed help deciding, if we needed more info on how to tend a plant we were looking at. This is NOT the kind of customer service you get in the garden department at generic chain stores, this is... mega service. It was so helpful because we went in with an idea of what we wanted and - rather than letting us buy something that would die immediately in the location we wanted to put it - a helpful fella gave us the pros and cons of our other options or how we could build up the area we wanted to make the sunlight work for us. Options: wow. They have EVERYTHING. We had choices galore! We want pretty flowers, vegetables, fruit trees, decorative greenery, and they have it all. I am almost overwhelmed with the choices they have. How do you pick the prettiest choice when everything is more gorgeous than the last?!?! The prices are pretty great too. We had been looking at fig trees online and they were the same price - but local and you don't have to worry about it dying in transit! And I KNOW this one thrives in this zone, because it is already alive and well in their beautiful outdoor space. There is so much to see, they even have koi, local honey, stained glass plant picks made by a local artist, wind chimes, plant food... I definitely need a bigger yard to make my yard look more like this green Eden. I'll be back for more plants Monday. And for my Christmas tree in November. And many MANY times in between.
