I would like to tell you my story of dealing with David Hicks and the Lake Anna Hardware company: I purchased a new 2022 Branson 2515H tractor with backhoe, roof and thumb. I broke a hinge on the backhoe. Talked to David and he said no problem and warranted a new hinge for my backhoe. Next time I broke a boom, and again David warranted it out without argument. As time passed, I broke the hinge again. I did not have to ask David for anything. David jumped right on the problem and warranted me out an entire new Backhoe. I have never heard of a car or tractor company replacing your entire unit without even being asked. I have dealt with car companies on warranted repairs before and you always have to complain and then they want you to justify things before they will do repairs. But not at Lake Anna Hardware. You have a problem and their team fixes it. Never have I ever had any company offer an entire whole new unit. I didn't even ask David for it. He just felt it was the right thing to do. A new backhoe costs around $7,000. I have never dealt with such a great company. I totally recommend Lake Anna Hardware and Branson for any of your needs. Not only were the employees friendly, they were helpful with recommendations and transparent with pricing. For example, I had a 50% coupon and already went online for pricing so knew what expect... or so I thought. I was told (before purchase) that the store prices are different from the online purchases. I was appreciative of being made aware of this prior to making a purchase. I selected the brand, color, and paint type then he took a few minutes to mix the color according to the type I requested. Upon completion of the purchase, he boxed up my items and loaded them into my vehicle. Even better, 1-pint of paint listed on my coupon was out of stock and he took down my number to call when it became available with a free drop off at my house since this company is frequently in my neighborhood... saving me a job. In JUNE of last year, we ordered some very…read moreexpensive shades from Ethan Allen in Fredericksburg for our asymmetrical windows in our great room. From the start, so many things went wrong with this order. Such as: misinformation/confusion from the sales person as to which shades could or could not work in our windows, a grumpy installer who had to come back several times to get the measurements right, poor installation (one of the shades would not operate correctly), the wrong-sized shade that had to be recut and reordered. Hunter Douglas is supposed to be the premier shade manufacturer and I don't know if the problem lies with Hunter Douglas or with the local store who did not seem to know what they are doing and made little attempt to make this right for us. As of right now, January 2021, we are still missing one of the shades that had to be recut because of an error in the measurements. The order was originally placed in the summer of 2019. So we have been waiting for 7 months for completion! You would think the sales person would offer us some kind of remuneration, or would do something to expedite this last section of blind, but that has not happened. I will say that the shades that did manage to get installed look very nice. I will also say that our windows are very oddly shaped. But still ... we could have taken a little vacation on the money we spent on these drapes, not to mention the aggravation of trying to get it all done correctly. I wish I had shopped around. The attached pictures shows one of the shades that would not operate correctly after the installation.

Well, don't let the name fool you, we quickly learned that they have something for everyone there! The obvious is there: farm and ranch equipment and supplies, but they also have (for instance) grills, lawn and garden items (mowers, vegetable and herb plants), tools, home and yard decor, cooling fans, pet supplies, kayaks, clothing/boots/gloves/hats, and much more. We were warmly greeted upon entering the store, and staff checked to see if we needed help while we were in an aisle. The store is well-organized and clean. Prices are competitive. We recommend this store, and will return.
