The options for viewing were limited at Home Depot, so I went to their showroom where it was much easier to evaluate the product (I chose quartz countertops for my kitchen). Time was a constraint for me and everyone at CG&M was wonderful, most especially Moe! This is the third time I have used Classic Granite and Marble for a project. Previous projects were to replace kitchen counter tops, install vanity counter top in primary bath remodel and now to install two vanity counter tops in remaining baths. Everything went smoothly and everyone was professional. The designer was very thorough and patient making sure I saw all the slabs I wanted to see and giving me several price options. The scheduling all went well, Andrew kept in touch to see how we were progressing and the installers and plumber called 30 minutes before they arrived. It was a good experience. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: Classic Granite wasted 4 hours of time. They delayed my attic bathroom project by 3 weeks due to a mistake on their part. THEY RUINED THE GRANITE I PICKED OUT by drilling the wrong holes. THEY DIDN'T EVEN REPLACE THE RUINED PIECE WITH THE REPLACEMENT PIECE I PICKED OUT. It's almost as if they intentionally installed the most ugly part of the slab on purpose (without even asking me). Now I'm stuck with an ugly piece, delayed 3 weeks, lost 4 hours of my time, and I paid full price for this disaster. They didn't even ask me how they could attempt to rectify their 2 big mistakes. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- the long story: My first experience was to show up for my appointment and my rep never arrived. 30 min drive there. 30 mins of waiting. 30 mins drive back. Bad first impression. A couple months later, they called me to followup. They apologized for missing my appt and asked me to come in again. I did and made a purchase on the spot for 2 granite installations. On the day of installation, the exotic granite I selected for our bathroom was drilled incorrectly. I called Classic Granite to inform them of their mistake. They took the piece back and assured me they would send pictures of replacement slabs (so I could choose) by the next business day. That didn't happen. So, they're paid in full... and I'm still waiting for my bathroom granite to be installed and wasting my time following up with them. This pushed back our schedule with the plumber and delayed us. I've spent this morning following up (which is supposed to be their job). So far, all I've gotten are excuses about how busy they are. That's not what a customer who has paid in full wants to hear. Not happy at all with Classic Granite. My opinion might change if they rectified their mistake and refunded part of my order to compensate for lost time. So far, all I have from them are promises and excuses while they have my money. UPDATE: A week after they ruined the granite I picked out, they came and installed another piece that wasn't the replacement piece I picked out. CG called and explained "oh there was a fissure in the piece you selected so the fabricators had to cut a piece from somewhere else". And they did that without even bothering to ask me!!! They couldn't have done a worse job if they tried. I would not have purchased this hunk of junk. A rep told me "next time, we'll have to make sure the fabricators check with the client before changing the selection on them". YA THINK?!?!? They couldn't have cut a more ugly piece if they tried. Almost as if it was on purpose. Hope they go out of business. Try Brazilian Best Granite instead. There, I got everything I paid for -- unlike Classic Granite. read more

Our process began with a trip to the show room on Route 60 that contains numerous examples of different kitchen and bathroom surfaces. Over the course of three visits, we met with two friendly and helpful sales associates, saw all of the quartz and granite slabs in stock, learned about the different finishing options, sinks, faucets, and other details, and got answers to all our questions. There was no high pressure selling, and everyone was very flexible in meeting our needs. They called me in regards to a repair to my counter top for a new condo that I recently moved into. I was offered to chose between morning or afternoon and so I scheduled the repair at some time in the morning on a Friday. However on the day I forgot the time I scheduled and decide to call to confirm. They told me they didn't have me scheduled for that day but I knew I did so I pressed on so they said they would verify and call me back. Around 1 hour passed and I had no follow up so I decided to call again, this time the lady was suddenly able to verify right away that it was scheduled in the morning but she said they don't give times and that they could come at any time until 12pm. I remember scheduling a time and now they were telling me they don't schedule exact times so I said if we could reschedule it for another day as I could not keep waiting for that long. The lady said they would charge me a fee for rescheduling it and I refused saying that it was an error on their part, but as I said that she put me on hold without even telling me that she would which was very rude. When they came back on the line they said that the repair man would come at 12 the latest. I didn't like the set up but agreed with that as long as they called me at least 30 min before they got to the condo. I left the house to go to the gym and as I come back the repair guys were already outside the condo which I got not previous notice of and didn't know they were waiting. They repaired the countertop and left and as soon as they left I got a call from the company. It was the first person that I spoke to that was supposed to call me, he said I didn't have it scheduled at all because the lady that was supposed to do the scheduling for me at first had quit (?) and that I needed to reschedule. This company just sounds like a mess with no one knowing what is really going on apparently. read more
