The whole project went smoothly and we love how it turned out! I worked closely with Faro on selecting our countertop material, and decided how to handle to renovation, and he was there to answer any and all questions that I had. They handled everything from tear down of the two tier peninsula to the countertop installation. They made it super easy to limit contact during the pandemic and handled as much of the planning as they could remotely. Everything was taken care of within a matter of weeks and it would have been even faster if not for me having to unexpectedly postpone the installation. I can honestly say that this was the most reliable and customer oriented business that I've ever worked with. We love our new counters and if we have any future upgrades to make, we will definitely be working with them again. I find it difficult to believe the seal was put on initially since the stains appeared on day 1. I was essentially told it was my responsibility to care for the granite, clean spots, seal regularly, etc. Agree with Matt O. But...I will locate someone who is willing to at least look at the counter and verify it does, in fact, have a seal as well as provide guidance on upkeep. Tiger C Construction and Waterproofing company, a friendly father-son business with additional…read moreemployees, was absolutely fantastic for us. After a water main leak, our drain tile failed and our finished basement was ruined. Our house was sitting on inches of water under the foundation slab, which had no way to drain because of our dense clay dirt. On the outside, Tiger C excavated all the way down to the slab, put in a new drain tile, water-proofed the walls, re-worked our guttering, and buried it all back. This was all done without permanently removing our porch, deck, or HVAC. On the inside, they cut a trench in the concrete basement slab and installed a six inch drain line from the center of the house to the exterior. Once opened, hundreds of gallons of water gushed out for several hours. Tiger C was very hard-working, friendly, and courteous. They were conscientious of our property and our needs. Further, they warranted their work, giving us the confidence to rebuild the interior. I could not give Tiger C a stronger recommendation.

NOTE: I worked with Moe Satari at CGM and purchased my countertops via Cabinets to Go…read more Moe was patient and effective resolving issues created after the wrong color tile was installed for the shower floor and the wrong kitchen sink was delivered to the job site (not CGM errors). Getting the sink originally specified would have delayed our project 6-8 weeks. The incorrect tile color was still great, but required a change to the countertop stone selection. Moe walked me through the CGM slab yard and helped find a countertop slab which worked with the tile in the kitchen and bath and was also an option available for Cabinets to Go clients. I love it even more than my original choice! Moe also worked with the fabrication team and CGM management to find a solution which allowed us to use the sink we had on hand vs. having to re-order. This saved time and money. When white caulk was used in the bath vs. the clear used in the kitchen, the look wasn't what I wanted given the charcoal gray stone chosen. With CGM, I experienced zero pushback and no excuses getting that error corrected promptly and properly. Too bad this approach isn't more typical of those in the construction trades! How a business addresses problems says so much about their integrity and customer service. I'd definitely use CGM for future countertop installations. It was a good experience all around.
