We had a complete tear out of our existing landscaping, replanting and reconfiguration of our yard including the installation of pavers in order to widen our driveway as well as the installation of lighting and a drip irrigation system. The entire process was easy. From the design, contract formation, demolition and installation, all was professionally handled and stress free. Before choosing a contractor, my husband and I interviewed several companies, and we are so glad we selected Blessing Landscapes! We really valued working with a company that offered a complete start-to-finish service. Having a design phase was very important to me because we wanted to see our ideas on paper first. Our designer, Sarah Lowles, provided the design both on paper and emailed electronically. She listened closely to what we wanted, implemented a beautiful plan, and stayed involved all the way through plant placement. They beautifully executed several key design elements, including a gravel pad for our gazebo, stepping stones, a dry creek, and irrigation work that included fixing and correcting our existing system. The work crew was top-notch, highly considerate, and showed a great work ethic. They were extremely accommodating to our requests and cleaned up the workspace every day before leaving. Except for the green grass that you see in the photos which I planted and seated myself and watered due to having a new patio installed left a gap, bad sod replacement in 2025 Within months sod is was horrible in many spots, and I recently discovered that the sod that they delivered and sold to me was grown on heavy plastic webbing. Apparently they do that so it's easier to transport from the farm it is grown that way, and I was not made aware of this horrible practice of polluting my entire yard with hard plastic directly under the grass, in my entire backyard so you can't even dig up a spot to repair it, also they did a half assed job prepping the soil underneath, however probably wouldn't matter much with a 10 pounds of plastic covering the ground under the sod so overseeding is impossible and The Roots have nowhere to go but to die, extremely not drought tolerant when the ground is so hard with plastic webbing and unrooted tilled hard Rock and clay, I should say barely wrote it till maybe an inch down it's as if it is a temporary fix for realtors to sell a house and then the new owner just digs it up but where is all of this plastic webbing going under all of these lawns. That is a horrible practice and it was not disclosed to me otherwise I would have said, oh hell no . read more

Blessing Landscape transformed our back yard into a beautiful garden. From start to finish we were impressed with their professionalism and artistry. We have wanted a change for many years but every time we tried to get a quote, we were given astronomically high prices, or were asked to deposit thousands of dollars for plans or designs. We recently hired Blessing Landscapes to flatten and re-gravel our backyard's side steps, install new stone steps in another area, and plant various plants and bushes throughout our backyard to increase our yard's privacy and aesthetics. Richell was very accessible and easy to communicate with, and was clear about our choices, our plans and what to expect. The whole project and process went smoothly and easily. Workers Luis and Luis were friendly and polite, and cleaned up our yard after they were done. Rick was also so easy to work with, and plans to reach out and visit later in the spring to make sure our plants are doing well with their 1-year warranty. I'm happy with Blessing. In Fall 2016, I started calling around to companies looking to get an underground sprinkler system installed in the house I recently bought in Gresham. I had a hard time getting quotes or bids from anyone -- apparently all the businesses in Portland who install sprinklers were too busy to even come get me a quote. Blessing Landscapes, though, came out. Pablo came out and did a great job estimating. He explained where they would install everything, and asked me some questions about what I wanted. Their office followed up with a proposal that was professional and clear. The price wasn't super low, although I don't think it was out of the realm of what was expected. We agreed on an installation the following spring (April). But over the Winter (January), their office reached out and offered to fit us in during the winter. Their crew came out during some bad weather, but powered through. They worked hard, brought out a port-a-potty so my house didn't suffer, and were real professional. They were working for about a week, and kept me in the loop as they went. They did a good job cleaning up after themselves (power washing my driveway, for example), and re-seeded the lawn in the areas that were ripped up. They also winterized the system, and let me know that they would be able to come out and de-winterize it, and do more grass re-seeding if needed, in the spring. If you are looking for a sprinkler system, I'd give these guys a call. They seem professional, and were clear with what they were offering and what the costs are. read more

Their attention to detail is phenomenal, after they did a mid sized job for us, a manager came out and inspected it and made sure it was perfect. Blessings Landscapes gave me bids for two separate jobs. The first bid, for a sprinkler system, came in significantly higher than a second bid for the same job. So we went with the second contractor for the sprinklers. We contracted with Blessings for the second job, which involved routine cleanup and renovation of a fairly large lawn. The bid was $1600+, but we agreed to it, hoping for a thorough and complete job. When the day came, only one worker arrived. While he worked diligently for the five hours he was here, he seemed to have no realization of the need to apply extra seed/fertilizer/mulch to numerous bare spots. When I contacted the owner later to ask about this, he was reluctant to put any more labor into the job. I ended up redoing the seeding myself. Also, their contract had numerous protections for the business (in terms of payment requirements, guarantee of work, etc.) There didn't seem to be much protection for the consumer. read more

Alright everyone I hope u read the other guys review about a woman named Maria she most definitely is still with the company and we had a estimate scheduled today with Maria from blessing landscapes at 9:30am I called her to let her know I was sorry but I was gonna be a few mins late I was about 5mins away. She right off the bat said well u should have called way before our appointment to notify her. I was like whoa I can't believe she would even say something like that to someone who is doing a full backyard remodel or anyone for that matter. She said our appointment was for 9am which was not true but either way could have been a error on her part or mine who knows, and she was clearly pissed off with a attitude. I then let her know I was sorry and that I would not reschedule to potentially spend my money with a company that allows Maria to speak to people like this so unprofessional. I really hope the owner doesn't try to say she doesn't work for them because I have the card she gave me and it matches their logo and phone number. DO NOT go with this company. They cut so many corners and now I have thousands of dollars in repairs a few years after their work. They glued down stone seating in my backyard and they are all so loose people have fallen over and almost hurt themselves. They should have been cemented. The fire pit makes an annoyingly loud whistling sound every time we turn it on. They planted a dead tree only to accuse me of killing it initially before they finally fixed the issue. The roofing people they recommended me to also did a shady job on covering my back deck area. Now a few years later, its leaking and there is damage to the house. It needs to be replaced too. I thought the price they charged was steep and now I feel completely ripped off because here I am a few years later having to repair all these things which will most definitely cost me thousands. Blessing Landscapes has completed two projects for me, the front yard and back yard. Jesse worked with us to get the design we wanted, coming out to the house and talking through the entire process. He provided a proposal and detailed estimate breakdown based on our discussion. We fine tuned the final project and he was able to accommodate minor changes all the way through completion. The crew was amazing and very experienced, working quickly yet efficiently. The most recent project included a circular paver patio, patio extension, drainage, irrigation, sod, and lots of plants.
