There was no line, so we were surprised when we waited and realized something had gone wrong. Apparently, there are two QR codes--one that goes to their website and another that goes directly to their phone system. Our order had been sent through email and wasn't scheduled to be processed until Tuesday! We asked about the issue, and even though there was no line, the cashier was on her phone and didn't see the order. Once we explained what happened, they made us wait another 15 minutes for our food. The wings were okay. They basically tasted like wings with Frank's hot sauce and blue cheese. They didn't have ranch, which was disappointing. I will give them credit for the fries, though--they were perfect! Overall, the food was just okay, and the service was not great.

The burger patty was also left thick and not as smashed. I felt that this burger could be much more elevated with a thousand island sauce. The tater tots were really crispy and had a nice sauce! For $30+ for two burgers it's a little bit on the pricey end and I just felt it didn't hit the mark. But still a pretty decent tasting burger!

Just like with anyplace when you're looking for a good deal you do have to look through things and evaluate the price. The great thing about this pop up is that everything is really well organized so you can flip through things quickly and the really good deals jump out at you. As an example, at the August 2025 sale I found a frozen jacket with matching skirt for $4, dollhouse with furniture for $45, sleeping bag set (with pillow and blanket) for $10 and the clothes and sleeping bag look hardly worn/ used. I went on Friday so it wasn't even the earliest you could go. The more recent one I went twice and I did notice when I went on Saturday that a ton had already sold so there wasn't as much to pick from. But on Sunday lots of items are half off so you can get some really good deals on something that was just a bit overpriced initially (I got a three pack of disney princess dress up/ nightgowns for $7.50 that way). So if you really want the best stuff or if you're looking for something specific, go early. If you want great deals, best bet is early general public (Thursday) or Sunday for the half off.

My stepdaughter Erica loves Pop-Ups and Disney, but if she is unwilling to pay the $30.00 entrance fee it speaks volumes about the pop-up, but the you can enter the store for free. The store ( https://bit.ly/2ZgBgqM ), like the Pop-Up is all about the Mouse, but unlike the Pop-Up there is an equal amount of merchandise dedicated to the Disney Mouse without a Y-chromosome. Just to the right of the entrance is a display of Mouse Ears ( https://bit.ly/2YsQ9ZU ) from the opening day of all six parks. To the left of the entrance, there are several exclusive items ( https://bit.ly/2JYtL2w ) from the artists working at the Wonderground Gallery in Downtown Disney. We were warmly greeted upon entering the store and the cast members were able answer our questions with relative easy. As we worked our way through the store, my lovely wife found a t-shirt ( https://bit.ly/2LMdn7f ) she was interested in which is a bit of a rarity since her favorite character is Donald Duck and Disney doesn't carry a large amount of merchandise with the likeness of Disney's favorite fowl. If there had been a churro on the t-shirt, it would have been perfect, but even without the churro it was worth the $34.99 purchase price. Laina also purchased a recyclable bag ( https://bit.ly/2yhOVC9 ) at $1.50 which is a really good deal (for Disney) and the bags are located behind the sales counter. Passholders will get the appropriate discount (20 percent off with my Signature Plus Pass) here, so don't forget to show your pass at the time of purchase. Just to the left of the sales counter ( https://bit.ly/30V4iMW ), there are some ears which you can get a Pop-Up Disney! patch embroidered on, a stuffed Mickey toy, an exclusive t-shirt and some Mickey Ears Beats Headphones. There is a Pop-Up Disney M-I-C-K-E-Y pin series to be had and on August the 1st the shop will be selling the limited edition (2000) fourth letter ("K") pin for A Mickey Celebration. The "K" pin will retail for $16.99 and feature Sorcerer Mickey waving a wand. Continuing to tour the store, I found a really loud sweater and hat ( https://bit.ly/2Yrchj2 ) on display. These items were so bright even a blind gay man would say, "Oh dear Christ! Those are loud! This is not Carnival." The only advantage of wearing clothing like this is if you ever get lost, the astronauts on the international space station will be able to spot you! This kind of clothing makes GPS tracking obsolete. I thought the tutti-frutti lollipop and donut Minnie ears were particularly cute and unique. In addition to the t-shirt Laina purchased, there was several other sweet themed t-shirts, magnets and key chains with another area with more traditional Mickey items. The display neared to the entrance of the pop-up contained some really cool Mickey Birthday Ears ( https://bit.ly/2GtyFT1 ), Mickey Popcorn Buckets with some banana and raspberry flavored kettle corn and Pop-Up Disney! Tumblers. I thought the Mickey Birthday Ears were really nice looking, but they would have been even been better if they had lit up. The last display ( https://bit.ly/2GyPzQa ) we looked at had Trutti-Frutti Mickey Lollipops, Mickey Crisped Rice Cereal Treats, more Mickey Popcorn Buckets and Caramel and Kettle Corn Popcorn bags. The only problem with these treats is every time I see them on the floor I think back to a scene from Conan the Barbarian where Conan is eating some meat on a stick: Conan: It's good. Subotai: We don't know how long it was there. Rohlinism: If you have to guess about how long a food item has been on display, I guess you shouldn't eat it! If you are a fan of Disney and Mickey and Minnie in particular, the store offers some unique items for a limited time because the Pop-Up! Both the Garden Grove (on Main St. across from Costco) and Tustin locations have easy and ample parking. Their sourdough bread has a prominent tanginess and the flavors are easily distinguishable. I've tried the miso onion, cinnamon golden raisin, buckwheat sesame, asiago and calabrian chili. The savory ones are a tad too salty, but they pair well with unsalted butter. Miso onion had the most soft and pillowy texture, by far; it's our favorite. The asiago and calabrian chili had a nice kick and a fair amount of cheese. Cinnamon golden raisin was the most dense, and had plenty of raisins but the cinnamon didn't come through. Buckwheat sesame is a nice classic. Their stall is small and quaint. Sliced half loaves and sandwich breads are available. They also offer sourdough chocolate chip cookies and sourdough cinnamon rolls, but the prices are pretty steep at $8 and $10 each. I'd recommend this place to restock your weekly bread!

The line goes to the door much of the time, but they keep it moving, keep it kind, and the one barista keeps the drinks coming out so quickly that you barely have time to find a seat! It was pretty full again with half studier/workers and half friend pairs/ groups. We happened to come on the day they had a collab for jeans recycling with Madewell: donate a pair of jeans and get a free 12-oz drink from the "taplist" (regular menu list) plus a coupon for 15% off a pair of jeans! What a great and generous promo for a cause. Inside vinyl shops look fun. I am sad that the stationery shop is gone, but still looking forward to bringing my fam to check our the vinyl and fun drinks. The drinks: We came here just for the Fall Banoffee Latte because we crave/miss this British flavor. It was pretty good and a good sweetness, but I think toffee topping or a little more toffee flavor would've elevated it. I actually liked the free pour of Strawberry Swing even better! Green tea with strawberry flavor and a floral touch without bitterness. Had a taste of my friend's Princess Daisy green tea with mango/passion fruit, and it had a bit of bitter/tea flavor, but it grew on my friend's palate with every sip. The food: Only tried the cinamon sugar donut, which was tasty, solid regualr yeast donut topped with ?buttercream frosting and 8 or so cinnamon toast crunch pieces. The add-it-yourself maple drizzle dropper was a fun touch, though might've liked it a tad more viscous if possible (turned out looking like it rained maple syrup on the donut, heh). Plenty of parking on Orange St public parking lot or along that street. Now they charge at the lot, about $1.45 per hour (oh well, better than LA parking). Looking forward to returning! I saw their IG post about their new fall drinks and I really wanted to try their matchas fosters so that's what I went for. I was so excited to try it but man, the flavor was just not there. First the syrup at the bottom (I'm assuming is banana) tasted so artificial. Then the matcha itself didn't taste like anything, tasted like water so the whole drink barely had any taste except the artificial tasting syrup. Even looking at the picture they posted on IG, that picture had three layers and my drink didn't look like that. It was almost $9! The flavor was lacking big time. I also got their banana bread and it was okay, I've had better. I'm so sad because I wanted to come back and do work here cause I loved the vibe. But the bad taste of the drink put a damper and not sure if I'll be back.
