Start with the exterior marketplace showcasing X-Wing fighter pilot helmets to children and adult SW character shirts and outerwear. Entering in, you find the latest era and character SW sweatshirts. It is worth walking through just to see what's new. Lightsabers have their own section that include Hilts, lightsabers (2 sizes), and Lightsaber Kits (more expensive but worth it). They are the same, if not similar, selection as those sold in Dak-Ondar's Den of Antiquities, but without having to go INSIDE the park. SWTP also carries the less expensive toy versions like Ahsoka Tano's double or dual set for under $100. The service is impeccably strong with Cast Member/CM everywhere to assist. The Lightsaber counter usually has 2-3 CMs or they close by as the counter gets busy. Overall, highly recommend visiting SWTP whether it's your first time, a regular visitor, or an Magic Keyholder. ..... or just in DTD for dinner. May the force be with you and Fight On !!!!

I didn't notice them here when I visited in 2024, so this was kind of a nice surprise. They now carry the Starbucks x Disney collab mugs, which makes it way easier if you don't want to search all over the parks. Quick heads-up though: the Starbucks locations in Downtown Disney only have the regular California "Been There" mugs. They don't carry the Disney collab versions.

You'll see it as the official retail stop at the exit of Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway ride. The stored opened in March 2023 as part of the reimagined Toontown area. This is one of my favorite shops in Disneyland. There is a real model train running above guest's heads inside the shop. The floor designs are themed from toy train tracks. The interior features classic Mickey Mouse cartoons and even incorporating railroad décor. Looking through the merchandise, this is one of the few shops that I consistently see the Disneyland 70th year Magic Key interactive toy in stock. The store also has apparel, accessories, toys, ear hats, mugs, ornaments and more. Many of the items feature Mickey and Minnie! There is even a remote controlled roadster toy car inspired by the Runaway Railway attraction! You can use the Merchandise Mobile checkout via the Disneyland mobile application at this store. Magic Key discounts are also accepted! I ended up getting the holiday Disneyland sweater from EngineEar Souvenirs!

And if you bring your kids here, unless you're way most strong willed than me, you are guaranteed to walk out with at least one sweet food item. Prices for some of the made on site items are a bit on the pricey side, but you're paying for that piece of Disney magic and for an item that screams 'take a picture of me & post it on social media.' Not to mention one bite and you won't feel so guilty for spending the money on it. I would particularly recommend the churro toffee square. My sister-in-law introduced it to me and now I have to get a few of them every trip. One for the visit and one for another day....or later in the day. Let's be honest. So yes. While I would definitely understand why someone would want to actively avoid walking in to this sweet spot (pun intended), I still recommend it to everyone. While you can find a lot of these treats in other spots around the park, this is a great place to find them all together and in an area with shorter lines & smaller crowds that some of the stores in heavier traffic areas.

If you know the regular prices, then you know! Loungefly bags are always on sale here! Additionally, there are mouse ears, blankets, toys, costumes, figurines, artwork, coffee cups, water bottles, dish ware, hats, decorations, pins, lanyards, and even lightsabers! Sometimes, you'll see things on sale here that you just saw for regular price at the Parks! There's a very clean set of restrooms way in the back and the ladies' room is fully stocked with free feminine supplies! Plan to spend at least an hour here (more if there's a line outside just to get in!). There are NO dressing rooms... The only catch is that you must have a printed paper pass from a Disney employee with their full name and employee number! They've gotten a lot stricter recently...no screenshots on your phone! Plus, you can only bring one person in with you on the same pass. My latest haul included a Disney lettermen's jacket for $49.99 (regularly $149.99!) and sweatshirts for $4.99 (regularly $79.99). I also got fans for $1.99. The checkout lines can wrap around the entire store, but they have up to nine cashiers working so it moves along... It's really incredible for holiday shopping, if you have kids or if you're just a slightly crazed Disney adult!

Steffany was our cashier and she was fantastic! She noticed my aunt had a Baymax item and told us that there was a really good discount on the Baymax Cuddleez plush. They were all towards the middle back of the store so if she didn't tell us we would have completely missed it! I'm so grateful for her mentioning it because she could have just rung us up and we would have been on our way. She took that extra step with us and I'm glad she did. Now my aunt has a great and cuddly souvenir! I will happily come back one day for the great products and the great service.

They say it's modeled after fancy olden days Los Angeles department stores which is kind of cool. Even more cool, Elias was Walt Disney's Dad's name so the shop is named after his father. I'd call Elias & Co as a general souvenir gift shop at Disneyland where you'll find a ton of clothes and other fairly standard Disney items. Tons of Mickey ears, bags, even some watches & jewerly. The huge store is divided into four sections: Men's, Women's, Children's and Jewelry. It's been helpful for me in particular when I needed to buy socks and ended up getting some cute Disney footsie covers in a bind. If you have an Annual Pass, they do offer the discount here which is nice. If nothing else, you can escape the heat or weather for a moment walking down Buena Vista Street thru the store from one end to the other and check out what's for sale instead of trotting down the trove with the masses. Because this is at the front of the park, it can get incredibly busy though! Only for that reason is it probably my least favorite shop at California Adventure. They have a helpful and friendly staff working though, as always is the Disney way!

The gallery specializes in Disney themed artworks, prints, collectibles, housewares, accessories and more. The gallery also features a drawing station where sketch artists create custom hand drawn art right before your eyes! When my family and I came in on a Friday evening after California Adventure, the Gallery was busy! We saw the large unique Collectible Magic Key! It was cool, but expensive. You could easily spend an hour here looking at all of the Disney art pieces. Over the years, the Wonderground Gallery has celebrated a variety of art styles and periodically hosted meet and greet and even signing events with featured artists! Recently the gallery was refurbished in 2024. Parts of the offerings were moved over to other Disney stores like the Disney Home store. If you're visiting Downtown Disney, I'd highly recommend checking out the Wonderground Gallery. Before taking pictures of the gallery, we did ask a cast member if it was okay, and we were informed it was good to take pictures inside the Art Gallery! My family and I enjoyed our time here. Discounts are accepted at the Wonderground Gallery which includes the Magic Key Holder Discounts, the Disney Vacation Club discounts, and the Disney Visa Cardmember perks.

We opt for a cookie and soda which was about $12. Staff was super friendly and nice, allowed us to get change from the register as 2 change machines were out of service. From flip book animation to the organ, or testing your strength, maybe pickup a collector coin or getting your future told, to making Pinocchio dance to the music! You can't go wrong checking out this classic store.
