My husband and I love coming to this locally owned coffee shop. The decor is eclectic and welcoming. My husband drinks his coffee black and noticed that the coffee at Blend never taste stale or burnt. I personally love their flavored lattes and the option to substitute diary for coconut or almond milk. The lattes are different from their typical corporate competitors. The taste of the espresso is more pronounced, and it isn't as sweet. I personally prefer my lattes this way. They have a honey cardamom latte which is unique to Blend. I love the two ingredients, but I wasn't sure about ordering a full cup of it. One of the owners made a sample of it for me to try and I loved it! It is has become one of my favorites. read more

I really enjoyed my visit to Blend - the ambiance is inviting, the coffee/tea is yummy and it's local! It's a great spot to meet a friend or work for a while on your laptop. A cozy hole in the wall in a Broadlands shopping center run by friendly folks. This is my go to place for working and studying whenever I am in Ashburn, and I usually get the cider with whipped cream and caramel drizzle. Use the same credit card ten times and you get a reward. :) read more

The staff is so friendly, and the ambience is really cool. In fact, I would say that the staff is incredibly kind and accommodating. I think this is a great place to meet up with friends or for a date, or to study at. They also have some board games in the back to keep everyone entertained. I did not give this place more stars because they have some crucial flaws which should be the foundation of the business: their coffee and food are just not very good. For example, they served cupcakes which were sloppily done (reminiscent of my childhood baking attempts, which although nostalgic, is not worth the $4-5 which was being charged). read more

Went by here after seeing that it was getting pretty good reviews. I went with a mocha with just a little chocolate like normal, and the chocolate chip scone since they didn't have any muffins..I then noticed that they had an sausage and egg sandwich, and immediately regretted it lol. A decent place but it wasn't too outstanding to make me went to drive back there again. Cafein is still my go to place for sure. Still a great option for something in Loudoun though. read more

This place is the only one in the neighborhood that serves pour over. They have a pretty decent selection of beans including Ethiopian, Kenyan and Colombian. Most of them were dark roast. I had a Cortado (off the menu). The espresso was pretty strong. It was a little too bitter for me personally. The Lady in the coffee shop seems like as genuine coffee lover. I give them five stars for the customer service and four stars for the coffee. read more

I'm not going to pretend to be a tea expert but their masala chai is perfection. Staff is always very helpful and polite. I don't go there as often as I want because I'm on a strict plan for a competition but that's about to change. They use Lone Oak coffee company beans, which is company that sells and roasts beans in Winchester. Coffee is great, decor is cute and I've enjoyed their karoke nights, and live music! Very nice owners! The Honey Cardamom latte is my favorite drink, the cardamom not too overpowering. Recently I got their cold brew which was perfectly strong, and asked for them to put a couple of pumps of mocha syrup in it. Delicious! I try to go when I am in Ashburn, great place! read more

Love this place. What a coffee shop should be. Spent the day here working drinking and snacking. Cozy welcoming environment that caters to everyone, whether you want to sit in a comfy chair and read, work at a table, occupy your little one, or gather with friends just to hang out. Great outdoor patio too. And the coffee speaks to the quality of this place whose owners have thought of everything. Obsessed to say the least. I come here whenever I need a place to study or just grab a quick coffee on my way to work. The whole staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The line at the front of the store didn't take very long but, the amount of time it took those guys to give me a simple affogato was atrocious. The guy behind the counter looked dazed and confused 90% of the time as well as not being friendly. I will not be back here anytime soon. read more

This coffee house is a treasure for Ashburn. Nestled in the Broadlands, it's a fantastic place to do your first half day of telecommuting or a place to retreat to to read a book. The staff had a sweet disposition and the cappuccinos are on point. The coffee house imports local bakery goods and they even have beer for happy hour. One of my favorite features of the coffee house is the large window seating option. Sometimes web surfing needs a break while I sip my coffee and look out the window. read more

Really like the atmosphere and the plentiful outdoor seating will be great in good weather, but I was expecting more of my salted caramel latte. I think I tasted the salt and some sweetness that was reminiscent of caramel, which frankly is better than an overpowering taste, especially if it's artificial! But the coffee taste was very weak. That was disappointing. Not a bad latte, but certainly not the best. Really wanted to give Blend more stars. read more
