I came here twice in one week last week because we were having training nearby. Both time I had mobile orders. This location is spacious and has plenty of parking but it's a kind of round about when you try to exit. The baristas were friendly and kind both times I went. One time we placed a second mobile order while I was there and it took forever.. I think getting in line and order would've been faster... Please fire barb. if you can't do that hire someone else to work with her. we ordered ahead 10 minutes before we got there and our drinks weren't ready until 50 minutes after. she also makes the peoples drinks who walked in AFTER us first. Overall, I won't be absolutely negative as this location has a drive thru which seems to be the gift and the curse. Yet awkwardly situated next to Kiddie Academy,sandwiched into a area made for one, I'm imaging the parking lot is a nightmare during drop off and pick up seasons since spaces are limited and the parking lot is relatively small. I was drawn this way hoping that the drive thru would allow me to maintain my timeliness trying to get back to work. I was able to order quickly and the barista was great!! she repeated my somewhat complicated order back to me to ensure she accurately captured all my desires in my cup. Once I pulled ahead trying to get to the window, I think I waited about 5 to 7 minutes before I actually was able to pay and have my drink in my hand. This literally was the only drawback or am I just spoiled with the idea that the drive thru is supposed to be quick, easy and effortless. I am all for second chances, that's for sure, so I will be back with my fingers crossed. The time suck I experienced today however has me eager to actually go inside and fully check this location out. This Starbucks is right next to a daycare, which means a lot of parents will be stopping by to get their black juice on, right after dropping their kids off in the morning to go to work. This starbucks is large, but I feel like there could be more seating. However, it is located in a weird location...off a busy road, near the toll road and near a gas station and couple hotels. Starbucks is typically my go to for coffee, and morning snacks. Most locations are pretty standard. My biggest issue with this location is that the staff is extremely unprofessional. There have been to many times where I walk in and the staff have friends hanging out with them-they're to distracted to make my drink or completely mess up my order. Typically, it's not a big deal but when it's a constant issue-I'd rather go elsewhere to get better service. Also, who has the idea to share a parking lot with a preschool? The traffic situation during their pick up and drop off times is hectic and dangerous. read more

It's a Starbucks and it has a drive thru which I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes to get my drink. The people are friendly and they always get the orders right. I only went to use up some rewards before expiring. Very disappointed, not only with the rewards but the time spent acquiring them and entering. I'm a French Roast drinker and rarely go to a Starbucks because they don't serve French Roast. Previously an empty coffee bag would get you a free tall coffee. Now, Starbuck's reward program requires one to spend $120 to get that same tall coffee. I had saved up so many bags that by the time I got around to entering the codes, I received the paisley reward(s) instead. The rewards had to be redeemed within six or seven months. I thought I'd be in for a treat picking up a couple of sandwiches. They were terrible. The bread was bland. The sandwich containing Chicken, mozzarella, pesto & tomato was about the worst I have ever tasted. I ordered a couple of egg nog latte's and they were so weak I could barely drink it, being accustomed to their strong French Roast I brew at home and take with me in a thermos whenever traveling. All in all it was a very bad experience. Having to have spent the equivalent of $600 to acquire what I've described and the time expended removing the star code, logging in, entering it, and then getting one of the worst tasting sandwiches made for a very bad experience. I have seen a lot of complaints about their reward program. I guess the only thing to do is just keep embarrassing them with reviews like this. P.S. the new store was nowhere as nice as previous stores containing couches, fireplace, wood floors. read more

This location is always closed, I live 6 minutes from it and every time I try to stop by they are closed!!!! Today I stopped by at 5pm and the store was closed and drive thru. It's been multiple occasions in which this has occurred so I'm confused because it is repeatedly and I visit during business hours. I stopped at this Starbucks on my way to work. I went through the drive-thru and ordered a venti almond milk caramel machiatto and a protein box. I got to the window the barista handed me the protein box but I still had to wait for the coffee. No problem. He came back to the window and handed me a grande drink. I reminded him that I ordered a Venti and gave him the drink back. I sat at the window for about 8 minutes(3 cars are in line behind me at this point). He finally comes back and gives me a venti drink and even though I got there early enough to have time to get to work early- by this time I had to drive off. I took a sip of the coffee and taste CINNAMON. I instantly knew I had the wrong coffee AGAIN. I look around the cup and there is no label. So I get to work and open the coffee - sure enough it is a cinnamon latte.. it's not labeled, I don't know if it is almond milk.. foam took up so much of the drink it may as well had been a grande. I had to toss it because I am lactose intolerant so I didn't want to take a chance and drink it then become sick at work. Sigh ... I'm just disappointed I wasted my money. Even in the chaos of the morning rush they always start conversation with me, and have such a positive attitude. They never get my many orders wrong and even know me by my name as soon as I walk in, also as apple juice girl! This location is by far the best I have visited in Loudoun County! One of the largest Starbucks stores I've been to. I'm staying at the hotel within walking distance and I walk here to get my drinks. My order was completed quickly and my bagel was nice and toasted. This starbucks has to be by far the ABSOLUTE WORST starbucks i have ever been to. The first time i went i was like ok maybe they are still getting their ish together so i gave them a second try and i don't care that you are walking distance from my house or that it's on my way to work. I don't care how far i have to drive i will never comeback here. First time there's a guy messing with his app, who took (no joke) about 8 minutes rebooting and turning off and rebooting and turning off to get his phone to work. Which is cool with me, maybe is the only form of payment he had. What bothered me is that two people were training a new guy at the register... why not train him to take an order?? Or one of them take over on the customer thats in front of them??Ok whatever finally the one guy gets to me takes my order for a sandwich and a drink. Drink comes out and sandwich doesnt.... i ask they say it's coming... i ask again.... so and so did you put his sandwich in?? Oh no i didnt give me a few.. wtf... At this point i had been at this coffee shop for over 20 minutes Second and last time. I walk in theres a couple in front of me so i stand behind them, the lady says go ahead we are waiting...ok thanks...so i go to the register to place my order, and three people look at me and continue to do what they are doing... no acknowledgement that i'm standing there or be right with you... nothing! I continue to stand there just looking around. Finally the one guy who is grounding coffee beans for the couple hands them their bag of ground coffee and he turns to go do something else..... i mean what the £u(&?? So i finally just walked off and drove off to another coffee shop. I understand this is a busy area and your shop will be busy regardless but you know what? theres a lot to say for companies who invest on training their employees to treat customers with the respect they deserve. WORST SERVICE EVER. Looks nice from outside and convenient as it is close to our house, however their staff lack simple customer service manners. Not sure if it has to do with lack of training, but they need help. While ordering from drive thru, apparently one of them could not understand what we mean by "easy ice" instead of less ice as they finally figured. Then while picking up the drinks my husband asked if they say things differently here as we have just moved from Los Angeles, CA and she didn't even reply just rolled her eyes. Definitely won't be back here even though it is right next to my son's preschool. Drinks were okay and the drive through service was not the quickest. It took about 15 minutes for a tall "special" coffee and Frappuccino I purchased two drinks that seemed to take forever to make. When compared to Pete's Coffee up the way there is no comparison at this time. Pete's exceed in how they deal with customers and makes the drinks. By far the slowest Starbucks I've been to. 8 out of 10 times make my drink is wrong. It's a Simple unsweetened green ice tea so I feel as tho it shouldn't be that difficult . You can tell it's a very new store with very new employees. While everyone was super friendly, the drinks are horrible. I always get a caramel frappuccino, no whip cream (from other Starbucks. This was my first time at this location). What I got today was def. not a frozen drink. It was the consistency of cold soup and frothy. Also not sure what the white stuff was on the bottom of the cup that I sucked through my straw. But it was gross. So I came back and returned the drink and went for something more simple, an iced pumpkin coffee. I was handed a drink that was completely over flowing. Cleaned up my cup and took a drink of something awful. There was so much pumpkin spice to that coffee it was not drinkable. I'm headed to Dunkin for a cheaper, drinkable coffee. read more

Starbucks, get your act together at this new location. As expected, the curb appeal is nice while getting to the drive through line is a little awkward. The girl taking my order was super pleasant and bubbly. The problem was that it took more than 10 mins from placing myorder to receiving. My bagel wasn't even warm and to top it off I received no knife to spread the ice cold butter. Hopefully, with training and experience things will get better. This is the newest location and I think they may have put it on the wrong side of the road---good for people going the opposite way of traffic in the AM. This location wasn't busy when I went.
