Havana Cappuccino and Ham & Swiss Sandwich
Richard D.

Been here a couple times, it's what you would expect for a chain coffee place. Taking that into consideration I do like Peet's coffee. However, this experience wasn't the best. There was a good amount of staff, a lot of drink mistakes were being made in the weight appeared to be longer than it should have. This will be fine if someone was training, but others should've stepped in and helped a little bit more. Had the Havana cappuccino, it was good but a weak cinnamon taste. The ham and Swiss sandwich; was OK for a chain coffee shop.

This is an amazing Peet's! I've visited many Peet's and this one is unique, they get super busy with the drive-through while still taking care of their inside customers. The employees are friendly, have fun and keeping a positive attitude. The cancer are diverse and generally enjoy coming in. The inside seats 25 as well as outside seating.

This is the closest Peet's to me so I stop by regularly. Don't know why it took so long to review. For those who don't know, Peet's is a chain that originated in Berkeley, CA. Like Starbucks they have various different coffees available for sale. Unlike Starbucks if you like the beans you can buy them in whatever quantity you want scooped up fresh. My favorite so far is the Major Dickason's Blend. If you're looking for a rich smooth cup of coffee this is a great option. If you don't want to brew it, it's available in K cups too. Also like the other famous chain they offer various types of food so you can enjoy a snack with your coffee. This particular Peet's is a bit small but there are lots of tables and comfy seats for getting work done or relaxing. They also sell anything you could need to go with your beans including French press and pour over pots, mugs etc Bonus if your method of preference is Nespresso they also offer their coffee in Nespresso pods. Besides great coffee they offer every variety of Mighty Leaf tea. And you can buy your own if you find one you love. Great spot for great coffee and a relaxing chat with friends and the baristas are the best! Taking the time to go the extra mile with fancy latte art and customizations!

Excellent coffee place

If you tired of Starbucks and dunkin here is another good alternative for you, I like their vanilla latte and their coffee. A little bit pricey though. They also have a drive thru..haven't tried it personally.

Stopped in here on the way home from work (Reston to Haymarket) for an iced coffee to keep the old eyelids propped open. The place feels a little more modern and a little less cozy compared to when it was a Caribou Coffee. Plenty of seating is available. My iced coffee was delicious and hit the spot!

Updated review- I visited and ordered the banana bread and it had a grey slimy something in it and when I called they said "oh that's just the banana". Ok ma'am, I do not eat grey and slimy banana pieces in my banana bread and don't think you all should be serving it! I am very disturbed they thought this was ok to sell to customers.

Good coffee. Service is good. Limited food options but it's a coffee shop. Not a huge amount of table space.

try lowering instead of raising the price of a large coffee. $7 is just ridiculous for a cup of coffee.

Came here with my son after riding a 2 mile trail on our bikes. He insisted that I review that this place had great decor and ambiance.

The flavors were really good except for the raspberry white chocolate in my opinion. The madeleine nitro on the other hand, was amazingggg!!! The flight was reasonably priced and a good way to try a bunch of flavors! They do have a limited amount of seating so I don't think this would be a good place to get work done but it's definitely great for chatting!

Call me old fashioned, but that's not when I need my coffee.) We were on a work trip and from out of town. The cashier answered a few of our questions and allowed my coworker to customize his drink -- I usually order "off the rack" my first time anywhere since I believe it gives them a chance to show me how they think it should be done. I think everyone else in line was a regular, so it seems to be a popular place with a good local following. The pastry I ordered -- a croissant -- was a little garlicky from having been in the case near the garlic/everything bagels, I think. I like garlic, but some people may not. I'd filled up on black coffee at the hotel, so I ordered a latte here with cardamom in it. That added some nice warmth to the drink and helped combat the sweetness. Personal preference note: my drink was sweeter than I usually like, so this is a reminder to me when I go back, to have them adjust that a bit.

The staff is always really nice when you walk in, everything is clean, and service is super quick. I love that they keep their regular favorites but are always adding new things too. My niece is obsessed with their lemonade drinks, and I swear I've tried almost everything else on the menu at this point. Pistachio milk tea, Thai milk tea, matcha, green tea, black tea... all good. I usually do less sugar, and it still tastes great. I can genuinely say I've never had a bad drink here. Also, random but cool, I recently noticed they have ramen now that you can heat up, which I did not expect. Love seeing a small local place keep evolving. Always happy to support them.

We finally opted for the caramel banana croffle which we enjoyed. To drink we had the pina colada smoothie. Again, it was really hard to choose because there were so many good options. We also had a café mocha which was fine but not very hot. The logo design is enough to make you smile. But, when you look at all the great choices, it is understandable why there was a steady stream of young and old alike the day we were there. We will definitely be back when we are in the area to try another croffle, or bubble tea or.... So hard to choose!
