Visited Peet's Coffee for the first time in my life! There aren't any locations by me but when I saw there was one a mile away from where I was visiting, I had to go. I love that Peet's has so many vegan options both for drinks and food. I had their "everything plant based sandwich" and I think it was the best vegan breakfast sandwich I've ever had! The vegan egg and sausage tasted pretty authentic and they were cooked properly. Even the vegan cheese tasted like it was good quality. It didn't leave a filmy texture behind in my mouth. Would definitely be back for the sandwich. I felt that service was pretty fast, someone took my order through the drive through immediately after I pulled up to the speaker, and I received my food pretty quickly once I got to the next window. I did go during the morning rush however, so there were nearly six cars in front of me in line. read more

Been here a couple times, it's what you would expect for a chain coffee place. Taking that into consideration I do like Peet's coffee. However, this experience wasn't the best. There was a good amount of staff, a lot of drink mistakes were being made in the weight appeared to be longer than it should have. This will be fine if someone was training, but others should've stepped in and helped a little bit more. Had the Havana cappuccino, it was good but a weak cinnamon taste. Terrible Service at Peet's Coffee, Brambleton** I had a really bad experience at Peet's Coffee today. I placed my order, sat right in front of the cashier, and waited 10 minutes for my drink. When I asked the waitress about it, she rudely told me my payment didn't go through and acted like it was my fault for not noticing. I was sitting there the whole time, and she could've just told me! This Pete's is in a great spot. Both their coffee and food is delicious.. and their service is decent. If you need something quick, this might not be the stop for you, however. This is the closest Peet's to me so I stop by regularly. Don't know why it took so long to review. For those who don't know, Peet's is a chain that originated in Berkeley, CA. Like Starbucks they have various different coffees available for sale. Unlike Starbucks if you like the beans you can buy them in whatever quantity you want scooped up fresh. My favorite so far is the Major Dickason's Blend. If you're looking for a rich smooth cup of coffee this is a great option. If you don't want to brew it, it's available in K cups too. Also like the other famous chain they offer various types of food so you can enjoy a snack with your coffee. This particular Peet's is a bit small but there are lots of tables and comfy seats for getting work done or relaxing. They also sell anything you could need to go with your beans including French press and pour over pots, mugs etc Bonus if your method of preference is Nespresso they also offer their coffee in Nespresso pods. Besides great coffee they offer every variety of Mighty Leaf tea. And you can buy your own if you find one you love. Great spot for great coffee and a relaxing chat with friends and the baristas are the best! Taking the time to go the extra mile with fancy latte art and customizations! read more

This is an amazing Peet's! I've visited many Peet's and this one is unique, they get super busy with the drive-through while still taking care of their inside customers. The employees are friendly, have fun and keeping a positive attitude. The cancer are diverse and generally enjoy coming in. The inside seats 25 as well as outside seating. read more

Stopped in here on the way home from work (Reston to Haymarket) for an iced coffee to keep the old eyelids propped open. The place feels a little more modern and a little less cozy compared to when it was a Caribou Coffee. Plenty of seating is available. My iced coffee was delicious and hit the spot! read more

It isn't the best coffee ever, bit it's nice having a drive thru near by. I personally like my lattes sweet and am not a fan of their syrup- can't really taste it in the drinks. I don't enjoy paying for a vanilla latte when I can't taste vanilla. They do have good customer service and provided me with a "coupon compensation" package when the first drink I ordered there tasted terrible. I really appreciated that. So far I haven't had any drinks that have wowed me, but I will probably keep going just because they are the only drive-thru near me. I have to say I like Starbucks better, but a lot of people seem to prefer Peet's so really you just have to give it a try and see which you prefer. read more

Decided to check out the newest addition to the Brambleton Town Center that opened just this past week. This location used to be a Caribou, but recently got bought out and the change finally took place. The drive-thru seemed up and working still. It was interesting as they were advertising coconut drinks and and even had billboard for them, but were all out of coconut when I tried to order. Maybe because they were new or maybe just really popular the first week they were open??? I dunno. I was a little bummed and ended up settling for a hot chocolate as I am not that into "coffee" anyway. The hot chocolate is really good. I would say better than Caribou (yuck) and better than Starbucks for sure. My daughter liked it and snagged most of my drink....I knew I should not have gotten a small. ;) They had pastries galore and cookies that were the size of my 6 year old's head! My daughter ordered a scone and claimed it tasted like a rock, but then again don't all scones? The m & m cookie was good, but could have certainly have used more m & m's to really make it a m & m cookie. They also had items like Greek yogurts as well. The seating is okay. Maybe 5 or 6 tables and two comfy chairs. Will I come back? Sure...but hopefully next time they will have the ingredients to make the special drink they are advertising! :) read more

When I go to a coffee shop I expect to be greeted warmly and be in a non-offensive environment. Pete's in Brambelton town center meets neither of these expectations. They insist on asking if you want to tip them in a way that feels they expect it. I might give them one if they lost the BLM pins on their uniforms. Please keep your politics to yourself please! This place has gone downhill. You pay for a large 20 oz. they hand you a medium claiming its a large. The bottom of the cup says 16 oz. This has happened numerous times. Did the large size get adjusted for inflation...I got a medium spouse got a large and it was the same size. read more

I stopped past this coffee shop while waiting on my food a few doors down. This was my first time ever stepping foot into a Peets coffee. It does give off a Starbucks vibe with nic nacks for sale and an order and pick up counter. This location even has a drive through. Since this was my first time, I wanted to get something close to what I usually order from starbucks. I asked the gentleman behind the counter if the white chocolate mocha was sweet. He kinda hesitated but he said that its sweeter than the other drinks. I ended up ordering this based off of his experience. I got a medium which costed a little over 5 bucks. After taking the first sip all I tasted was the yummy whipped cream but a few sips down I finally got to the mocha. I didnt think it was sweet at all. In fact I felt the only sweetness added was the whipped cream. Sometimes I think the white chocolate mocha from starbucks is too sweet but this mocha wasnt sweet enough. I did finish it because I was dying for my coffee fix. Maybe I'll try this place again and add my own sweetener to my liking in the future. read more

It's the only drive-through near here so that's something to be said for it. I get how they only set out so many baked good as day ( though as I understand they're all frozen pre-prepared?) so I get why they run out of stuff a lot. I can accept that. The thing that bugs me most is why does their green iced tea taste overwhelmingly of bubblegum? I ordered it twice now. I thought maybe the first time something had been wrong with it, because why would green tea taste like that intentionally? But no. Friendly, quick staff, coffee is decent, & hallelujah! it's not a Starbucks! I've been here twice on two individual friends' referral. The first time, coffee tasted great (ordered a medium Mayan mocha, half sweet, extra shot), & they forgot to charge me for my extra shot, which, when I brought it to their attention, they kindly gave it to me at no charge. Second time was this morning, ordered the exact same item, coffee was much too sweet for what I asked & with the cost of an extra shot they are far more expensive than Starbucks. They seem to have a different person taking the order than the one running the (drive thru) register, & the order gets lost in translation. Just love these employees! And yes, the coffee goes without saying is superb, no comparison to Starbux. I seriously come here for the great welcomes, the smiles and the "pay it forward," efforts. At times I pull up, ok, pretty often, through the drive theough with my 3 little yorkies...Tank, Diesel and Stella and they just love when we pull up because they get doted on!!! And they get a treat so the pups even love it! They are efficient, lines move fast and even when they are their busiest they don't compromise customer service.... Very friendly staff - the women that helped me was patient and the women working the drive through was chatting with everyone's children and pups (furry children). As far as the wifi complaints - you must be trying to stream something, regular internet surfing is more than good. Now the coffee, I ordered an iced white chocolate mocha with ALMOND MILK. Yum! Stopped for breakfast while running errands in Brambleton. I was starved. Ordered a Holiday Latte because it sounded good, and a bacon cheddar biscuit. The coffee was lousy, barely drinkable once I loaded up with milk and sweetener. The biscuit wasn't a biscuit at all, it was a panini sandwich and they served it to me frozen in the middle. When I pointed that out, I was told they were all like that and asked if I wanted anything else. I was disgusted. I guess they don't have a way to heat the sandwiches other than a warming drawer that takes forever??? I don't know. Anyway - I left hungry and irritated. I won't be back. read more

This is what a great coffee shop should be like. First of they know their coffee. They will have a good conversation with you when you order beans. Tell them what you like and they'll help you find something yummy to the make in the mornings. Ask for a flat white and they'll ask you if you want a real Australian flat white. This was my first visit to a Peet's anywhere and unfortunately, it wasn't the best. When I walked in, there were three people working, the girl at the register, the barista, and a guy at the drive through. None acknowledged me, which actually surprised me since I am used to that at Starbucks and Caribou. Granted, I was sweaty, just finished a run on a Saturday morning and I am sure they are used to the ladies coming in for coffee. Still, should have been greeted immediately with a "hi, we'll be right with you." I don't expect anyone to drop what they're doing but a greeting goes a long way. Getting to my coffee, I love iced coffee. I've frequently gotten ones that I liked from Starbucks and Dunkin, so I was interested in trying Peet's. I was glad to see they carried coconut milk. when I got my coffee though, I realized they used coconut milk that had sugar in it. I had specified that I didn't want sugar, but didn't have her look at the label. Since I paid nearly $5 for the coffee, I asked for another one. The girl behind the counter, feebly looked at the label and then conferred with the barista who ignored me completely. No smile from the Barista, just a 'ok we'll get you another' from the girl behind the register. Could I have asked if their coconut milk had sugar in it? Sure, but I made a mistake - a legitimate one since neither Starbucks nor Dunkin have sugar in the coconut milk they use. The reception I got, to me, was as if I had asked for something outlandish, or had been there every day complaining about my order. No smiles, no "that's no problem, we'll get you another." At the end of the day, this experience left me with a bad taste in my mouth, literally, and I won't likely return to this Peet's for any coffee. The atmosphere was nice and quiet, and the coffee was good once I got the right order. Perhaps the staff were having a bad day, but really it doesn't matter when you're in customer service, you must always put out your best for customers. read more
