Daughter got off, purchase the windshield washer fluid, me being mom decided to exit the truck to add the fluid. At same time Carlos passed by with a customer, he noticed me and right away opened the hood and assisted adding the washer fluid. So a Huge shout out to Carlos Chapman , not only was he a gentleman, he was very professional, handsome & polite, we don't get that often, so I'm very pleased to write a wonderful review, I've dealt with customers many years and I believe that no matter the situation, the customer is always a priority & that's exactly what Carlos did. So O'Reilly! You got yourself a great employee, value him, because now days it's not easy to find a worker, specially with management title to treat customers like this. While doing a routine oil change, I bought an air filter--their brand, Microgaurd--from this store about a week and a half ago. It was the wrong filter, and I couldn't return it right away because my Jeep was towed (bad alternator). When I did finally get around to returning the filter, and buying the right one, Chris, the store manager, wouldn't take the return without a receipt. Again, this was their mistake to begin with, and it was their brand of filter. Now I get it, his system was not registering the sale of that filter for the past three months, and I didn't have a phone number associated with the sale. But there WAS one of those filters (the wrong one) missing in his system. The long and the short of it is that Chris couldn't make the judgment that I wasn't conducting some elaborate scheme to steal $12 dollars from O'Reilly Auto parts without a receipt. This is an example of being unable to break out of a bureaucratic system and have a relationship with your customers. They made a mistake, I had to return to their store to correct that mistake, and because their system wasn't registering their mistake (again, that is their problem) I am out $12. I know: it's just twelve dollars, and my kids aren't going to starve. But I have already told my friends to stay away from O'Reilly Auto Parts, and I won't shop there again. I'll go somewhere where I can make a joke with the man behind the counter, and where they will treat me less like a thief, and more like a customer. There are plenty of other games in town.

This place is a hot mess. When you drive up, it doesn't look like much and the parking lot is…read morecompletely packed. People are stopped in the lanes waiting for someone to pull out so they can get a parking spot. I park a couple doors down to get a spot. Then you walk in. There's 10-15 chairs off to your left, a counter in front of you and the cashier off to the way left. You stand in line and wait to get to the counter and it's like a mad house in there. People yelling stuff behind the counter, people rushing left and right, carrying hoods and fenders and car parts out to their cars and of course, people talking way too loud on their cell phones I finally get up to the counter and I tell the lady: "I need a front bumper for a 2005 Dodge Neon, no fog lights." She takes my info and quotes me the price and someone else comes up to the counter and says something. She says something unintelligible back and then cusses and then runs back to the warehouse area. 3-4 minutes later, she says she's sorry for making me wait. "No worries," I say, "Is it always this busy in here?" "Yes. Sometimes it's even crazier." She prints up the ticket and directs me to the cashier where I pay and they tell me to wait for my name to be called. I sit down in a chair and watch their TV. World Series of Poker is on and there were a couple good hands that happened while I was watching. Finally they call my name and it doesn't sound right at all. Be ready for the worst pronunciation of your name ever. Don't say I didn't warn you. All in all, the prices here can't be beat. Get your car parts here.
