Well I'm glad we stopped here. I love it! My jalapeño burger is perfectly spicy. The chili cheese fries are great. My daughter is usually picky about chicken tenders but she likes them and of course she loves her dirt and worms cup. The girls at the front were very friendly and the food came out fast. The tables were all clean. I have no complaints. Definitely will be a go to stop when we come into town again.

On the way back from Louisville my 15 year old son wanted to eat hear based on what he heard about it. I figured it wouldn't hurt me to try it either. The food was really good! I got #1 combo-double meat burger with cheese lettuce onion pickle. I loved how they did the pickle slices. I liked how thin the burgers were. I don't typically eat fries either, but these shoestring style were good. My son got a bacon cheeseburger and he loved his as well. For desert I tried a chocolate milk shake and my son had a brownie concrete. I have never had such a chocolate experience. After trying one of their shakes I don't know how anyone could have one from McDonald's. Now, it will probably be months before I come here again or I may never, just because I don't regularly consume this type of fare, but it gets a 10/10 for me and for sure would eat this before McDonald's or Burger King or any other fast food! The service was relatively quick around 12:30pm on Wednesday. The drive thru line was long so we went in and there wasn't a wait. We had to wait a little bit for our ice cream but I understand that is due to how they make it. The staff was friendly and I liked the interior. I noticed an electric outlet at each booth and they had custard in a freezer to go. They have outdoor seating which looked nice too.

We're traveling south to Birmingham and around lunchtime we were looking for someplace to eat. Not wanting the mass marketed chains (because we have more driving to do) we noticed a Culver's on Yelp and decided to give it a try. Glad we did. Being burgerfiles, my wife and I tried the Butter Burger, because our friend Bryan told us this was Culver's signature burger. I didn't get to see them make it, but when I took a bite I didn't need to. Wow. For a fast food, quick burger this was good. The patty looked like it had been pressed with one of the presses they use from Waffle House, creating a tasty seared top to the patty. The buns were fresh tasting and toasted inside while the lettuce, tomatoes and onions were cold and crispy. Honestly, expectations for it were about at a medium- but I left filled and looking forward to a return trip where I can try the frozen custard. I mean- Creamy Lemon Crumble... TAKE MY MONEY! I'll be back.

I will say the McChicken tastes different these days, kind of tough not spongy anymore. Almost like a mix of the McCrispy and McChicken would be the best way to describe it. I only get 30 minutes so I like to pick places that are quick and cheap enough not to break the bank. This sold me of course because who doesn't love garlic bread? I left so stuffed. I wanted to go home and nap. Of course I couldn't. I had to go back to work but you get my point. It's not often you can find good food under $10 and walk away wishing you wore stretchy pants. I will definitely be partaking in some Italian food in the future.

I got the 10 mini corn dog meal with cheese curds and a root beer, and my husband got one of the burger meals with Sriracha cheese curds. We realized they put his cheese curds with my meal when I took a bite and was like... Why are these spicy? (And at that point he had accidentally ate half of mine, oops) We ended up ordering an additional cheese curds order because of that and it was also hot and fresh. This is a combined A&W / Long John Silvers so we were also to get some of the LJS hush puppies. The big problem here are the floors - it has been raining a lot today and they were SUPER slippery, even in the bathroom (I had to do a penguin walk of sorts so I didn't slip). Hopefully they'll work on improving those.
