My friend and I ate at Zaxby's when we were in Bardstown last week and it was a good experience. The employees were really friendly. It took us a bit to get our food but when we got it, it was hot and fresh. The wings were good. The tenders were a bit small but good. The fries weren't anything special. They did let us know that if we left a review at Google, we'd get a free shake. Which we did. The shakes were good. It was okay. Not sure if I would go out of my way to go here again though. read more

When walking in, the dining area was clean and the drink area was stocked. The staff were friendly but there was a lot of laughing coming from the back like they were having a good time instead of working. The food came out quickly and it was correct. I ordered the Cobb Zalad, always my go-to. I had to remove all of the toppings and go through the lettuce to remove all of the black pieces, which ended up being over a quarter of my salad. If I pay 11.99 (which doesn't include a drink) then I'd like to be able to eat all of it. By the time I finished going through it, everyone at the table was almost done with their meals and my chicken and bread were ice cold. If you want chicken in Bardstown, I would recommend somewhere else. It's been almost 5 years since I've been to this place and the quality has definitely gone down while the price went up. Two stars only because of the nice girl at the counter who stayed busy cleaning the whole time we were there. read more

Come on, guys. If we're paying $12 for a basic salad, we shouldn't have to take out half of the lettuce. It's rotten. Who would want to eat that? There is nowhere in Bardstown to get a decent salad under $15 and it's so extremely frustrating. Please do better, this is very disappointing and I'll be thinking twice before coming back to get a quick dinner. read more

While in Bardstown on night one, we needed something quick and good. Score. Score. I've been to a ton of Zaxby's because it's one of my go to fast food favs. I always scope out the menu and as usual, I was tempted to stray from my norm, but I kept the willpower and stuck with the Bleu Zalad... just like I always get. I request it plain grilled chicken. The menu says it comes buffaloed or blacked, both are too spicy for me. The grilled chicken was piping hot, which I appreciated. The salad also comes while buttered toast, which is fantastic and one of my favorite things about Zaxby's one of a kind salads. There was not a lot of bleu cheese in it though. I love their fries, so my husband usually saves me a few. Perfectly season salted. But he barely touched them because he likes them on the crispy side. They were very soft. On the crisp night of Halloween, my best friend and I wanted nothing more than Canes, but they weren't open so we went to Zaxby's. All I can really say is that is just isn't Canes. We got into the drive thru line with nothing but optimism and hunger, as you can tell by my two stars, we were fairly disappointed. After waiting a lengthy period of time, our food was finally brought out. We were overwhelmed with joy that our rumbling stomachs would soon be satisfied, only to find they forgot the sauce that was pictured with the meal. After waiting in line again for sauce, we finally got the opportunity to try it, just to taste what could be described as a wanna-be Canes sauce. Also we got a piece of toast instead of fluffy beautiful bread that canes gives. My advice, just go to Canes. read more

Delicious! Wish they had a Zaxby's in Idaho (hint hint corporate). Perfect size lunch. We got the boneless wings and bone in wings. Loved the hot honey mustard and sweet and spicy wings. Fries were great too! I didn't know which sauce to get so the lady at the counter said I could get the wings naked and sauce on the side. Very accommodating. Great service. This is just an average chicken place here in Bardstown. First off went through the drive through for myself, the service alright nothing over the top, the order taker was nice and all but never sounded nor acted over the top. I purchased chicken fingers and white cheddar fried bites. The chicken was under average size along with some dull tasting fries, for a price I would consider over priced. The fried cheese bites were good but nothing special, also over priced for the amount and size. They charge extra for the sauces, which I got the hottest and I did not seem to think it was hit, and was actually rather nasty. Second time for my girlfriend we went in. She too hot the fried cheese bites, once again the service was just average for town, nothing extravagant, and honestly an awkward order taker, but she was nice. The lobby is very nice. It was kept clean and a decent size, plenty of seats and a relaxed feeling within the lobby, the lights are dimmed. Overall it wasn't bad but it was not good. read more

Where should I start, oh I know where employees are arguing with each other like this one girl, I think her name tag said Kailia or something like that. I had the worse service. I mean I love the food there it's just how the employees treat each other like weird hand grabbing. Like for example, I think one of the mangers was grabbing one of their employees sexually like their 20s or 30s and the employee liked theirs still in highschool. The only problem I see at this place is how they treat each other and the customers. Their GEM needs to do something about this because this bad on their part and not good for the young worker. Went today with a group of 7. Tables and chairs slid across the floor the entire time we were eating...floor very greasy. Food was mediocre at best (even though on high price side of fast food). The drink machine wasn't functioning, so had to go to one machine for ice and another for the drink, at the end of the meal tried doing a refill and neither one worked. Had to get drinks refilled at the counter. Only positive was food came out fairly quick. read more
