The sandwich was very neat and not sloppy, easy to eat. But every new restaurant goes through an adjustment period, as it often takes months and even up to a full year for a restaurant's daily operations to fully settle. Publicly shaming a new business doesn't speed anything up nor does it help. It only discourages the employees from trying their best. If you're in a hurry, give it a little time and come back once the team has had a chance to get fully established. Expecting a brand‑new restaurant to run at full speed within a few weeks just isn't realistic. Some people have compared Bardstown to Elizabethtown's Chick‑fil‑A, but that's not a fair comparison. Elizabethtown already had an established location, so their new store could bring in experienced team members from day one. Bardstown started completely from scratch, with zero employees who had prior Chick‑fil‑A experience. Naturally, that means a longer learning curve.
