Well it's been a long time since we have visited Blaze cause we preferred the other establishment that recently closed. Now and I see why - 12.99 for a regular crust isn't bad but charging an extra $4 for a think crust is a bit much. The kicker was after ordering $60 with of pizza I ask for the drizzle sauce on the side since was going to be a little while before we ate the pizza with driving home and am informed I have to pay 79 cents per cup of sauce but if you drizzle it all over my pizza it's free. Got home to soggy crusts on the thick crust pizzas and burnt crust on the regular pizza. The garlic pesto cheesy bread very little cheese and pesto dry. Don't for see going here again anytime soon. read more

I've been a loyal Blaze customer for a while now, and since moving to Tracy, I've been a regular at this location. We always order takeout online and pick it up in-store--it's a smooth and seamless process. My go-to order? Cauliflower crust with garlic pesto sauce, shredded mozzarella, fresh mozzarella, Parmesan, grilled chicken, cherry tomatoes, fresh basil, green bell peppers, jalapeños, mushrooms, pineapple, red onions, spinach, and a drizzle of spicy chili oil, olive oil, and Frank's Red Hot Sauce, finished with sea salt and oregano--cooked well done. Occasionally, we add cheesy bread on the side. That said, the quality really depends on who's working the oven. It's been inconsistent, but there's one staff member (I wish I knew her name!) who absolutely nails it every time--when she's on, the pizza slaps. Other times, not so much. This Blaze Pizza is located inside the Tracy Marketplace, and has a good sized dining room and even offers some outdoor seating. The menu is your standard Blaza Pizza menu, with pre built pizza options, and of course the build your own customizable pizza option. The thing with this location is they seem to lack many of the topping selections you can choose from, compared to the Blaze Pizza in Fremont. While the price of the Pizzas here are definitely cheaper at this location, ($12.99 here, Fremont is $14.29), you would think they would still offer the same amount of selections when it came to the toppings you could add to your pizzas. The pizza we had custom built, was not the best, for some reason, it felt so much watery/liquidy on the bottom and not truly crispy. Perhaps it was due to all the veggies we had added onto the Pizza? The Cinnamon Pizza was delicious as tasty, however. I mean who doesn't like a sweet treat to end the meal? Also, they need to staff the restaurant with more people, we had gone on a Sunday afternoon, and Victoria served us. She was very polite and courteous, but she was working alone for the most part making all the Pizzas, while someone else was firing up the pizzas. They should staff more people, I think. It'd been a long time since hubby and I came here. I recall it used to be better. Unfortunately it took a very long time to wait in line to get our order taken because they were also preparing online orders. If you're doing both, I would expect the workers to pick up the pace a little!!! The staff worked at a such a slow pace as if there wasn't a super long line already formed. Then getting our pizza was a whole other ordeal of additional time. One guy kept asking if his pizza was done yet and he was there for a hella long time since we walked in. Makes a lot of sense why I go to MOD pizza and not Blaze. My online order was supposed to be ready for pick up at 12:57 pm. They didn't even start my order until 12:57 pm when they realized my order wasn't even made. Ridiculous for sure. They had my order slip on the counter. I even checked in with the girl with the nose ring and glasses. She looked at receipts and then left. That's where it ended. She didn't bother to check in my order. I guess leaving on a break or going home was more of a priority. So it gets better. Sarina or something similar is super slow. She walks around like she is wearing concrete Nikes. She pulls my pizza from the oven and instead of cutting them and getting them to me knowing they dropped the ball, she decides to get a box for a customer who wanted to take his pizza to go. The manager tried to compensate me by giving me some free pizza coupons which would have helped but unfortunately she didn't have anymore. She tried to hand me a buy one get one coupon but I declined. I might have gave them an opportunity to redeem themselves with a free pie but I am not about to spend my hard earned money using a buy one get coupon. I won't be back for sure. Sorry MOD pizza. Dear Blaze Pizza Customer Service, I am writing to express my disappointment and concern regarding an extremely poor experience I had at your Tracy, California location on the evening of May 2nd. I visited the store with my daughter and, from the moment we walked in, the service we encountered was unprofessional, unwelcoming, and completely unacceptable. When we arrived, there was only one guest ahead of me waiting to start her pizza order. Despite there being four team members on the floor (including the on-duty manager, Claudia), neither she nor I received any greeting or acknowledgment for at least 10 minutes. The line was moving slowly, and others were waiting at various stages of the process--from the register to the oven area--but no one addressed us or gave any indication that we would be helped soon. After an estimated 18-20 minutes, a staff member named Azaria finally approached me without a smile or greeting and said flatly, "How many pizzas in your order?" I responded that I'd be ordering one pizza, but also mentioned that a simple hello or thank-you for waiting would have been appropriate. Her response was rude and dismissive. Shockingly, when a team member nearby asked what was going on, Azaria responded--within earshot of other customers--"She's mad because no one said hello to her and she's been waiting." This comment was not only unprofessional but also unnecessarily belittling and inappropriate. Azaria then without saying anything more to me turned around, walked away from my daughter and I, and walked thru the line and into the back employee area/off the floor, and did not return during my visit. The team was left scrambling. Another associate, Jaye, was the only bright spot during this entire ordeal. He noticed the issue and immediately apologized, explaining it had been a chaotic night. He also apologized for her behavior. Despite being pulled in several directions assisting with pizza prep, helping at the oven, and trying to take new orders, he remained courteous, calm, and professional. Unfortunately, due to the disorganization, another 5-10 minutes passed before Jaye could take my order. In total, my daughter and I were there for over an hour. Adding to my concern was the behavior of the manager, Claudia. I attempted to speak with her while she was at the register, but she eventually disappeared from the front. When I saw her later walking through the dining area (while I was *STILL* waiting and hadn't even ordered my pizza yet), I asked if she was the manager, and she gestured as if cutting across her neck--apparently signaling that she was off duty and could not speak. She then left the restaurant and went outside the front door, leaving the already short-staffed Jaye and another employee, Jay, to manage the overwhelming demand on their own. Again, Azaria did not return before we left and by the time my daughter and I were leaving, Claudia had not returned either. Jaye and Jay both went above and beyond in trying to manage the situation. They apologized multiple times and tried their best under difficult circumstances. Honestly, Jaye should be promoted--he demonstrated far more leadership and professionalism than the person currently serving as manager. It's clear from other customer reviews that this is not an isolated incident at this location. I strongly urge you to investigate this matter, take appropriate corrective action regarding Claudia and Azaria's unprofessional conduct, and consider providing additional training to ensure all team members know how to treat customers with basic courtesy and respect. Lastly, I hope Blaze Pizza will take the opportunity to make this right by offering some form of compensation (such as Be Our Guest certificates or gift cards), so my family and I can give your brand another chance. When I crave for fresh Pizzas then Blaze Pizza it is. The staff is very friendly and this place is not so busy, we ordered pizza and it came out fresh and piping hot in few minutes. The staff is very generous with the toppings, sauce and the cheese. I felt it very filling and felt like homemade pizza. Great ambiance and very neatly maintained. Reasonable prices for the quality of the pizza. I ordered half veg and half chicken pizza with bbq sauce drizzle, it did not taste like the Dominos with lot of preservatives. This place has really gone downhill. They have half the toppings selection that they used to have. And topping area was a mess. No straws or napkins anywhere in the restaurant and the workers don't stay out front to ask them for one. The pizza still tasted decent with the small section of toppings. Quality and cleanliness was great, but I have had a few complaints about their service and especially customer service over the past couple of years. I went in person to participate in a school fundraiser and they left the two parties (me and another family) standing there for 43 minutes. Apparently they said something to the other family, but never said anything to me until I'd later when I complained at the cash register. They should have apologized or at least communicated the reason for the wait. They seemed to be ignoring us altogether. Their excuse? They "had" to make the online orders before the clock ran out on the fundraiser. While checking out, they apologized to the family before me, giving them a complimentary drink because of the wait, but me? I got nothing for standing for 45 minutes. The excuse was extremely LAME (nonsense), because they should have had an extra person making in store orders then helping to fulfil the fundraiser phone orders. At the very least, they should have processed the in-store patrons in a timely manner. The people at home were not standing the entire time! After that, I'd ordered online from a stoplight, and it wasn't ready (which I hadn't expected yet anyway) on arriving. I finally went to check after about a 30 to 40 minute wait. They'd forgotten to make my order yet had it on their little strip where the orders are tacked up--which made no sense. The last time I tried going nearly 2 months ago, I was still thinking the hours were 10 am-10 pm, so I dropped in at 8:50, and a lady was sweeping up and said they were closing, so she refused me. No wonder they'd been so empty lately! BAAAAD management is what that is! I really hope that they reopen with new management, as it definitely poor management (big lack of common sense in operating) types of mistakes. read more

I have been coming to this specific Blaze pizza since it has opened. I am severely disappointed with the quality of food and service over the past few years. Unfortunately, this location specifically has been degraded in quality. The employees are children who don't pay attention to customer service nor proper food handling etiquettes. This last time, we came for dinner at 8:30 and they had already put away their chairs and drinks for the night when closing time is at 10:00pm. Lastly, it was very dirty in there. I'm very happy with my order today from this Blaze location. I was starving and was trying to think of what I wanted, maybe something new since I'm not usually in Tracy, it's fun to try new places sometimes. After looking on Yelp and getting more and more hungry, I decided to go with what I already know is good and I wasn't disappointed. This location is just as good as my favorite location that I get pizza from approximately 2-3 times/wk. For the most part all the Blaze locations are pretty good, unless there's 1 person possibly working who may not be the friendliest, which doesn't usually happen. I can pretty much say that if you want good pizza with good quality toppings, cooked the way you like, then Blaze is a great place to always rely on. Most likely there will be one nearby wherever you are, and the hours are typically the same at all of them, staying open until atleast 9pm. I go to Blaze so much I take advantage of the points that you earn when you enter your receipts in to the app. You can earn drinks, cheese bread, desserts and even pizzas. I've been able to get a large pizza completely free 2-3 times now. They will make it with whatever toppings you choose as well. (I do believe that with the large pizzas there is a limit of toppings, but the limit is quite a bit. The regular size pizzas that are earned for free can be made with as many toppings as you'd like.) anyways it's a really good rewards program that's offered and you must definitely take advantage of this, free food is always good. Sometimes they offer items for free as well, so check the app each time ordering. You never know what may be waiting. Today I ordered 2 cheese pizzas with light white sauce and extra extra cheese. And I ordered 1 regular build your own that I tried to make like a combination. All items are to go of course. I eat on the pizzas throughout the week and toss my pieces of pizza in my air fryer as I want to eat because when using an air fryer the pizza tastes like it just came out of the oven at the restaurant. read more

Each dough gets flatten by a compressor, and you get to see that first when they take your order. They got lots of sauces and toppings to choose. And lastly, they show off panning your pizza into a fire blazing oven to cook your pizza. Then they ring you up at the cashier register. It's so entertaining. I was finally able to use my Pi Day offer too, and my total for my visit with 2 custom pizzas was about $19. The taste of the pizza was as I remember, which was pretty good considering it's price (compared to competitors like Dominos or Pizza Hut). However, in terms of service, they had forgotten arugula on one of the two pizzas. My order also took about 10 minutes longer than I had anticipated. I did however appreciate the convenience of having curbside pickup since it made things a lot easier however. My experience overall was quite average, I wasn't completely impressed with their customer service either but I'll likely make another visit since I enjoy their food. read more

Came to this location and it's slow, just as a hundred other reviews said. Timed my entire visit and it took 30 minutes to even start my order. Mind you, there were only THREE pizza orders in front of me. Total time from entry to leaving was about 53 minutes for three pizzas and one cheesy bread. Obviously, it seems like management doesn't care about the reviews because multiple people have stated this issue over the months and there hasn't been a change. Either hire more people or train your people to work at 1x speed rather than 0.5x speed. I don't usually leave reviews, but this is the third time it's happened to me. Also, I tried ordering online to avoid this issue, but it didn't work. I've been to many other Blaze Pizzas and this is the only one that has consistently shown extremely slow service. read more
