The thick crust pizzas are five star and the thin crust pizza was three stars. That was our experience but my parents had two thin crust pizzas and they were one star, I can't get them to go back. Be sure you order the thick crust and you will love it the thin crust is good some places but not here we tried three times and thin crust here was not good but the thick crust was excellent. Parking was easy and bathroom was clean. Restaurant was clean and staff was friendly. Also worth noting if you like to munch on ice the ice dispenser is awesome and the ice is soft and pure, if nothing else I would go back for that. read more

I love build your own pizza places. And I like Blaze, I have been to several and I have been to this one twice so far. Each time, no matter when I go, it's so busy and it seems they have not figured out how to make it go quickly. It's taken me 30 minutes to make it through the line just to finish my order to get the pizza in the oven. In SLO on Foothill, go in at lunch rush and it won't take half that long. So I know it can be done. Their loyalty program (they being Blaze) does not work at this location so you have to physcially save your receipts??? What's the point of the app. fix it. That's silly. The pizza is good, but that's becuase I chose the toppings. I get the Gluten Free crust which I like and think has good flavor. But the wait time is unecessarily long. Fix the effeciency, and the loaylty programs and I'll be all about this location. read more

After a day of wine tasting, we had the pleasure of having a nice casual takeout dinner - pizza, salad, and a garlic/pesto "doughnut hole". Our custom pizza was great - numerous toppings on our red sauce pizza which included green, peppers, onions, olives, and pepperoni. Also, either turn the music down or teach the pizza makers to speak up because it's impossible to hear what they are asking. I hate asking "what?" multiple times. I'll start by saying that pizza is my favorite food ever. I was excited by the concept of Blaze. We went about 1:45 on a Wednesday. It was not crowded at all. The staff was very nice and explained how it all worked. I did the 2 topping pizza because I like to try a basic one when I go to a new pizza place. The roasted garlic had no taste. The bacon bits were fine, but the red sauce was boring and there was hardly any cheese at all. My partner had the BBQ chicken pizza. It was okay, but just okay. We both felt the pizzas lacked any depth of flavor and were just meh. I didn't eat even half of it and, in a very strange move for me, I didn't ask for a box. I have been a big supporter of Blaze Pizza. But the last 4 out of 5 times I've ordered have been horrible. This evening I placed an online order before leaving work for a large simple pie and pesto garlic cheese bread. I checked the order before leaving. The pizza was black on the bottom. The pesto garlic cheese bread had no pesto no garlic and no sauces. The guy said they'd remake the pizza and add pesto to the cheese bread. Well not good enough because it was supposed to have garlic too. I ordered ahead so I could just go home. No apology. Seemed annoyed that I wanted it all made right so I asked for a refund. I would expect a manager would contact me to try to fix it but no one came. I've gone to corporate at this point. Customer service was not good. First of all.... I was really excited to get a Blaze Pizza in our area. We love to visit Pieology when we're out of town. Blaze is even better. It's one of my favorite places to take my son and let him pick his own toppings. However, the last 2 times we were there (most recently Monday night). The service is so slow! I thought the whole idea of this place is supposed to be quick service. We were in like with only 4 people in front of us for 25 minutes! There was a young guys working at a snails pace! It Took him 5 minutes just to get me a side salad. This makes the experience awful since I'm trying to deal with my very bored 3 year old the whole time. We have had two good experiences here so far. It takes a little time to order your pizza so it's nice that they have an app to order your pizza ahead of time. Your location near Target was really convenient tonight. Last time I came in you had something going on, really busy. So busy that pizzas were being piled on top of each other as customers waited. Several people walked out your door with the wrong order. Tried you again tonight. The crust is burned at the edges and in spots near the middle. I ordered dough knots. Food contamination central. If you have food allergies or dietary restrictions I don't advise eating here. My girlfriend and I (both vegetarians) ate here last night and both feel terrible today. Had we not asked them to switch their gloves after handling meat, the employees would have used the same gloves on everything. Even though the girl was nice enough to switch gloves for us, it didn't seem to make a difference as ALL the workers were interchangeably switching jobs and touching everything; dough, meat, cheese, veggies, pens, the dough machine, etc etc. The girl with glasses even kept pushing back her glasses and touching her face/nose with the back of her hand, while that may seem clean (using the back of your hand instead of your palm) it's still not sanitary. Looking back now it probably didn't matter that they switched gloves because they already touched all the veggies with meat contaminated hands, long before we our request. I've been to many other places like this, PizzaRev for instance is stellar at making sure their employees full on switch gloves if they touch anything other than vegetables or have one person assigned to meats and another to veggies. Their whole assembly line was a mess, the pizza cutters were covered in previous pizza scraps (likely covered in meat juice) and the counters in every spot had food laying around on them. We should of listened to or gut and left when we started noticing this stuff, but now our guts are paying for it today. All fresh ingredients and individual service to add as much or little of the things you want (including on their signature pizzas, go ahead, add something extra to it). They have a nice variety of beverages. Not to mention they have a gluten free crust option! No Judgement! Service here is sooo slow! Won't be back. The place was empty and employees just stood around doing busy work but not helping customers. When one of the staff finally addressed me he said he had to change his gloves which was quite the spectacle. After his hands were sufficiently clean and gloves properly applied did he then proceed to fold, oh I don't know maybe 30 order form in front of me and the now 10 people that had lined up behind me since entering the store. We stopped in for the first time on a Wednesday night around 6 p.m. It took about 15 minutes to order and get the finished product but it was entertaining to watch the assembly line workers. All of the ingredients were fresh. Now for the verdict on the taste: Excellent. Thin crust and tomato sauce. My wife had their version of a margherita pizza and I had the one topping (sausage) with extra sauce and some minced garlic. I hope corporate reads this.... I couldn't be happier with experience tonight at Blaze . Outstanding employees and management I am currently on oxygen and can get confused easily. I was in line directly behind my mom. Zack, took my Order and was very precise about it. I told him I am gf/ df. He wrote out my order on the wax paper. Then , he proceeded to place a red sticker as. A warning to employees to make sure my order is safe Then, The guy in front of my mom fell onto her. I get very confused. I didn't know what was happening, my son who was next to me, caught my mom and held her and the guy until we got further assistance. The employees were there in a flash. The guy hadn't eaten all day and it was very hot. The employees got him pineapple juice. With assistance from a medical professional and my son, the guy walked to the table. Luckily my mom was okay. 911 was called, it was very concerning and confusing. Even through all of this commotion. No employee panicked nor customer. All was calm. It was quite impressive. I reiterated to Stefan and Dillon, young employees who were making my pizzas that I am gf/ df and I get very sick if I eat gluten. Bad visit tonight. Normally this is a great spot for a quick, fresh pizza at a fair price. Tonight service was poor. Lots of people scurrying around behind the counter, but only one person making pizzas. Naturally he seemed a bit flustered. Pizza crust was super thin (more so than normal) and cheese was scarce and only on one side of the pizza.
