To the person/manager in charge of the DoorDash app: Please update your ETA and add at the minimum 15 min. Or 20+ if necessary. The reason why you always have drivers show up super early is because whoever is in charge of the DoorDash app has the ETA set way too early, which helps no one. The drivers do not get paid for time, so when you have them show up 15+ min early they're literally losing money waiting around unnecessarily. And I'm sure the employees don't appreciate all the mad looks from the drivers waiting around. If the pizza takes 30+ min (or an hour if you're busy), that's totally fine ... But set the ETA accordingly. There's many, many DoorDash drivers at the AV mall waiting for orders and when you set the ETA too early they will be there in a minute only to have them wait sometimes 30+ min. The fix is simple: just add at least 15+ min to the ETA and when it's super busy consider adding 20-30+ min. I hate to leave a one star but as soon as it's fixed, which should take like 1-2 min in the app settings, I'll change it back to 5 stars. read more

Blaze is extremely inconsistent with their pizzas. Half the staff is extremely rude, and although I've had a few good pizzas there, half of the time it looks like this. We love coming in to order and the service is always good but today I ordered 3 pizzas through the mobile app for in store pick up. All three pizzas barely had any toppings. On two pizzas I had barley one piece of the meatball on all slices and the third pizza was burnt and had barely any sauce or cheese that you could see the crust under the skimpy 4 toppings we got. For $42.96 I would have expected a little bit more than a pinch of all toppings asked for on all our pizzas. Especially since we don't ask for more than a couple toppings on our pizzas. I also requested pesto sauce on my crust in the comment section and I didn't get it (please don't have the comment section open if they aren't going to even read it.) This is the second time I've had this issue from ordering on the mobile app but I have a newborn baby so it is more convenient to just pick up. I understand inflation and everything but $12.99 for getting literally nothing on our pizzas is crazy. Maybe instead of ordering online here, consider dominoes or even Little Cesar's...at least they'll give you what you pay for. read more

Ah, Blaze pizza. Taking the customization of Chipotle, and applying it to a perfect, thin crust pizza. I cannot state how much of a godsend this place is when you have kids. Have you ever had 3 kids try and come to an agreement on what pizza toppings to get? I swear it's a miniature version of the Crusades. "I want pepperoni!" "Over my dead body! We're getting sausage and mushrooms, or your phone takes a bath!" "Cheese is the only thing needed on a pizza, you heathens!" You get the picture. Either way, my wife and I stopped in today, specifically to try their Keto pizza crust. The woman helping us behind the counter pulled out something that resembled a bag of wood shavings used to line a hamster cage, tossed a bit of wood glue in with it, put it through a hydraulic press, and then cut it into a disc with a skill saw. We got our usual toppings and took a seat to wait for our healthy option pizza! When it arrived, it was...interesting. The cheeses had fully melted. The proteins were properly browned and warmed, and the vegetables smelled delicious. The wooden disc however, looked like it had gone through atmospheric reentry, and was none the worse for wear. I shrugged, grabbed a slice and took my first bite. All the moisture in my mouth was immediately sucked in to the crust, turning my tongue into a desert, not unlike the Mojave. As I chewed, the crust began to flake away in my mouth, like disintegrating cardboard...mixed with pocket lint. It's healthy, because it's a an exercise of pure willpower to continue to eat a pizza made with this crust. A lesser person would have given up after one slice; but having been married to my exes, I had already been through hell and come out the other side. After a long and continuous pep-talk "You can do this. This pizza will NOT win. Not today!", I managed to finish my meal, with no small sense of pride and accomplishment. Long and short, Blaze is great. Avoid the keto pizza crust. It goes through your system, and comes back to haunt you 3 hours later. (Benefiber can't hold a candle to this thing) Good luck! read more

The customer service at this location sucks. First, you have to wait for someone to take your order. Then you wait for someone to press out the dough for your pizza. Then you wait for someone else to add the sauce and cheese. Then you wait for yet someone else to add your toppings. And then someone else rings you up. There are always employees standing around, but they're not helping you build your pizza because it's not their station. Also, every time I have come here, I see all new faces. This place has a revolving door when it comes to employees, and it's clear that the employees are not properly trained. And the managers are rude. One tried to send a customer away 15 minutes before closing time. But that customer wasn't having it and called the manager out. Do better Blaze. Ordered 4 pizzas on doordash last night. I just was very happy that Blaze was open later than other restaurant and was excited to get some late night food for the family. They were busy, which I understand makes things more difficult, but it was not a good experience. First, they burned my wife's order and I had to ask them to redo it. I can't believe they were even willing to hand me the charred disk that they originally created. They also forgot her salad. My pizza was ready, so they gave it to me and I asked for my wife's salad so that she could have something to eat while they remade her pizza order. The staff said they would bring it over to the table as soon as he got it ready. So I sat down, and began to eat and wait. And wait. And wait. They never did bring the salad. They never did call our name for the order. I had to go back and ask again in order to be given the food, and still had to ask them to add a missing element. The blaze pizza at the Antelope Valley mal needs a new manager. They do give customers someone's else pizza not paying attention often. For PI day they have a sale going on and we were lied straight to the face by the manager along with a few other employees. Saying that it's more then one time special, we repeatedly asked if we could do this special more then once. They continued to say yes and promote their sale. We come back the next day wondering why there's not a single person there and it's because all the sudden the deal doesn't last all month having the app even though we repeatedly asked if it was a one time thing. Not a problem for me and my colleague as there was plenty of space to set up shop in and around the sleeping beauty. Restaurant claims to only allow 10 people at a time due to covid regulations however there was well over 20 people in at once. This is my 3rd and final chance going to Blaze. When they opened they were awesome, had good pizza, and the service and teamwork there was great. I have gone back 2 times previous to this one just now and man has it gone downhill. The first time they barely put anything on my pizza and just treated us as if they wanted us out. Second time they messed up my mobile order and had me waiting for like 20 mins. This last time I went over on my lunch break and waited in line for about 20 mins before having to leave because the line had not moved at all. This review is for Lancaster. I love the concept of the Build Your Own and the getting it as a half with a salad. Amazing! However, the staff is incredibly immature. Watched them argue with each other about who does what. They kept going to the back, leaving the customers alone in the front. The staff is not customer service focused; it was all about them. I waited for my premade salad--which took longer than the pizza, because they were yelling at each other to get it. I would understand better if they were busy, they were not: only one guy behind me in line and a sparse sprinkling of customers seated. It took 40 minutes for my To Go order to be handed to me. I will drive to Palmdale's Pizza Rev from now on as it takes less time. I recommend that this location hire adults. read more

We ordered two build your own pizzas, paid, got our drinks, and sat down. My pizza was ready promptly. My husband's never showed up. He finally walked up to ask about it and then they realized it was gone. The employees didn't seem to care too much. They refunded us for the one pizza (in cash instead of putting it back on the card???) and gave us a free pizza coupon. Pretty inconvenient that this happened right before Blaze got super crowded. We didn't have time for them to remake it. My husband had to go elsewhere to get some food (Dog Haus next door is great). The pizza itself was fine. The crust leaves something to be desired. It just doesn't taste like anything. At all. The toppings were good although not distributed evenly (I.e. all my chopped garlic was in a pile). Mod Pizza (none around Palmdale, but one in NoHo right near home for me) is WAY WAY WAY better. Trust me. If you ever have the chance to try it you should! A bit pricier but well worth it. After trying Pizza Rev, I didn't really have high hopes for this place (since the two are similar) but I was pleasantly surprised. Blaze Pizza bets Pizza Rev, hands down! The taste and value is better at Blaze Pizza. The only thing Pizza Rev had over this place was the Coke machine with a 100 favors, which is no biggie for me. And the customer service here is top notch. First impressions go a long way. The pizza I ordered got burnt - not only did they offer to make a replacement pizza at no extra charge, we got to keep the burnt pizza as well. (The first pizza was still edible and we were able to eat most of it, so not a total waste.) Pricing: -Build your own $7.95 (as many toppings you want) -One topping $6.45 (perfect for me since I usually get a pepperoni pizza; Pizza Rev makes you pay for toppings, whether it's one or more) -Cheese only $5.45 Gluten-free dough and vegan cheese are available, though the menu board didn't specify if there was an extra charge. Parmasian cheese, red peppers, as well as Tabasco sauce and oregano are readily available to add yourself. I've never seen oregano available at any pizza place. Update: I have been given a gift card for a free pizza and will be back when I can to try this place again! Still impressed by their service. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the staff, who continued to be very friendly and attentive the whole night. The customer service was awesome. And while waiting in line, you can see the pizza dough being made which was interesting and I'm sure a big hit for kids. The pizza, however, I only thought was okay. The crust was super thin (to be able to cook to fast) which I don't like, but im sure would be awesome for those who do. The servers were also very scarce with the toppings - I asked for Italian meat ball and the guy put maybe two on there. The wait time wasn't bad though. They also allow you to do any combo of the signatures that you want, and don't limit the number of toppings for the build your owns (and they had a LOT OF toppings: VEGAN cheese, about 5 cheeses, almost 10 types and meat and just as many veggies). Gluten free crust is also available! The signature pizza and the pizza were both about 8 dollars and there were no different sizes. The one topping pizza was 6 something.
