Update: I had to call the store because my refund hadn't hit my account like they said they had processed. A gentleman answered and helped me out and said it seems they never went through with the refund. I'm gonna assume maybe they just forgot but if you said "I just refunded it right now" then you should've done it right then and there like this young man did. Also got an email for it to. I work nearby, and I've come to eat here a couple of times. I haven't in like a month or two and decided I wanted pizza. I got my pizza also added a ranch I noticed it was 79¢ more okay no worries they started to charge for it I get it... I get my ranch it's 2 oz not even full and you're charging grand total $85 for not even full cup of ranch? I worked at another pizza place and we had 4 oz ranch cups for 75¢ and they were filled, $15 pizza already and you can't fill up a ranch cup. OH now that I opened my pizza I asked in the directions for extra garlic where is the extra garlic Again for $15 for the only two toppings I asked for I didn't get the amount I had asked. Okay wow I've never had to edit my review before but I took a bite of my pizza what the heck? Why was 3 tons of salt poured all over it?!? This is completely disgusting. I'm at work so I can't even go back and complain so I'm just leaving this here. Horrible prices, horrible pizzas, horrible customers service. read more

The worst pizza I've ever had. It was like eating a cardboard box, it was tasteless. Would I go back? NO They do have great cold beer and the services is great. read more

My partner and I stopped in for a quick lunch and our visit was alright. The guy who initially took our order was friendly, but the girl who finished making our pizza was judgey when she took over to complete our pizza. We passed up on adding any meat and too many toppings, and she made comments like "seriously? No meat?", and "uhhh, I guess". It was very off putting. Aside from the poor service, the food came out quick and it was tasty. The crust can be a hit or miss of being burnt, and thankfully it wasn't this time around. the dining room wasn't too packed and the tables were clean. We hope the service will be better if we come back again. read more

I got a gluten free pepperoni pizza and a caesar salad. I love their take two option where you get half a pizza and a salad or another side. The gluten free is alright, but you just can't beat the classic dough! My friend got a high rise pepperoni pizza with mozzarella and ricotta, but when he got it, he noticed that there wasn't any mozzarella so he asked one of the employees about it. He checked super fast and said "Yeah, that's correct", so we went to go eat and his pizza was literally just dough with sauce, no cheese except for dollops of ricotta. If a customer says that something is missing, please make sure that the customer is getting what they ordered. The store itself is really nice, it always smells really yummy and there's lots of seating inside and outside. The bathrooms are clean and the staff is generally pretty friendly. read more

I honestly walked in thinking it was pizza press . Didn't realize it until the end that the pizza wasn't going through a conveyor belt....then it hit me WAIT A MINUTE. But hey same ingredients I always get what could possibly go wrong. I'm honestly disappointed. For one I feel like the conveyor belt at pizza press cooks the pizza alot more thorough. Secondly maybe I'm tripping but the pizza at blaze seems smaller . In a nutshell personally pizza press is doing it better. What's shocking is that pizza press is literally like 2 shops down. Blaze, you gotta do better. Produce wasn't as fresh, veggies were wilted. You can do better. Till next time. read more

They would not put the pepperoni on top because they have to go in order! How ridiculous is that! Not nearly as good as Mod's pizza and Mod's is less expensive and very generous with the portions. And the employees are much more friendly. read more

One of my complaints about Blaze was the the crust was too thin. well, there is an easy fix - double it up (or there abouts) by getting the rising crust. Popped in for Pi(e) day and braved the line for a lunch pizza. All the toppings were good and the pizza was tasty, and not at all soggy with the upgraded crust option. read more

Came in to get 2 pizzas to go. There was an online order that the 3 team members were working on. No on was inside and we're not greeted or acknowledged. The gentleman with tattoos who's team member, greeted and said he would be right with us. The 2 females assisted us but the female who has short hair was doing the toppings. (Her name was Sandaya) She looked flustered as I was asking for toppings. I requested for extra and disregarded. I kept requesting for extra because she was being very stingy with toppings. Sandaya even sighed and made it uncomfortable. As we ordered customers started coming in line. The other 2 team members were very helpful and kind. My son got the s'mores pie and got it warmed up. The reason I'm still doing 4 stars because the service on the end was great and it would be unfair to give a full bad review. They were good with the rest of the customers. Location was clean and their fountain station as well. Sandaya should be coached on how to be with guests. read more

UNBELIEVABLY bad service. I never write reviews but the experience me and my girlfriend had was so bad that I'm going out of my way to write a 1 star review. ( I wish I could give no stars). The lady who helped me had a horrible attitude from the start. Sloppily adding ingredients we had asked for (and I get it sometimes people are over it and not in a good mood but that doesn't excuse you to treat you paying customers like this) and when I had asked for salt and oregano I had asked for extra because SPECIFICALLY OREGANO. She then added way too much salt. I knew it from before she even put it in the oven but wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt and just try it. Afterwards I got the pizza took a bite and it was way too salty. I then told them that it was too salty and that earlier I had asked for more oregano and not extra salt. She then denied that I had specified what I wanted. She continued to fight with me and tell me that I was in the wrong when she clearly had not been treating customers well and making peoples food extremely sloppily. This is inexcusable. I kept thinking "imagine if that was how she treated my mother or grandmother while serving them. They ended up very reluctantly making me a half of a pizza cause only half of the pizza had been affected. After it had been made another worker grabbed the pizza from my hands very aggressively. After the pizza was made no one apologized for the bad service or bad experience. I could go on about this but the I'll end it with this. This is not how you treat a paying customer. The manager didn't even apologize for what had happened at the very least. Disgusting behavior. Everyone has a hard job. You should do your job well regardless of having a bad day or not. read more

WTF!! I've been coming here since day one, when they first opened in Olde Towne. Probably been here 100+ times. Today, as always, I'm "Building my own Pizza" The woman serving me refuses to put Mushrooms on my pizza! Don't you want meat!! Yes, after you put my mushrooms on. No Can Do, she says. Well that's the way I've always done it. Nope, not with me here. I walked out and dined somewhere else today. I'm building my pizza and not her. Needless to say, I won't be back again. What happened to customer service here?? So Sad!! read more

Years ago, we'd enjoy coming here and did so often. Now, the service is poor, the prices are high, and the overall experience is disappointing. During our last visit this past Sunday, as we were sitting and eating our pizzas, my husband and I watched as the gentleman who was putting pizzas into the oven and taking them out, dropped the pizza peel onto the floor - it was loud and was heard throughout the restaurant. He picked it up and hung it back onto the hook near the pizza oven. Moments later, he was removing pizzas from the oven and serving them to customers with the exact pizza peel that had fallen onto the floor. IT HAD NOT BEEN WASHED. Is this the standard at Blaze pizza? Dirty, floor germs being served to customers. When I asked to speak to a manager I was told there wasn't one available. The kind woman (the only mature employee there) brought this to the guys attention. He shrugged it off. Is this not a big deal? I'd like to add, that during the hour that we spent there, not once did this gentleman wash his hands. He also did not use gloves when handling the dozens of pizzas that he took out of the oven. I was completely shocked by the lack of accountability and attention to the severity of this incident. I guarantee we will not be back. read more

Workers here when I came were super unprofessional and had major attitude before I even started to order. Ended up turning around and walking out as I don't want anyone that angry making my food, who knows what they'd do to it. Ended up getting food posing from this place. The vegetables were limp and some look slimy. Not good.

First time getting food here, the food was good! But the service wasn't great, I didn't understand the menu & nobody explained it to me & gave me attitude when I asked for a thick crust instead of saying high rise & then waiting for my pizza got more attitude for not understanding how the pick up works.. just seemed like a bunch of annoyed at having to work employees read more

Bad customer service. Very inflexible when there was a misunderstanding. Don't think I will be coming back here.

We love pizza, especially shops like Blaze where you can create your own for one set affordable price! Such an expansive selection of toppings, tons of fresh options for veggie lovers too. My go to is extra red sauce, mozzarella, parmesan, ricotta, meatballs, spinach, tomato, basil, artichokes, roasted red peppers, finished off with a sprinkle of oregano, salt, and pepper! For those that find the build your own overwhelming they also have a menu of pizza offerings to choose from. With so many good options, you really can't go wrong. Yesterday there was a line but the staff was really efficient at getting through customers and we were out with our fresh to go pizzas in no time! read more

An employee really took his time out of his day while there was a long line to complain about Dr. Pepper on my "water cup". It's really not that deep to be honest. horrible service. absolutely horrid. the lady I think who is the manager, Spanish lady older, her hair was in a bun and had a million earrings in her ears. she was rude, nasty and mean. she left me and my 15 month old daughter outside in the rain. she was controlling the doors. then I bought a soda in a bottle and it was flat and I asked to exchange it and she said no. said I already opened it. Great service and good pizza. The ambience is great, little busy but it was great. Price is reasonable too.

Hmm, I have mixed emotions about this spot. The pre-made pizza flavors you can choose from are a bit sad looking, we didn't really like the bbq chicken pizza. Literally like 5 pieces of sad diced chicken. I did a build your own pizza, something is missing, lacking in the flavor profile, each one of my slices had like 5 pieces of garlic on each slice to the point I couldn't even taste the meat? Other than that, they only offer you one ranch per pizza and to me, these small little cups won't do it. The only thing that was "ok" was the pesto cheesy bread. I don't think I'll come back, I'd prefer Mod pizza instead. They actually load up your pizza. read more

I would give zero stars if I could! I would not recommend this location. We got to the location around 5PM for the pi day special. When we tried to walk into the establishment, the manager rudely closed the door in our face and told us to wait outside even though it was pouring rain. We happened to be the first people in line, but in a matter of minutes the line was down the block. When we tried to open the door she would get mad and say we would only be waiting a minute. The wait ended up actually being almost an hour. Not to mention there was not even a line inside and most of the workers were just standing around doing nothing for this hour. The manager was guarding the door, not doing any work. She was also wearing crocs which is a safety hazard and listening to music in her AirPods, not paying attention to customers. She was very nasty and rude to everyone and should not be a manager. When we finally got inside, still no one would take our order and we ended up waiting even longer. Eventually we got to the pay station and there was a very young boy working who looked around 12-13 years old. It seemed like he was being forced to work there by a family member who probably works there too, which is illegal. He also did not know how to work the register which held up the line even more. Never go to this location! There is another Blaze Pizza only a 10 minute drive away on Tustin by the Target. Go to that location, do not give this one your business! read more

This is my favorite pizza spot. Hands down. Please either know what you want by looking up the menu beforehand or have cash on hand to tip because for whatever UNGODLY reason, you can't tip with card. I've always had good experiences here, but the GOAT MVP is by far, Ruben. Welcoming- 10 Patience- 10 (I was very obviously obnoxious) Customer service- 10 EVERY SINGLE EMPLOYEE deserves a raise for the BS they have to put up with. EVERY SINGLE CUSTOMER needs to at least show respect, but preferably, do that while you are stuffing the tip jar with all of your money. K thx bye. read more

Pros - Building your own pizza is fantastic. I like the variety of toppings they offer and how quickly they cook. My favorite toppings are artichoke hearts, pesto sauce, chicken, kalamata olives, banana peppers, and mushrooms. Cons - Parking is tough sometimes at this location. Use the free parking lots or the structure if you don't mind a little walk. Service is ok. They are not as friendly at this location compared to others. read more

Surprised to see this location rated lower than my local one. A great first time experience here where everyone was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we didn't need anything. Really cute location & it's actually nice inside. The pizza is pretty good too. I did a build your own & it was reasonable.

All I can say is that the customer service here is amazing, especially for someone who may be new to blaze where there is a large menu and many choices. JC, Alan, and Fernando were very patient and had a smile (under their mask)... dont ask me how I knew they were smiling. I just felt it. All in all, i really would Recommend anyone to come here if there looking for a nice pizza for a good price and a clean atmosphere and a course amazing outgoing service. ps , there is outside seating underneath a tarp and it views of the orange old town circle is beautiful especially during sunset/early evening. very well lit area to enjoy your pizza read more
