I've managed and owned a pizza place and owned other restaurants, I've been a chef for over 30 years.... this is my favorite pizza!

Is this 5 star pizza and a 5 star experience? No. Does it deserve this low of a rating? Absolutely not. To me, they do a good job, and are very friendly there. It's good for chain pizza. It is expensive, but with coupons and deals, it can become reasonable. If you've never had ricotta dollops on your pizza, I'd recommend you try some. So, I have a new rating system......I will write what I feel honestly about an establishment. The only ratings I will give are 5 stars, which is enjoyable, or 3 stars which is "needs work." read more

Consistently the worst customer service ever. Clueless employees. They will never get your order right if you use the app. They'll forget to cook your order, use wrong dough, ingredients. It's astonishing how bad this place is. And of course pizza was cold and soggy and gross. As usual. Garbage establishment. read more

Had another good experience the other day. Used the mobile app to order. Food: The mobile app had an exclusive deal for a whole build your own pizza and a drink. It was a good deal and the pizza had a great cook and taste. Service: Great Service picking up my food. Ambiance: Only was there to pick up but the restaurant was clean when I walked through. read more

Alfredo thank you for being so helpful! We love Blaze! Really good and affordable pizza, breadsticks, and now even dessert. All with vegan options. The cinnamon sticks are really really good! They have regular and spicy marinara and if you like your pizza thicker you can get it that was as well. The vegan cheese is good and I really like both versions of the sauce. They don't skimp on toppings even if you do build your own and add a little of everything. We had a bit of an issue only one time with the wrong cheese but they fixed the issue quickly and didn't seem to mind at all they just wanted happy customers. The parking is easy and the interior is always clean. The workers I've interacted with have all been nice. Come check them out. read more

A new day, a new Blaze. Love checking out all the various Blaze location while I am traveling around. This location has a big parking lot and it is right off the Freeway. Very easy to get in and out of and back on the Freeway. Been here a number of times, always have had a good experience. I order from the App so my order is ready when I arrive, so not much interaction other than the pickup. One guy did ask me why I was taking pictures through, actually the first time anyone has ever asked me. The guy behind the counter was friendly, got me extra oregano and chili flakes and my order was perfect. I like how this location actually cuts my pie into more slices, a small thing, but one I like. The decor is similar to most other Blaze pizza locations, so theme and concept, open and clean with lots of seating options inside and out. Decided to change up my order a bit today, regular crust, spicy red sauce, the fresh mozzarella and roasted garlic chunks, soo good. No vampires are getting near me. Enjoy! read more

Blaze Pizza Hawthorne sucks - I should have checked the stars & ratings before going - I ordered a build your own and wanted to add strawberries to my pizza - the guy in charge Chris denied the request- but get this they'll sell you a pizza with pickles . I guess now a days they'll let anyone be in charge -not to mention the wrong people. On a positive note Linda who made my pizza was super nice - as a matter of fact she was the only one who greeted me with a hello and a smile - she should give the rest of them lessons. I rarely go to Blaze but every time my daughter comes to town we always end up there . And I have to say that I am never ever disappointed. The service was fast but yet still very courteous. The restaurant was busy (it was a Friday , early evening) several families and some young people , the atmosphere was a really nice vibe . Our pizza was ready with a quickness. Normally when your pizza is ready they ask if you'd like any additional toppings. This was the first time that no one asked us , we had to ask for the toppings. They did it without hesitation but I think they would've been fine but having to do it and to keep their assembly line lining right along. It was my first time trying the cauliflower crust and I LOVED it!! You really couldn't taste a difference. Even though the lot is shared with several other businesses in the strip mall Parking is pretty ample . It's a pretty busy intersection/area but it's no biggie All in all it was a great experience If they'd offered us the toppings at the end I would've given 5 stars but since they didn't and we had to ask I'm deducting one star read more

RIP "One Topping, One Price" Pizza :(... Just tried to add a few extra mushrooms to my pizza--next thing I know, I'm being charged like I ordered truffle shavings flown in from Italy. Last I checked, mushrooms at Costco haven't tripled in price, but hey, maybe these ones were massaged by monks. ‍ I guess when fast food workers are now making $20... maybe $30 (Thank You Mayor Bass), an hour (I lost track somewhere between minimum wage and Elon Musk's salary), someone's gotta foot the bill--and apparently, it's me. The guy who just wanted some fungus on his pizza. Blaze Pizza used to let you pile on toppings like you were at a salad bar in Vegas. Now it's like, "Easy there, buddy. One mushroom per slice. This isn't a luxury resort." At this rate, that thin, cardboard-flavored Pizza crust with a whisper of cheese and a single pepperoni might be a collector's item soon. So if you're craving disappointment in a box, better act fast--because I'm calling it: this is the first step toward another fast-casual chain vanishing into the pizza sauce-soaked abyss. read more

First off the older guy with glasses putting the boxes together was coughing not covering his mouth and then sneezed a couple of times and continued to out the boxes together. I paid for spicy pizza, a drink with tax and tip was 28.00 outrageous then I asked for a side of ranch and she said .54 cents I said I just spent 28.00, and she was like that's the price for everyone regardless of what they spend even if it's 100.00 I said it's in a bottle and this is absurd she said well write a review then if you don't like our policy. I participated in a school fundraiser in trying this restaurant. I've passed by this pizza restaurant so many times and I am happy that I came here for the fundraiser. The restaurant was clean, upbeat, and very welcoming. Upon walking in, the workers are so welcoming and helpful. They helped me out when making the pizza and providing guidance. I also could not make up my mind and, the worker informed me that I could do half and half for my pizza. So, I had half pesto and half regular marinara sauce. I added sausage, pepperoni, onions, and bacon. I have to say both sides of the pizza were really tasty and the crust was great too! I also enjoyed that it didn't take long for the pizza to finish. I would recommend to take your time and look at all of the toppings that they have because the variety is large. I will be coming back to get another pizza soon. read more

I stopped by after work to use my free $5 from T-mobile Tuesdays. The only thing that is completely covered by the $5 are their chocolate chip cookies, s'mores cookie, or brownie. I skipped the pizza making line where I was a bit turned off by their cookie cutter looking crust. Something just appears in fresh and unexciting about that. The employees were a bit distracted and inattentive when I walked up to the register and I had to stand there awkwardly for a minute. Then I got my cookie with my coupon. They offered to warm it up, but I declined. And I walked off and enjoyed it at home. It was delicious :) they put salt chunks which perfectly compliment the sweet chocolate. I wanted to get Costco pizza but my friend said let me take you somewhere else. So this place is designed for you to tell them how you want you pizza. So I took advantage and finally tried on half pizza the sweet hot honey and so happy I did it gave it a real good balance with a tiny kick to it. The only complaint is it was too clean as far as tables and floor. I'm sure us customers did tthat but they need ssomeone to man the dinning area. read more

I should've read the reviews first. The staff was unpleasant, zero customer service. The supposed meat lovers pizza had only 3 sparse not fully cooked looking meats on it. The cheese got solid very quickly after only 10mins on the table. I will never go back or recommend this place $45 for a large pizza that was a 3 on a scale of 1to10. Not to mention they had no plates we had to eat off napkins. Just tacky! read more

Stopped in for a quick lunch before heading to LAX. I ordered the Build Your Own Pizza ($11.95) and a side Caesar Side Salad ($6.45) so had a whole meal for just under $25.00 after taxes and gratuity. I asked for the pizza to be cooked "well done" but it still came out the oven on the soggy side. The salad was underwhelming but I think because the romaine lettuce was not as fresh. Service was fast but not personable by any means. The vibe just wasn't working me. read more

Easy Parking! This location was clean and well maintained. The help here were friendly and patient. My pizza was made from fresh ingredients and with care. I loved it. The crust was crisp from the fire heated oven! The sodas were cold too! We ate outside in the sun and enjoyed our lunch. Great location! read more

I always enjoy building my own pizza at Blaze.. they have so many options to choose from and the service is always pleasant! This is probably the only pizza place that i visit where i never have any issues! They always have a fresh selection and they never give any issues when asking for more toppings! As a customer the fact that they are not stingy on toppings and accomadate almost any request is enough to bring me back every time! This location has ample amount of seating and the atmosphere is always friendly. Ahh, just as their namesake goes, they produce and fire up pizzas in a blaze of time. This happened to be on my delivery app choices of lunch time local eateries. Liked the prices and possibilities. Rolled with simple mozzarella, garlic and arugula for me. A fam member insists on having pineapple and olives on hers. Was diggin'mine for lunch and leftovers for dinner. Tasty! Fam member though is an avid fan of her other go-to corporate pizza place and isn't so open to places that are different from what she is accustomed to. Couldn't get her to be a fan of Blaze.
