I grabbed a $5 cheese slice and a $5.50 Hawaiian. I was overcharged for two Hawaiian basically. I had to point it out to the clueless cashier. No apology either. Their pizza is basically grease with a side of dough and cheese. I'm fine with grease but when it's egregious it's kind of gross. Their cheese is also quite strong and pungent. It wasn't terrible but I can see it being off-putting for some. As for the dough, the edges were overcooked and more cracker-like than chewy but crispy. The Hawaiian slice was a major fail. They give you a large portion of both ham and pineapple, but the dough is way too weak so the slice falls apart instantly. Not to mention both slices tasted like they had been sitting out for wayyy too long. It's a bummer because I love walking down the street to grab a slice when I have a pizza craving, but LaRocco's has a laundry list of negatives and hardly any positives.
