This place seriously fell off it was pretty good about a decade ago but now the whole place is dead. Every now and then I'll crave Blaze but recently it's been made very sloppy. I didn't take a picture but I should've , basically orders a two top pizza which barely had any ingredients on top and the mozzarella was barely enough to cover the tomato just thrown so messy. They like pieces of char or all around and over the pizza the bottom is kinda burnt too , It leaves an after taste that is just not good and overall just unpleasant too see that you have pieces of black sprinkles all over the pizza with burnt crust. I was waiting for a while and they failed to call out my name even though I was waiting right in front of them . Too many employees just walking around trying to find something to do . They should be checking the bathrooms they are always disgusting . read more

I've never had a problem at my local Blaze. Whether ordering in person or via app, the pizzas are consistently well made. Prices have continued to rise as a build your own used to be something like $7 something. Order via app to get a large one topping for $12, which is a great deal for much more pizza than the individual 11 inch version. Opt for the ovalini mozzarella cheese in addition to the standard shredded cheese to elevate your pizza into a cheese pull experience. I don't come here as often anymore so am not racking up the rewards like I used to, but the rewards are pretty customer friendly. read more

Ordered the high rise crust and they gave us the regular instead. We regularly order both crusts and can tell the difference between the two. The prep sheet showed High rise so we tried to get what we ordered, but they insisted it was the high rise crust. They tried to compare a slice of the regular crust to show us we had the thicker high rise but it looked exactly like the pizza we just received. They obviously didn't want to remake our order, doubling down and saying it was high rise and there was "just something wrong with the dough." We let it go, although we did pay $3 more per pizza, but we will make sure to avoid this location from now on. read more

This is one of our favorite places to go when we want to eat pizza and don't wanna make it ourself. We love their thin crust - I love their cauliflower crust. I love that it comes in the 11 inch size and the larger size for my kids and often we have leftovers for the next day. I love all the flavors that they have Premade but that you can also customize it to be whatever you want and there are so many different levels of options and finishing drizzles that you're going to get what you like. They have a wide selection of drinks to go with it, a wide selection of treats to really make your meal special. Is Blaze in Hawthorne going to win best service any time soon? Definitely not. But, this review is about the product at hand, and they make a very tasty pizza that is worth a constant repeat. I recommend ordering online, as you pay ahead, the Blaze team is very much on top of producing these orders in a timely fashion, and you simply show up, collect your pizza without even saying a word, and are free to enjoy it in the restaurant or to go. The pizza I ordered yesterday was cooked perfectly with an even distribution of all of my toppings. This is a great concept. You get to customize your pizza and it's cooked right before your eyes as you wait. Pizza is good most times. The flavors do change often. For example the marinara is sometimes saltier and other times it's so bland. Sometimes the pizzalogist, if that is a word, adds too much of the sauce and sometimes they don't add enough. Sometimes they are feeling a bit generous and when you ask for pepperoni, they grab a little and put the tiny pepperonis on the pizza and you have to ask for a little more. Sometimes I have to step back and do a double take and ask myself, did I ask for a meat lover with extra pepperoni, lol. I'll ask for mushrooms and they will give me like 5 mushrooms. If this does happen and you ask for more they give you the , "are you seriously asking for more?" Stare. Ambiance: nothing special, they have lots of table, but it's not inviting. Blaze is a mighty fun place to eat. Their online ordering system makes it very easy for me to pass my phone around the office, and those who would like to make their selections can do so. The build your own pizza option has so many great ingredients to pick from. There's gluten free dough, there's white sauce, red sauce, pesto sauce, spicy red, chicken, pepperoni, sausage, salami, and more. The cheeses are many and they all are good. You don't see goat cheese and feta at every pizza parlor, do you? They've got it here. I'm lactose intolerant and it's such a challenge to find good pizza with vegan cheese but Blaze has been a staple in my house. We ordered online, app said pick up time 7:34-7:39. Still waiting @8:14pm. The curbside instructions are not at all clear, you have to call to let them know you are here. When I called to tell them I was here the employee told me that the ticket just came out. When telling her my pick up time from the app she said that tickets roll out 15 minutes before given pick up time. As I did not choose the pick up time, it was given to me, I don't see how the ticket could've just came out. I suggest coming inside to order the pizza for less confusion and a way shorter wait. The pizzas are cooked in a wood-fired oven, and the pizzas come out scrumptious. The service at this location could be better, depending on who is on the clock. The prices are very reasonable. The location of this Blaze is super convenient. It's located right off of the 405 South, so it's easy to get to. The restaurant is also open late, so you can get a pizza even after the other restaurants in the area have closed, which is great. I was offered another pizza but they gave me a coupon in my app that expired after a week. I ordered two green stripe pizzas to-go today 8/5/2021 at about 2:45pm-ish. The woman who took my order and wrote my name down appeared to have an issue with me telling her the correct of my name. Before my order was placed in the oven I asked for Extra pesto, I was told by they put in on after it comes out of the oven. Once my name was called, I asked was the extra pesto on the pizza, this is the same woman who took my order initially and wrote my name down, responded "Yes", it's on there. When I arrived home an opened my food (see pics below). I did not see whom decided to drown my pizza with pesto sauce, but I believe it was the same Blaze employee who took my name. I have been to Blaze on numerous occasions and have never experienced this kind of treatment. I have to correct people all the time on how to spell my name and it should NOT warrant this type of behavior! I was going to take pizza back however, my family was hungry and suggested I write a review about the poor service, so here you go. I've ordered online from this place 3 times and EVERY TIME the order is not ready on time. I understand that it can get crowded and busy, but adjust the wait time on the apps then. I've had to wait 15- 30 minutes more than the estimated pickup time each time. The staff is nice and i like the pizza, but it's not worth the extended wait, especially since the staff don't compensate you for waiting longer (I've asked if my pizza is ready at the counter and they always say no so they know I've waited up to half an hour more for the online pickup order). So after a day of errands that found us in the parking lot that contains this particular Blaze Pizza, my bride and I decided to call for car delivery. Twenty minutes? Cool. Thirty-four minutes later (we mistakenly said a friendly "no rush" on a check-up call we made at the twenty-five minute mark), a mechanic walked up to our car to deliver our purchases. Perhaps I should explain. Turns out the mechanic with the pizzas (yes, pizzas plural - I've loved her more every day of our eleven years, but we just can't agree on toppings) was actually employed by Blaze Pizza! See, I was confused by his jeans that were covered in black engine grime marks on his thighs. Kinda like he worked in a garage whose owner was too cheap to buy soap. Or towels. We got the loot home (three items), and two of the three are burned. One badly (Hers, I'm sad to say. Please see the picture). I've had good pizza at Blaze before, but at other locations. Sadly, I didn't write reviews those times - I promise to do better. My pizza was the one decent one. Decent. Definitely overbaked (see picture), and I asked for light sauce and got heavy. I didn't love it, but I didn't love the pesto sauce, and that was my choice. It was good for what it was, I just regretted the choice - not their fault. But everything else was! One star. And that is generous. Blaze Pizza is usually a good bet, but do yourself a favor and avoid this location until changes are made. read more

I ordered a raised Pepperoni Lover Pizza (Raised & Well Done) and basically there is no cheese on this pizza on some locations and the box was so small that the top of the pizza was touching the lid and the cheese that they had was stuck to the lid. Great location, food was great. I am giving a 3 for a sanitation. Given our global pandemic and for the sake of safety for all, it would be great to see staff keeping tables clean and wiping down the parmesan/red pepper seasoning that random guests are using. Staff are friendly, I see them walking the floors but not much cleaning activity, at all. Tables inside and outside are not clean. I seen staff refill the lemonade at the fountain bar, but no wiping in that area. It's too many staff to not have people sanitizing on a consistent basis. I ordered a vegan pizza on DoorDash and the delivery was very efficient thanks to Blaze and Dasher Dery. The vegan pizza tastes heavenly and divine. I love the vegan cheese as it is very rich (the most rich vegan cheese I have ever tasted my whole life). The mix of green pepper, mushroom and other veg is very amazing.
