He then began to ignore me and pretended I didn't exist. Whilst his other coworker, was talking to me in complete english and being cooperative. If I could rate 0 stars, I would. I ordered my food online and my estimated pickup time was 6:05pm. I arrived at the restaurant at roughly 6:05 and was never acknowledged by the staff in the pickup area until my name was called for my order at 6:35. We ordered cinnamon bread and the bread was sitting on the counter for 30 minutes (at least since I arrived) and was finally prepared after our pizza's were boxed. We were looking for a good pizza place and stumbled upon this .Which little did we know did not meet the requirements we were looking for. The pizza is all thin crust, FOR WHAT REASON? It tastes awfully unlike the good pizza place that google had promised us. The sauce was really sweet. The breadsticks were excellent. Not necessarily worth the money but the service was good. First time ordering from Blaze. It was a group order and this is just my review for my food. I purchased a Green Goddess Chopped Salad Entre. In the description it says it includes Romaine, Tomatoes, Red Onions, Mushrooms, Black Olives, Shredded Mozzerella and Oregano. The salad was big and plentiful, but by the time I picked out the stems/core of the lettuce it reduced by half. There were NO mushrooms, tasted NO oregano. I will say there were plenty of good tomatoes and those made up for a lot. I did not pick up the order but the lady here who did said it always went well. Came here as a Family like normal, ordered food, 4 soft drinks and one water for our toddler. They had no lids to fit the toddlers water cup with the other lids so I asked them if they had any, the employee replied if those over there don't fit then no. I asked if I could have a drink cup since those lids fit and explained that it was for a 1 year old that would spill it everywhere without one. The employee said not without paying for a soda. My first time trying Blaze! I'd been craving pizza for days so I had to try this place out, finally. There's no perfect pizza unless you build it yourself and at Blaze you can do that! I added all my fav toppings and some extra ones they had available like artichokes, vegan chorizo and goat cheese! Yum! The staff was so helpful and friendly since I was a first timer! Ordered from Blaze as I have had great experiences in the past. Got three design your own pizzas a cheesy bread and a side of ranch. Didn't get the ranch at all, and two of the pizzas were great. The one *I* got was a burnt inedible mess. The cheese is so over cooked the entire pizza is hard like a rock, the edges are black and I can not for my life understand WHY a normal person would think this trash is acceptable to serve another human being. Of course I am starving, and was very excited to eat a lovely meal. But it is definitely not this. The pizza was actually really good! But the workers were very very disrespectful. The lady that was working yelled at me for "reaching over the counter". I never passed the glass counter. I just instructed the young man with dreads to place the toppings on the correct half of the pizza. She was very rude, slamming utensils, and throwing toppings everywhere. She then made a comment about being short staffed. This is no reason for you to make your customers feel unwelcome though. Once I started talking to the young man with dreads stating That "this is bad customer service" she approached us and asked "if there was a problem" before I could answer she walked away from the counter. I am very disappointed at my visit to Blaze Pizza Gastonia. We did a online order as we had just visited the grocery store and wanted to do a fast pickup to take home - it was the complete opposite of fast. It was a Friday night but there was only 3 to 4 people in the entire restaurant dining and a few to go orders. I waited a entire hour to pick up our food which is ridiculous from the time the ticket was printed to the time I left. My cheesy bread came out first, then the second pizza, then the third about 15-20 mins apart. During the time I witnessed the staff help out a few people but other than that were standing around. The only one continuously working was the guy putting the pizza in the oven but in random order. I complained to the manager only to be told they were short staffed. I understand short staff when you are busy but when you have 8 people standing around on a slow night you have time to help and push out food. He also told me he could pull out my pizza under cooked and I could leave right then and there. Why would I want undercooked pizza when it should of been ready 30 mins ago or came out at the same time as the rest of my order. All I am asking for is to share my feedback and to have orders come out together and not minutes apart. I have visited the downtown Charlotte location and Disney springs and never had this issue until I visited here! I'd rather drive the 30 mins downtown and know I am going to get good service then come here again and be treated poorly and have to wait a hour for pizza. read more

The pizza and cheesy bread here are pretty darn good, but this last visit, they tried not to honor my military discount. That was disappointing. They tried to say they didn't know if this location gives that. Well, I've been there 5 or 6 times in the past 2 months and there wasn't an issue. My Wife and I placed an order and Blaze received the order at 8:10pm. We did not get our order until 8:50pm. We approached the manger about the problem( Black Gentleman with black and red dreadlocks. Wearing a blaze pizza Polo) and we said we have been waiting awhile and didn't under stand while the garlic break came out at 8:35, then another pizza at 8:45, and our second pizza wasn't even in the oven yet. He said "We'll if I pull the pizza out of the oven now I can give you the pizza raw" then laughed about it. This is who you have representing your restaurant. This is very sad. My wife and I both worked at Disney World and get that the business is stressful but when you have 5 workers standing around and not being managed that's a problem. Also he was walking around, while the restaurant and the food prep area was filthy. I still can't believe he said he would give us a raw pizza because my wife is 21 weeks pregnant. You're just asking for a law suite. We were not the only ones waiting for a pizza either. Multiple people were upset and asking why is the waits so long if theirs 5 people in the front working. Il tell you why because the manager cannot manage people. If your manager is lazy and doesn't care that's how your employees will be. If you cannot FIFO your orders and make sure your restaurant is clean you should not be a manager.
